    • In a documentary, Carl mentioned that he could see himself in Frank's place, he was just a kid with bad circumstances with nowhere else to go and had to provide for himself. He broke many laws and that rather than spending his time behind bars, he needed to pay off his debt to society by working a job where his talents exceeded others.

I hope that Leo and Tom manage to make another movie together at some point in their careers because the chemistry between the two of them in this movie especially in their/this first scene is amazing and brilliant just like the chemistry between Leo and Kate and Leo and Tom Hardy their work together on movies and in real life is awesome and you can see and tell they’re not faking it like a lot of other actors and actresses where there’s zero chemistry like the two leads in the 50 shades of grey movies!?! They was just awful. X 🤣🤣🤣 kzhead.info/sun/mKeQhZeZa3-epIE/bejne.html

  • The story of Frank Abagnale in real life was one of inspiration, and he appeared in this movie as a French policeman arresting his character. It's my understanding Spielberg went great lengths to try and match this movie to Abagnale himself and though Frank never received royalties from it, he approved of this film himself. I must admit, Leonardo DiCaprio did such a wonderful job portraying him, you have to give him credit for showing us loosely what Abagnale was like. Sometimes, you have to walk through the fire to learn a valuable lesson. Albeit he is a former con man, Frank used those experiences to turn his life around and become a security consultant, and he is a darn good one at that. Great movie with such a tough, yet inspirational story

    @mtiller2006@mtiller20064 жыл бұрын
    • Lies! Frank never turned his life around. He still goes around telling people all this actually happened, when in reality none of this is true. He was a mediocre thief who traumatized a whole family with his con. Not once has he shown remorse for his actions. But at least the truth is finally coming out: kzhead.info/sun/jduPesyuboCvhHA/bejne.html

    • Much of the movie, and even what the real Abagnale said is fake. He claims he was only ever arrested one time, but police records show he was arrested nearly a dozen times in the US and served prison time. There is also no record of him ever working for the FBI.

    • Actually, it proves the opposite. He didn't beat the system, he just put off his capture and shortened his sentence. You should watch Frank telling his true story. It's captivating.

      @LilDP@LilDP6 жыл бұрын
    • LilDP I meant by beating the system in a different way. He's supposed to be looked down upon by society since he's a "criminal" especially that he's a con man. But he's managed to make himself looked as an inspiration to the common man. Because even though it's corny, you would think a criminal like this would just spend his life in jail not helping the gov't. But hey that's life.

Fbi is a government job, he does not need to drag leon out to work with him, and all those custody bullshits, it aint worth doing them if it isn’t for your friend. Leon isnt born as a bad person, given a good chance, he could be a decent person again. Hanks believes in it, and trusts leon.... thats what makes this movie so great
