  • Great video. But I've been a subscriber for over a year but I see some stuff here that I don't think I've seen before. What kind of shifty operation you got going on here? 😅 Seriously though, your channel is the best. You give the driver's accounts of what happened and that's what puts this channel over the top.

    • Yeah, but not only from the truckers. Watch this "truck making an illegal[sic!] turn"-guy at 20:56. ZERO AWARENESS! And I guess he really believes what he wrote on screen, hehehe. I am not a trucker and I know that the driver was on the outer lane to get room for taking the curve. What are these people thinking? And then ... talking smart $hit on the interwebs ... without realizing what 1diots they are, not even feeling the slightest bit of responsibility for their actions while DRIVING INTO THE BLIND-SPOT of said "illegal turning trucker". I cannot believe how stoopid people are. But anyways. That's for our entertainment and that the insurance companies do not get bored, I guess:))) P.S.: Bicycle riders or pedestrians crossing the route of a truck making a right turn (in cities. the legal ones!, ouch!) are the third most cause of heavy accidents and traffic fatalities here in Germany. Every effing participant in road traffic knows how dangerous the right side of a large vehicle is. And still ... 10 seconds of life(better: supposed time gain) are more important than life itself. Or like in the video: Days of hassle about insurance and car repairs! The only solution now is to extend the brake assistants with side detectors and install blind-spot cameras, warning systems, etc. Well, you obviously can't mitigate(meaning: teaching them awareness and thoughtfulness) the actual stoopidity of your fellow drivers/citizens!:) P.S.S.: It isn't even clear if smarty-pants-car-driver in the video was in the right (lawfully!). In some countries and in some circumstances overtaking from the right (here on a separate right-turn lane) may be allowed. But it is ALWAYS part of road traffic regulations that you have to pay attention, protect the others and that you have to stay back to prevent dangerous situations. This was one of these situations! Have a save ride and greetings from Germany to Kentucky, Ranger!:)

    • @@dieSpinnt There were several mistakes made with this one. First, the trucker needs to learn how to thread the needle cleaner, LOL! Also, he should've had his signal on. That being said, the guy in the car, had that "I HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY!!!" attitude, and he paid the price. If I were a cop, and I'm not, but if I were... 👮 It would be a 50/50 situation. The trucker, for not signaling, and the 4 wheeler, for trying to pass on the right.

    • I don't have the years or the miles of experience that you do driver, yet I must agree that several of these were easily preventable if we all as professional drivers did our due diligence of tracking the idiots around us better. Doing so is critical for me hauling oversize loads with a tail swing that ranges from 10ft to 45ft and a total length ranging from 80ft to 150ft. It would be wonderful if everyone could return to being patient and courteous on the roadway, but in lieu of that we as professionals must take up the slack.

Instead of taking heed of the signal from the drivers ahead to proceed with caution, you threw it to the wind and put the pedal to the metal. Oil doesnt just leave they road, when it rains it gets brought up causing someone to easily hydroplane out of control. If its raining, you SHOULD treat it the same as if it had snowed. How people who are over 30 and don't do that is astounding. And by my guess I bet thats what happened to that SUV, was going the posted speed, hydroplaned. Causing everyone to slow down and they put on their hazards till they got their barrings. Then enters truck driver going the posted speed with a full load. Slow down and drive safe if its not Sunny/Cloudy.

If you're merging in front of a truck, wait until you can see all 5 of the orange lights above the front windshield *in your rear view mirror* before merging. We need at least 300 feet to stop safely at highway speeds (yes I'm aware not all truck drivers do this, but they should!). Finally, please don't merge across 2 lanes to make your exit. Pay attention to your GPS, and if you're going to miss your exit, just take the next one and turn around. Getting into a rush is why a lot of the wrecks in this video happened! He compared it to everyone else on the road being in a powerwheels car. But the main thing that he said that has stuck with me to this day was when he told me that big truckers give three blinks of their turn signal before they make the turn/lane switch/anything else. If you're in the way after they've done their three blinks, you're fucked cuz they can't see you and they're only going to realize you're there once they've hit you. I didn't believe it at first cuz I was a stupid teenager, but then I saw one of my classmates get run off the road and nearly die because he didn't get out of the big truck's way. Ever since then, I always watch those damn blinkers like a fucking hawk cuz I don't wanna get turned into road pasta.

When you are merging, you do not have the right of way. They could've just as easily slowed down since they were on an on ramp and gotten behind the truck, but they think they are far too important for that and demand the world gives them what they want. I've got an Excursion with welded bumpers, if they try that shit on me they can either get behind me or get hit. Wanting an exact spot in traffic doesn't mean you have a right to it.
