THIS IS AMAZING!!! Thanks you for making this video! I was slightly gutted after finally picking up my FinalMouse last year, and then all these seeing all these new 4k, USB-C charging, magnesium mice come out (which made me feel very sad). I really like the form factor so I didn't want to buy a completely new mouse, so I'm so glad someone has come out with a kit so we can update our mice!!

the main mod i am really hoping for is to convert a starlght into a ulx, for the sake of the web interface firmware. however idk if that sort of a mod is realistic... depends a lot
the web interface is good, I use mine for the wooting, lets hope it can be retro fitted to the older mice

you’ve got to weight reduce the keychron m4! it’s a fingertip mouse that’s 35g and feels dense. Would be nice to see it under 30

Try using something like mousetester next time for testing polling rate, web based testers aren't designed for higher pollings.
I've some latency test gear, but this isn't to show the max, just that it's now not 1k. I agree if you wanted to test it more accurately, then this isn't the method.

Yep that sums it up. A cheaper option is to get the vgn dragonfly pro 4k and to use that pcb

Meowmouse pcb isn't stabilized. 4k interferes with your wifi/router, makes it drop in speeds + increase ping.
hopefully they firmware it or keep it away from the wifi/router.... Cat 6 ftw

Imagine a pop-up target (monitors refresh rates) and a crap ton of bullets (mouse pulling rates) .. what's the point of shooting 8,10, 20 or 30+ bullets when only one can hit?
