5g potato starch
10ml cooking wine
5ml sesame oil

With enough skill, you can actually make the skin thinner and show more of the orange glow. This, still, is an amazing dish. I have no doubts of its flavor. :)

In Hong Kong we call it 蝦餃, found everywhere in restaurants. Brilliant. Hu Tao has good taste, it’s really amazing.

@@jqxlne there is no ‘r’ pronunciation at the end of the word- if we put it in english pronunciation it would have more emphasis on the a (eg. Haa-gao)

This is actually a local dish of my home,we buy this to eat a lot. This dish is called in Chinese 蝦餃
Actually i made this also myself but i don't think i will be able to feel the real taste of It but even though i made It myself It was delicious!

i love this dish so much, i don't get to have it all that often because we get it from a dim sum restaurant that we don't go to very often, but it's one of my favorite things there

Just head over to your local Cantonese Dim Sum store and you'll find these. They're a common dish in Cantonese Yumcha. Just ask for some "har gau" Pronunciations guide Har as in Harlem Gao as in Gaucho

People don't usually make 4 of these. Like dumplings, they make *a lot* then freeze the extra to cook later for a quicker meal. Har gao actually don't have much smell, but its taste does explode in the mouth, it's delicious. It's a lot of repetitive work to make a bunch, but they will disappear in a flash
