Irish Astronomical Society Seminar: Exploring The Night Sky Through Astrophotography

Martys talk will take us on a journey accross the night sky through some of his spectacular photographic images. In the talk he will introduce the equipment used in imaging some of the amazing deep sky targets available to us in the northern hemisphere and then explore some of the fascinating objects that have been captured in his recent astrophotography.
Bio:
Marty is an active member of the Irish Astronomical Society and a member of its Astrophotography Group. He is also chairperson of the popular group "Astrophotography Club Ireland", a group of enthusiastic astrophotographers with the purpose of promoting astrophotography in Ireland and sharing astro images.
