Somehow my TV chose your channel while I was playing with my cat... I became mesmerized by your clever projects and had to tell you how much I admire your talent. I'm a whole lot older .. my days of macrame and even cooking are no longer possible as I am crippled, but I do have a lot of fun doing art stuff.. mostly colored pencils. You remind me of the wonderful days when I was young and didn't have as much money as I wanted but had a great time canning, gardening, decoupage embroidering, baking...60's stuff.. 111And of course flirting and learning how to look sexy on a budget. I got married s lot too..:)..a really fun project I did was to paint a personalized monopoly tabletop.. portable naming the properties for people in the news or relatives...cated it with clear hard decoupage . You're so pretty and smart. I just want to tell you that you're really talented and beautiful and kind.. sharing all your fun with the world is a blessing for everyone. I'm sure you are so loved... I don’t think any of our lives turn out precisely how we may have envisioned them to be but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still wonderful. You should try journaling your life story. These are all so beautiful, but does anyone else feel overwhelmed because the ideas are so sporadic? I'd really like to see one room of the house diy decorated with the same theme so we get an idea of what the whole room would look like with the new diy. ❤️ 😍 💖

In the 2nd DIY - spray painting on soft soap - good idea is to vertically tape a section & then spray paint .. that’s how it’s easier to track when the bottle is running out of soap .. plus it color blocks & breaks the “all grey” color

2 things: 1) Really like the stick art! 2) Going to make the 3 vases w/the succulents for my table.
Here’s my trick for twine ends so they don’t fray when beading. Put a drop of white glue on the end and then roll it back and forth between your fingers. It creates a nice point and the glue dries fairly quickly. Love all your ideas! Your crafts look very high end and trendy. Thanks!

Hi Liz, I just discover your KZhead link. I love your creativities. I am creative too but being so busy with work, school, and volunteering for church, I neglect my creativity. Watching your videos, you inspire and encourage me. I save a lot of things because I have a lot of create ideas floating in my heads but don’t have time to focus on them. With Christmas break, I am working on organizing my craft room. I hope with it organized will inspire me to sometimes on them. Thank you Liz for sharing your gift. Very creative ideas! Black must be your favorite decorating color since you use a lot of it…. Lol
I've found that 'Ross,' formerly 'Ross Dress Barn,' always has crafting supplies super cheap, canvasses, paints, etc. I love the flat 5x7 ones for when I want my gbabies to create art, giving them each 3 or 4, some paint, and letting them 'design.' I myself love this - keep it or use as mother's/father's day gifts or Christmas, and we do this several times a year (back east we actually had 4 seasons) but for me - I'd rather hang their art and it's priceless to me. Finding the 'clearance' section at Ross makes it affordable, and I find a variety of art supplies for endless creations!!

At 24 minutes, you use a whole load of rubber bands for your white yarn wall hanging. May I suggest that using white thread instead would last much longer, especially if the wall hanging is hung in direct sunlight. Those rubber bands will lose their elasticity over time and eventually fall apart! If someone makes these to sell, it would need to last. Love your channel! New subscriber! Greetings from England 🇬🇧

Wow! The wall sconce should get an award. That's absolutely amazing. I was at a thrift store the other day and saw these bamboo woven type placemats and thought what can I do with these and I couldn't think of anything at the moment so I put them back down but wow!
The only problem i seen in them is turning them on& off with them being stuck with poster stick it to the wall.

Liz I know this has nothing to do with your crafts but I have to mention that I always admire your makeup when I view your videos. I don’t know if you do your own makeup or if you have your own makeup artist but it looks stunning! Those are the colors I always chose when I was younger and still try to use now that I’m in my 60’s. Unfortunately wrinkles set in and makeup doesn’t look like it did when I was younger lol. Beautiful job! ❤

When cutting a bunch of skewers, it would be easier to tape (or tie) them together in a tight bundle above and below your cut mark. Then saw through the bundle like you would saw through a small tree branch.

I am a crafter but I wasn't overly excited about any of your DYI"s, too modern, I am a farmhouse girl, but I did love your marbling technicue. But for those who get into that kind of decorations, yes they were very lovely, but not for me. You are very creative. The solar light on the outside table was great, I loved that. And the tapered candles were lovely!

On the macrame, I noticed when you were pounding in what looked like nails in the wall, I hang a lot of canvas portraits in our hallway and I use clear push pins from the dollar tree instead, thank you for the ideas, I hope you have a Happy New Year.

I made this trivet project and I love it; but for stability I adhered dollar tree adhesive backed cork sheet tithe felt first! Looks really nice.

As a rabid homesteader/hydroponic gardener, the creations you make with fake plants make me cringe - so I find myself planning some of the creations using real plants - preferably using a little soul who will either feed or flavor my food or scent my soul with its beauty. So many cute ideas but there really isn’t a replacement for the pompous grass 🤦♀️😂 I have used that army yellow color before it is definitely a different color. Not sure what to call it. Hanging plants and macrame was so popular in the 70s.
So was pompas grass, oh and peacock feathers. Then came austere tall black vases with painted sticks- black and teal or black and dusty rose, right next to a frames Nagal print lol (you remember, those modern ladies with sleek dark hair and sunglasses)
