Tom & Nova, overcame a lot and made something without sucking off the industry. That is why most people do not like them. Almost all of their talent now has come from failing in their past. Most people can't overcome their past and it consumes them. They took all of their talent and negative to make themselves, who they are now. They speak the truth in their music and some people can't. A lot of people can never get out of their addictions and the HOG has a positive message, that you can fail, but you can also overcome and become a better person.

Died July 2019 after almost 40 years of drugs, booze, and a demonic, crack cocaine battle. He died as he lived, running out of a crack house in Tennessee from real demons only he could see, down the street at night, screaming "They're trying to kill me!!" I battle anxiety. Some days are worse than others. Some days I can't move. Every day, sometimes every minute, I bring it to God. Every day, every morning, I pray before I leave the house, I have to. That saves me. Recently, I started praying the Stations of the Cross every day. I've tried everything. I tell Jesus, "All I have is pain. I offer it up as penance for my sins. I want to go to heaven." Peace is starting in my soul, thank you Lord Jesus! That is no flippancy, I mean it. He is sweet to me and I am so undeserving! I will add you to my prayer list Mr Macdonald.
