💯 agree Got this Raptor with 35" tires. Fuel tank range 400+ miles. Pro Power on board for camping.
How’s it been working out?
Excellent no issues, avg over 14 mpg while in 4A all the time. Pro Power on board was helpful in the winter.

Rapid Red Raptor... RRR Matey! Lol. Love the look of this truck. Was planning on all black or oxford white, either with black trim and tinted glass, but this red with black is sharp, so now I'm torn between three colors, thank you very little. 🙂 Going back and forth about the 35's or the 37's. Love the 37's look, but apparently there is a big drop off in already low average mpg, so balking at them. But the extra minimum road clearance of the 37's, and the look, sooo tempting.

Ordered one at the beginning of February before the $3300 price hike. It might be a year since Raptors are only trickling out the F150 assembly plants.

Lol, but I wish this came with Night Vision, like on the Cadillac Escalade or Audi Q8. Great in bad fog or snowstorms to see exhaust heat in front of you, even better than fog lights in certain circumstances, and better to see Bigfoot with too, of course. But there's a wish list with anything. Awesome vehicle. As for the Tremor, I'd be more interested in that if it just came with springs in all four corners like the Raptor instead of the more common leafs in the rear. The Raptor with a slightly narrower wheelbase would be perfect for me, maybe 3-4" wider instead of 6" compared to normal pickups.

I've had two ford raptors so far. I bough a trx in february. It was there for a month.. Then I switched back to F-150.. x)

@@dallasstang2818 well TRX is a real beast. this is a fact. but overall raptor is more comfortable, has nicer interior, gives a higher quality feeling, has quiet mode. can be used better in daily drive (this is just my opinion)
That’s what quite a bit of TRX owners are saying that the Raptor is just a better ride overall, but then it does come down to preference.. we’re all waiting to see how the V8 Raptor look like, sound and cost.

Great review. The comment about not needing the V8 power of the Raptor R makes a lot of sense. You don't need that much power in a off road truck! Going over that tree made it look too easy! I'd like to see how many clown Teslas can do that!!!

This guy is sorta right. You buy a truck for off roading and utility not drag racing. But I still hate having a V6 in a Raptor… Honestly, if you want off road performance and utilitarian use, and MPG, I’d go with a regular F150 with the Coyote. Then lift it with 37s.

You cant replicate this suspension in the aftermarket for anywhere near this price though
