How do you think Disney has been handling Marvel and Star Wars?
The problem with a lot of movies and shows especially those Disney is making is that the directors and producers don’t know and don’t care what the audience wants. If they wake up and pay more attention to the reviews especially from fans of books movies and shows are based on I’m sure things will get better and there will be a lot more blockbuster films coming out instead of failures.
They've made their money back by probably 10 fold by now on merchandise alone (wouldn't surprise me if it's vastly more). And that's even with them butchering everything they get their hands on....
It's amazing how this video dosen't take a look in the marketing cost of every movie and how in star wars galaxy's edge and the star crusier where complete money loss

The star wars you loved is still exactly the same. The new stuff doesn't have to be in your canon. Im happy regardless i get new content to watch. @@ImDefNotFamouswrong everyone knows the magic is not there anymore. The sequel trilogy is not as loved as the prequels or original trilogies. Even the merchandise for the sequels are down in gutter. Star Wars Galactic Star cruiser hotel experience is dead as well. Games sub par at best under Disney except for a few. And the various Star Wars tv series on Disney plus have seen dwindling viewership

I think Marvel's total gross was 29.8 billion, and Star Wars is 10 billion. I think that was totally worth it. Maybe Star Wars needs a better person at the Helm like a Kevin like figure.

Disney is lying how the earn money. They use streaming services and costs. Theme parks aren't doing that good. Star Wars Theory explained it. I believe how bad Marvels are. Disney is losing so much money. This video i know is not as accurate as Disney has lied about the money is making and is not sharing how much it is bleeding from failed movies to failed streaming services. Disney was such a good company and now has fallen hard.

Disney hasn't done a bad job with Marvel, Star Wars or FX. People just think it's cool to hate on the recent iterations of things. I'm excited for a lot of the projects coming up and things like Obi Wan, The Mandalorian, Loki series have been nothing but fire. Little internet incels and cretins get a reaction from being negative but actually they've clearly done a good job with a lot of the projects.
I can't stand the hate that Marvel movies get now, and especially with Brea Larson, she said somthing that was true and lots of white men got but hurt and took it the wrong way, so there answer was to boycot any movie she is in. As a kid i loved Marvel characters and the cartoons and as an adult im living my dream with these movies. Yes i even like what people call the bad ones.
Sell! Sell! Sell! Disney is on the way to going bankrupt and shutting down. Very few people want to watch their boring movies in theaters, pay for another crappy streaming service, or pay out the nose to go to their theme parks, especially in this economy
Are you accounting for toy sales and licensing as well? I've heard from several sources they doubled their sales goal each movie and that's their cash cow.

@@dustinb1070 I'm not an expert investor, but I have serious questions about how Disney stock went from $200 under Chapek, to less than $80 under Iger. Nelson Peltz is a significant shareholder with no reason to keep his stock now that the proxy war is over. Disney still also has to buy Comcast out for Hulu. Hasbro can't sell Star Wars merchandise, Disney will probably have to buy it back. I wouldn't trust Disney's projections, something seems off

The more companies/properties that operate at a loss while the parent company still makes money the better. I don't know how these big companies get away with that. A small single public company acts that way the board would get sued.
