  • It's been 165 years since the Carrington Event. We ignore this at our own peril. I think a 90% death rate is realistic, and it's not just my opinion, the experts agree. It's insane we have $200 billion for Ukraine - but for an EMP/Solar Event we can't even get started fixing the problem when it's a fraction of what we've spent in Ukraine alone. It's Criminal to continue being derelict in solving this problem, and hardening our electric grid.

Sadly, it's just not sustainable on any level since we live on a finite spherical planet (or so they say 😄) and therefore finite resources are available for civilization to exploit. Those micro inverters will burn out under a solar storm or EMP. The rest of the equipment to make use of solar will need a shielding. A company sells a device to protect electricle equipment (EMP SHIELD) I belive the company is called.

Do they know about upcoming "the sensitive event" google say we cant talk about after it happens? Yes google say cant talk about "the sensitive event" that hasnt happened yet the Sun is local, not 93 million miles away, see videos from planes with sun below clouds, meaning below the horizon.. meaning the horizon is further and higher than the sun... meaning the horizon stay at eye level even at high altitude.. meaning we are on a plane and the Sun is local hovering above the Earth, shaped like the UN logo, or "like clay under the seal" as it says in bible. We dont know what the Sun is since we cant get to it like the rainbow, but it sure is not gas in vacuum, since gas behavior states it fills the available volume when it becomes available, it doesn't come together lol

    • I have always heard the warnings about using a whole house generator and the danger of not connecting to the transformer and back feeding electricity into the lines. Posing deadly amped up electricity down the line and killing line workers. So why can't small generators be used to create power if the substation goes down? I'm sure there is a logical reason. Thanks, rick in Tennessee.

      @TheAcceleratorMagazine@TheAcceleratorMagazine4 ай бұрын
    • That's a great line of thinking, but there are many reasons why this wouldn't work. One is generators need fuel, usually it's gasoline, diesel or natural gas. With no electrical grid you can't get any of those fuels, all the pumps are electric. Natural gas generators would run for a bit but once the pressure drops they'd all shutoff. Another is, backfeed becomes a low voltage the further you get from the generator. For example, if you had a natural gas generator and the grid went down you could run your house until the gas pressure drops. If you were backfeeding into the grid, maybe your neighbor could run something but most likely the voltage would be too low to run anything. Even if every other person in a neighborhood had natural gas generator maybe neighbors could run some things if you isolated the neighborhood from the rest of the grid, but again once the natural gas pressure drops the generators can't run. Gas and diesel generators would be pretty much useless, even if you could hand pump gasoline or diesel out of tanks, it would still be a fix that wouldn't last long. The logistics behind getting to a gas station, manually pumping the fuel and getting it back to your house would be extremely difficult. Remember a major GMD/EMP could also take out all the electronics in vehicles with any chips in it. Which nowadays is the great majority of vehicles. And once the tanks are dry, no more trucks are coming to replenish the gas and diesel. And that's not even getting into how people would lose it quickly and fight over fuel. People will quickly start killing each other for food, water and fuel. I don't think people fully understand how fast society would collapse. Within a couple of days violence and robbery would skyrocket and just keep skyrocketing. That's why they say if the entire grid went down for a year, over 90% of people would be dead.

    • Tucker recently interviewed Eric Weinstein about his trip to South America to see firsthand the invasion of our southern border. He explained how they came across a camp for migrants that was almost nothing but military-aged men who admitted they weren't coming for "asylum" but for economic reasons. That was bad enough but what was even more serious was the camp of Chinese migrants who are coming through the border for a different reason entirely and not one that is benevolent. He went on to explain how those migrants clearly have hostility towards Americans and are basically forming sleeper cells for the CCP which is funding and sending them to blend in with the rest of the migrants It's so obvious that they are going to hit our power grid as retaliation when the U.S. naively begins attacking Iran. Attacking Iran is an attack on Iran, China, and Russia, a war we have no way of winning but will inevitably result in our total destruction. This is why we must explain this to the naive boomer cuckservatives cheering on war against Iran on behalf of "our greatest ally" who have conned the U.S. into seven completely unnecessary wars that in no way have benefitted the American people, took the lives of millions, left us with several trillion in additional debt, and came at the horrific cost of the life and limbs of thousands of our soldiers, many of whom are "not aliving" themselves. I highly recommend the interview.

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Where the federal comes in is that we are a federation of states. Now a lot of this has been corrupted, but as justice Scalia once said, we are a federation under duress. Reading the Federalist Papers is very interesting in leaning how and why things were set up the way they were--and specifically why they rejected a democracy. Solar flare affects long lines like transmission lines/ transformers. Both shut down electricity for all practical purposes but it would be almost impossible to replace every electronic chip that controls everything. Either way most will die.
