    • MoonlightSky Well he was a villain in super star and super star ultra. Only after he gets defeated in Mask Dedede form does he give up on evil. I don’t think he’s been the bad guy since.

    • Andy Le and in a lot of cases Dedede is shown as Kirby's friend, the entire plot behind Triple Deluxe was Kirby trying to save his friend. And Meta Knight is more of a mentor there to test Kirby. But yeah, they're anything but enemies to him.

  • Well, King Dedede and Meta Knight may have wanted to hurt Kirby as always, but they want to help him out when he needs it. I mean, I see them as reasonable anti-heroes who aren’t completely evil. Anyway, I like the part where DDD was trying to beg Kirby from putting the Star Rod, but Kirby didn’t listen and then when he did, he realized that he made a mistake. Both of them “danced” in fear. DDD then suck him up and shoot him at Nightmare. I also like the part where DDD hit Kirby to save him from Queen Sectionia. These moments are funny. Lol. :)

    • I think the reason meta knight fights kirby is to make sure kirby is ready to go up against the bigger bads, i think his fights is when the difficulty starts to spike up so it's to prep you up. Dedede may be selfish but he has a righteous heart for his land and will do anything to defend it

    • Assuming the anime uses Dreamland 1’s Dedede, he was a bad guy. It wasn’t until after constantly losing to Kirby that he became a good guy. The anime also does this
