Two former St. Louis Police officers testified against their own Monday. Three officers are accused in the beating of an undercover officer when they thought he was a protester.
"Sorry, we didn't know he was one of the people we're not allowed to take our anger out on"
We thought he was a protester. How is that a defense? The issue isn't that you beat a cop. The issue is that you beat a man who didn't deserve it whether he was a cop or not is besides the point.

The only time this type of police abuse gets paid attention to is when they unleash on a fellow cop, politician, judge or someone that is supposed to be in the untouchable class. Then finally some heads roll but f#ck the rest of us.

When they are convicted they need to have special prison suits that have EX COP emblazoned on the back and front in large capital letters and make them reside in General Population. Lets see just how tough they really are. My guess is not very.

This is why every police officer that wants to keep their job, by law must submit every six months to a psych evaluation test by a qualified professional not affiliated with the union or the force and paid for from his own pocket. Also every states Congress needs to do away with the Terry Stop and Qualified Immunity. Why must us Tax Payer be responsible for a Career Criminal police officers actions. Tax Payers need to start contacting their Congressmen on this. Make the officer be responsible for his actions, not the tax payers!
Dude you don't know what you are talking about. A Terry stop is referencing a court case that spells out a lawful stop and frisk. And who told you all cops must do a psych eval every 6 months. Ask a cop that question.

St Louis got problems. Wasn't Justice Dept there doing an investigation saying the whole department is corrupt. I think we need to rethink what policing should be.

They only came forward because the guy they beat up was a cop and had the beginning of the encounter on video. Otherwise this would have gone nowhere.
