  • Like Jamie yeah, but he loves developing an opinion and then just adding an edge to it that makes it SOUND damning or controversial. It's not enough I guess to say "I don't think Luis Diaz is as good as we thought he'd be", no, he has to say "he's fooled us into thinking he's a good footballer" as if there's some form of malice attributed to him

  • Reflecting on Klopp's era evokes a bittersweet feeling, not solely because of its success, but because of the colossal unfulfilled potential. The cracks in the system and the gradual decline were glaringly obvious, impossible to ignore. While skepticism about FSG as owners lingered from the start, time only validated those doubts. However, my perspective shifted towards Klopp's management from the 2020-21 season onwards. It began to resemble the Benitez era, marked by an overbearing sense of authority. Klopp's growing arrogance and unwillingness to heed advice led to the abrupt end of his 20-year friendship with Zelko Buvac (the brain) and the exodus of key personnel from Michael Edwards' team. This erosion of talent severely impacted the team's performance and tarnished Klopp's legacy. Despite unwavering support from FSG, it was clear they were too afraid to say no to him, knowing full well how much the LFC fans love him. If Klopp even hinted that FSG weren't listening to him, fans would have driven FSG across the pond for good. Klopp seemed reluctant to request essential reinforcements for key positions. The over-reliance on a handful of players such as VVD, AR, MS, TAA, Fabinho, and Henderson was glaring, especially given Klopp's demanding style of play. The lack of depth on the bench was not just evident; it was alarming. It's confounding why Klopp failed to address this issue. It seemed as though he had forgotten his role as the manager of Liverpool FC, instead focusing on his sway over FSG. This shift in power dynamics led to a situation where accountability became elusive, akin to the behavior of dictators.

    • Our fan base primarily consists of accountants, which explains their tendency to engage in discussions regarding the cost-effectiveness of our players, while other fans focus on winning trophies. Despite our accountant fans finding satisfaction in acquiring players at lower costs, they do not directly benefit from it. However, FSG's support extends beyond financial backing. For instance, they made significant changes, including dissolving Michael Edwards' recruitment team. This decision indicates a willingness to accommodate Klopp's preferences, underscoring his influence within the club. FSG's understanding of our fan base is evident in their strategic approach, maintaining a narrative that emphasises that we got no money, resulting in comparatively lower financial investments than clubs like West Ham and Aston Villa. Despite Liverpool's illustrious history, which includes six UEFA Champions League trophies, second only to Real Madrid and AC Milan, not to mention the league position and domestic Cup success, those fans who perceive FSG didn't back Klopp financially. This raises the question: why haven't these fans held FSG accountable? It appears that some fans allow emotions to cloud their judgment, failing to engage in critical analysis. This may explain FSG's emphasis on competing rather than solely focusing on winning. Furthermore, Liverpool FC is a globally recognised football club, generating a significant portion of its revenue from global TV rights and its expansive international fan base. Criticizing the club's management without attending matches is an unfounded and baseless claim.

  • 24:24 a declining Salah is BETTER than any other player we could replace him for.. IF THOSE dead fowards could finish ...Salah would theoretically be on 23 Assist with +8 points more.. and thats ONLY THE TAPINS

    • And why do people want to Cash In on Salah so bad? .. Why cant he stay until he retires? Look at Modric.. Comes off the bench when hes needed.. my man is 38.. Why cant people visionlize a scenario like that? I really think Salah will be able to stay for a long period of time at a high level.. exaclty like Modric/Benzema/Lewandoski

  • "Pep Ljinders football" yeah not gonna lie, feels like the style of play has come from Ljinders itself. Not he's solely to blame but our identity of rock and roll football just died since last season.
