While the mouse is pretty dman great, I have to say a new information for everyone that reads this comment; EDIT! ATTENTION! My mouse has gotten issues... now already. and i got the mouse in December. the sensor is lagging, laggy tracking sensor AT TIMES.... Not all the time but every 10 minutes or 5 minutes... bad bad bad... I use Zowie FK again, super reliable mouse.,.
Lycosa def call Logitech. they warranty it for 2 or 3 years unless you threw it at a wall or at the dog or cat or in the toilet ;)
Lycosa I definitely agree, im in need of a new mouse and the G502 was very appealing to me. I didn't want to get a razer mouse due to the crap plastic quality that they provide.
I don't like razer's software and double click (deathadder) issues. the G502 is pretty friggin awesome! I checked the manual, it is a 3 year warranty on it also. Just don't throw it at the wall ;)
Had the deathadder, didn't serve me very well. Broke after while because of it's cheap hardware. Got the SteelSeries Rival. Best mouse ever, extremely accurate, SUPER comfortable, rubberized grip, grips on the side that feel 500x better then the grips on the DeathAdder, much more customizable, even the lights are customizable to be any color, you can make it shift through all the colors, breathe between two colors, breathe like the DeathAdder, or just stay steady. Full RGB color spectrum, better click feel, the DeathAdder got loose after time and clicked when I didn't want it to, but the Rival just feels SO MUCH BETTER. The clicks are nice and tactile, and it has a DPI switch in a VERY convenient place, Folks, get the Rival, cheapest here and the best.
I have literally banged my mouse against the table and beat the shit out of it.... Still works perfectly the deathadder that is but I also have the g502 both great mice

Rossy Taylor The m65 and the g502 are both very good mice. I dont really like Razer cuz i kinda think its way too overpriced and the software is crap. I like logitech, have good experience with it. I have the 502 and its very very good. The shift button for sniping is nice and i use it allot in counter strike. The deathadder has only a few buttons, the 502 has so much more opportunities as the deathadder and you can put weights in the mouse to make it completely to what you prefer. I never had any mouse of corsair though. But i like the 502

Yes, I just bought one also and I completely agree. It's also extremely comfortable (at least in my hands).
The SSRival is my best investment when it comes to gaming accessories and pc overall. It's just worth the money, the rubber is not coming out as many say (im using the mouse for 6 months now), the SSengine is great altough i has some problems installing it, but its really customizable and all that. It feels really good i your hand and i even have smaller hands but it still feels great. Really precise.
I have both Razer Deathadder and Logitech G502 and I personally prefer the G502.

So cool to see a fellow Kiwi on youtube. I just got the deathadder and had tried out the g502. I found the g502 to be a lot more comfortable due to its thin body but chose the deathadder purely off aesthetics and because I already have a razer blackwidow keyboard.

I am very interested in the comfort difference of these mice. If you hold them in a palm grip with all fingers on the mouse while only wrist touching the mousepad, which of the deathadder and logitech feels wider, calculated as a distance between thumb and pinky? The most comfort comes from this distance and the ability of having enough space to rest all fingers on the mouse. Thank You

Man i hate Death Adders, they're so overrated. I ended up selling mine and picking up a Logitech G402.
how is the G402, I am planning on getting it, I like the appealing fusion engine that boosts the mouse's sensor to be even more accurate, and just the general feel of it and other features, plus they don't shove heaps of lights on it, just one or two in case you drop it, as if you would drop that beast mouse -_-
***** I have small bitch hands so It fits almost perfect, and I'm loving how easy it is to switch the Dpi on the fly. Also there's a button on the side which u hold and it slows the dpi down for aiming..It's basically the best FPS mouse you can get for $60.

Love my G502. Ive had it since december of 2015, and i have had no issues. Only downside is that if you got big hands, then its not the best feeling, but still very nice.
is it worth it to upgrade from the older "plastic deathadder" to the new one, or should i change to logitech? (or just stay with my old one?)
Logitech. Best mouse I've used, and I've been using Rival for a while. Loved it. However rubber might feel a bit different from other ergonomic rubber mice.

+basketballmarco g400 is still a decent mouse if you're looking for a durable mouse without any overly flashy gimmicks. I've used one for years and just today switched to G502, even though the G400 still works fine, although the LMB does seem to be a bit worn, but I've had it for easily 5 years.

What should I get
Just got rid of my rival after a few months because the rubber side was coming off on my fingers. The scroll wheel had a spot too that was noticeably harder to scroll through as well.
I have a G502 and it's pretty good but I don't like the shape... I tried out the Deathadder at the Armageddon Expo today and it felt amazing in my hand. I might get the Deathadder soon!

I had bought a DA. The ergonomics were awful to me, it didn't feel like I could grip it at all, it always felt like I was holding it with only my fingers on the sides (Probably because I have big hands with long fingers), the scroll wheel was fucked up a little bit (felt like something was grinding and make a squicky noise sometimes). I gave it to my brother since he has owned an older version of DA for about 4 years and he has loved it. Gonna try Rival now.

Filip death adder, once you get used to it it’s really good for casual and very competitive games.
Dpi settings are great for games where you have to jump in different vehicles that all handle differently or turrets etc.
I have been using the G502 Proteus Spectrum for 3 days now and I HATE HATE HATE the scroll wheel. Total deal breaker for me. I am upgrading from a 10 year old Razer Copperhead and still prefer the Razer's shape and feel. What to do?
If you hate it you should probably return it while you still can, I like the G502 as well but for long play sessions it's a bit painful, and when i dropped it the scroll wheel broke, but i would return it for a Razer Chroma/Elite which has a better scroll wheel and a great sensor. I am a big logitech fan, but this mouse is way more comfortable, even if it's pretty simple design wise.

I agree, I personally hated the comfort on the G502. My whole hand was uncomfortable the whole time using it, particularly my ring and pinky finger on the side. Also, I disliked the scroll wheel. In a way there was "too much" on the mouse. I want something good but simple.

the reason i chose the rival was because of the longer mouse and i found to be the most comfortable. I didnt like how my pinky hung off of the g502 and death adder was to chunky and my pinky would hang off the side as well. I personally liked the rat 7 but my sensor started screwing up.
Use the rival 300 for two years now and I actually can hold it pretty well... Depending on people's hand size

I've had the g502 for 2 years now it's a very good product it can be heavy with all the weights added in. The clicks are very tactile but if you are not looking for something as customizable and want something plain the steel series might be for you

I have personally owned the Death Adder 2013 for about a year, but had sold it due to the need of money and the fact that I was on the go and on the Logitech G 602 as well and I decided to keep that given my situation. Now I use a hybrid grip a fingertip and claw grip so the death after the very comfortable wasn't always ideal for me even though I have large hands. The g602 with a very capable mouse for being wireless and also a very comfortable mouth, so once it started going for the amount of times I've dropped it looking for replacement. I found myself torn between getting another Death Adder or purchasing on chance the Logitech g502 after much time researching considering my grip style I decided to give the g502 a chance. Now in comparison from what I remember of a Death Adder 2013 in the g502 I would have to say they're probably on par and the decision going towards one of the other do to your preferences but whether you like medium to heavy mouse or lighter Mouse. What do you need custom ability and depending I want your specific grip type is, and with that being said both mice are top of the line for the price range. I just received the g502 yesterday morning and though the shape is similar to the g602 it is slightly thinner and shorter in length n suprisingly given my wider and larger hands I do not find this uncomfortable and talk to the mouse very quickly. Ascensor as far as my mouse test went and my own impressions from the several different games I have played in the past 2days I can easily say that it is incredibly accurate and responsive as far as with key presses and movement. Travel for the left right click is just slight more than the da 2013 which I am happy with. Both mice speak of quality, but as far as my hand comfort for my grip I would say the g502 is best. I do not feel anyone could go who with either one of these products if you bare looking precision, smooth glide, and quick and reactive switches. I would vote the g502 for those that palm with medium hands or fingertip an for claw with medium/large hands over the DA and give the DA for Palm grip for those with longer and or wider hands. As a third option I would recommend the Mionix Naos 7000 for those claw and palm grip users. Anyways any of these three are great comfort and great sensors on the market from my experiences and many reviews from other gamers and the like.

The Logitech g502 is the best mouse out there in my opinion. It`s just soooo goodin every single way.. there is really no downside to it.

disregard +McNips. g502 is by far the smallest mouse there and not good for palm gripping unless you are 10 years old. If you have small-medium man hands then go for the Death adder. If you have large man hands (the reviewer does not have large man hands), then go for the rival.

What he said about the buttons on the g502 you could make your buttons be anything if you were crazy you left click could even be multiple multiple keys together like just pressing left click and it does ctrl alt delete and any button can change dpi and it Is great for spells or items in dota just say your first ability is q then go to the Logitech software for the mouse and change whatever button you want for ability 1 to q and then just the accuracy and amazing dpi settings of the Logitech is awesome and you can make custom setting for your own surface that you have the mouse on and that weights are not round so they don't roll away and honestly I love the tilting your scroll wheel as a button it's so acsseable and I really lie the scroll wheel it is actually easy but not to easy to turn and my finger never slips al in all I give this mouse 10/10 I only have one problem reaching the far forward bottom button because I have tiny thumbs Srry for spelling errors if you are still reading
I don't get the whole "slippery scroll wheel" on the G502. My fingers never slip and with a little bit of discipline the freewheel is fine, not perfect but nothing to complain about. The other scroll wheel is where I have the issue, it feels too free, so the opposite of your problem. My main problem with it being too free is the horrid noise it makes when I accidentally scroll too much

Steelseries Rival would be my pick out of those 3 (and just in general out of all mice).
I have SS Rival and after almost 2 years both side rubber grips weared off. The rubber feels very cheap. So now I'm pretty dissapointed of my choice. Also it's not as ergonomic as you might expect but it's not bad either.

Logi DSN G502, great ergonomics, really durable and reliable through many reviews i've read, one of the best optical sensors out there, absolutely zero acceleration, 11 programmable buttons, weight system. I think it's perfect

The Rival is terrible, after a few days the surface is worned down it's like one big flat spot (especially if sweat is an issue for you) and the big rubbers on the sides get's so dirty, all rubber do but of course it's more noticeable and less pleasant the more/bigger rubber there is. The Deathadder is by far the best one i've had so far.
I just bought g502 and I have to agree with the scoll wheel. On free-mode it's good, but when I take mouse in my hand, it may scroll a little even if i don't touch the wheel. So it is little too loose. On normal mode the wheel is awful. Whole mouse shakes when you are using it. It's better, if you are scrolling it fast, but going one step at the time makes me think that this scrolling isn't good for the mouse. Although I don't think the wheel is slippery. I actually like the surface. The side buttons could have been placed better. Previous and next page buttons could be a little smaller and closer to the tip of the mouse. I have to put my thumb akwardly back while pushing the previous page button. It's not too bad, but it could be better. Mouse is also little too heavy, but it's ok and slides smoothly even on a plain table. Not a good choice for those who like to lift their mouse. I'm very pleased with this mouse and it is the best mouse I've had.
Rival is the best for FPS games, and also feels very secure and nice in the hands, tracking is excellent, good sensor. I would go anytime for the Rival, because I already own the oher two, and this guy doesn't have a clue ......

Even TRYING I couldn't get my finger to slip off the mouse wheel on the g502. I mean, like barely pulling back. I see no issue with the mouse wheel. + The free mode is hyper scrolling. It's not ment to be used for normal scrolling, its for when you are using it for things that require extremely fast clicking. Like jumping or firing semi auto pistols, or even grinding monsters on an MMO.
Or scrolling up a super long comments page with ease

Ok, i've got 21 cms from pinky to thumb, 18 cms from the top of middle finger to wrist, and 9 cms from left to right ( the bottom of the thumb) and I play osu!, anyone can tell me which suites the best from the POV of my palm size? I don't care about the sensitivity/etc, i just need the size, thanks.
The steelseries rival 100 should do you nice. its very responsive and comfortable overall.

After owning the logitech g502 and the deathadder I can personally say that the deathadder feels cheap and plastic and collects dirt very easily, however the g502 fits my hand a lot better and feels very durable and has never let me down

Nothing is. This guy just chose the DeathAdder to win.. not possible, I mean he said Rival has no upsides. I love my Rival, it does perform way better overall than DeathAdder, better ergonomics etc.
the scroll wheel on the rival and proteous will "break in" over time. the best way is to hold it up and spin it repeateadly every now and then ive had a rival for a year and a proteous for a month and they arent the same.
at the beginning did he really say mouses like can we get a montage of music synced with him saying mouses like am I right?
