Tagelharpa Gran Bassa - Short video to introduce the last arrival in the family.
The Tagelharpa Gran Bassa is a huge tagelharpa, studied, designed and made to express at her best the power of her low, very dark and intense sound, inspired by the ancient throat singing techniques.
We really hope you'll like her voice :)
Our website: www.camillamargheritaferrari.it
We're also on IG, and FB :)
And, if you'd like to hear her in music soon, keep checked the A Tergo Lupi music channel: / @atergolupi
Thank you for whatching (and listening)!
"What instrument do you play?" "The guillotine."
😂😂😂 perfect!!!😂😂😂
This should've played at the beginning of Skyrim
@@shuruff904maybe for TES6, we should spam Todd Howard😂
For anyone interested, the text behind her is one of the ancient Greek Delphic maxims. It says, "Know thyself."
Exactly :) Thank you! 🖤
yep! "gnôssi seautôn"
Knowledge is power. Power is to be shared. To be brighter together ❤️ ✨️ 💛 💖 💕 💓
@@ebanisteria.musicale Wtf do you mean by “throat-singing”? There are no throat-singing characteristics here whatsoever, zero over or under tones. Maybe you should know wtf you are talking about before you ever open your mouth.🤡🤦♂️🤦♂️💩🤷♂️
Thank-you for sharing this 🙏
Careful, that's how you get a dwarven clan knocking at your hut talking about a quest to slay a dragon....
If only!
Oof I wish lol
[Kock knock] We must away ere break of day to seek our enchanted gold!
Or beating the Allfather
Metal before metal existed. Sounds both warm and dark. Getting flashbacks to ancient woods and setting off on a sea voyage.
Thank you for these beautiful words! 🖤 They couldn't make me more glad, I feel truly grateful for such beautiful adjectives for the sound of my instrument. Thank you so much!
I agree with that, I only found the video a few days ago and since then I want to have this instrument. I'm just wondering if sounds like the ones Buddhists make during their mantra, or what they call it, would fit in with it. Unfortunately, I don't remember it anymore, but some of what I experienced almost 20 years ago could fit perfectly. Anyway, that is to say, the instrument has a similar effect on the soul.
@@ebanisteria.musicalethis is an awesome channel and I hate KZhead for just now recommending it to me...
And Goth.
This is the first time I have heard this instrument being played. I love the beating drone sounds, it’s simplicity of construction, and how the superbly talented player brings it to life. Very inspiring, and thank you. 🙏
Thank you so much for your beautiful words! 🖤 I am really glad that you liked it! :)
Hatte überhaupt keine Ahnung von der Existenz dieses Musikinstrumentes!Hört sich auf jeden Fall interessant an.Auch etwas melancholisch für mich.......!
:D Very interesting instrument. Fellow musician. Hehe
That tagelharpa is intense. Surprised I haven't seen it used for any movie music. Also that piece sounded fantastic once again.
Thank you so much, you're so kind! And I'm so glad that you like her voice :) A thousand thanks! 🖤
Maybe not movies but I know bands like Wardruna use one and they provided alot of the Music for the show Vikings and its fitting since the Tagelharpa is a nordic instrument and Wardrina performs nordic folkstyle music
@@JosephDawson1986 It may be Nordic, but it postdates the Vikings by quite a bit. Real Nordic music from that period would be similar to Anglo-Saxon and German music, as just 400 years prior they all spoke the same language.
I could have sworn I heard some in The Norseman
iirc you can hear a lot of tagelharpa in the Witcher games
Cold and deep, that bass tone grinds like a dying rock troll. Bravo!
I've never heard the cries of a dying rock troll but I do believe this is what they would sound like.
Thank you so much Matt for your words! :D I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you for real! 🖤🖤
I'm going to start using "grinds like a dying rock troll" in my daily vocabulary. Thank you for that

It actually is! :D
Also seems to use natural temperament
You were right.
@Forgeahead hello my old account
This is a sound which strikes the emotion of sadness and embedded struggle. Plowing through depths of decay almost. Love it for its evoking such feelings.
Your words are so deep and expressive, I love the way you are able to weave them to paint a full experience of senses. And of course, I am very glad you appreciate the dark and guttural voice of the Gran Bassa. Thank you! 🖤

It's maybe an illusion, but the tagelharpa looks like an instrument quite easy to learn. I too would like to try one.
Oh wow, I'm not even sure how to explain how much I love the sound of this instrument, those dark droning notes punctuated by handpicked ones that carry across a very somber feel. I absolutely Adore it.

First notes.......subscribed. outstanding. I feel that if I am playing this while doing anything, whatever that may be, will take on a certain level of gravity that will have me reaching to attain a level of perfection to honour my ancient ancestors. If that is folding washing, so be it, but it will be the most parallel & correct washing I will have ever folded to date. Until the next time when I will improve upon that. Beautiful tone. A movie is created just from the mood that you have set. Its like a tone, a mood & a harmonic sound or vibration all in one. Thank you.
I can just thank you for the beautiful words you gifted me with your comment, they are priceless and couldn't make me more glad that you like the sound of this instrument. @@ebanisteria.musicale I understood completely & thank you in return. I've shared the video with a few friends & the reaction is consistently positive & wow'ed! Thanks for uploading it. 😊👍. From NZ🇳🇿
With our eyes we see a person playing an instrument but with our ears we HEAR a musician dedicated to their instrument. Your dedication to your craft is helping to spread a familiarity & appreciation of the instrument that also pays respect to it & your mentors in more ways than one. It also takes many hours of effort & that deserves to be complimented in my opinion. All the best.
I am just so grateful for these words of yours, you don't know how much they mean to me. I give all myself to my work, I dedicate all my time, energy and mind to it, and your words are just like breathing fresh air... thank you again, for real! Ps. I had the opportunity to receive pictures of nature and stunning landscapes from your beautiful country... It is truly an otherworldly place! 🖤
@@ebanisteria.musicale Thank you & your welcome. We are often our harshest critics, but trust me when I say that everything I have written is what people can see & hear when you play. You can tell you have studied, practiced, practiced, practiced & worked & worked. That's why I chose the word "dedication". It's a higher level than simply "playing" & Im pleased for you that I wrote that because it tells you that all of the time & effort you invested in your craft was more than just theory, it's not only a tangible level of proficiency that people can see but also your own reward to yourself. There's something that seems to be shared in common among people that dedicate themselves to training & practice & work hard at something & go on to reach a higher level. Whether it's any form of sports or any musician, playing any instrument or a pilot or skydiver etc. It's the level of concentration, In my opinion. Thats one thing. But it is evident you have worked hard. Also, Thank you for your compliments regarding my country. It's nothing too fancy but we like it.😁. If you are able to travel at some stage, then you & a travelling companion or your partner, would be more than welcome to visit our country. Anytime that you & a friend weren't visiting other parts of the country, I'm sure that a safe, dry, warm & secure room could be provided 👍. If you came with a fellow musician & had the correct type of visa you could make it a working holiday, play occasional short length performances & possibly leave NZ with more money than when you arrived.🙄🤔 The internet certainly makes it easier for communication with any venues & for their booking managers to be aware of what you offer. I can guarantee two things. 99% of people in NZ will not have seen or heard the Tagelharpa Gran Bassa & the most important thing if foreign visitors want to earn money while travelling through NZ, they cant be taking a job that a NZ 'er (or Kiwi, as we are also known) could be doing, and....umm, I am pretty sure no Kiwi is going to be missing out on a job playing the Tagelharpa G B because they wont even know what one is! But it's unique enough & you easily play well enough, that people would be blown away by a performance in person, even short performances. You could probably apply that to almost any country that doesn't have a specific historical connection to the Tagelharpa. Please forgive me for getting carried away or if I have offended you at all. Crazy ideas, but sometimes the crazy ones are the best ones also. 😁🇳🇿✌️ P.s. how rude of me. What country are you from? My first guess would have been 🤔umm, Northen Sweden? (Northern Scandinavia is the impression I get, which would be kind of cheating though, when that isn't a single country. Im trying to guess without google'ng. The Tagelharpa sounds completely of Viking origins to me, but Im not certain that it doesnt have its roots back across to the mainland of the North. Im not going to Google it. 🙂🙋 I know that you're aware that it is quite a unique instrument, compared to a standard harp, but for people that have never seen or heard one before, anyone that hears you begin to play, will be incapable of looking the other way. 💯%.
So talented! I wish i had your skills in playing instruments.
