I’m glad that Matt owns his ears the way he does. I knew someone whose dad taped her ears back when she was a little girl so they wouldn’t stick out, and she still carries a lot of pain and resentment over that. I think it’s wonderful for kids who have any physical trait like that to be able to look at their parents and know that it’s not something they need to change about themselves.

I used to binge this channel with my ex-girlfriend on lazy afternoons many years ago. We watched on her account, so I had no idea how to find it. I’m glad that Matt owns his ears the way he does. I knew someone whose dad taped her ears back when she was a little girl so they wouldn’t stick out, and she still carries a lot of pain and resentment over that. I think it’s wonderful for kids who have any physical trait like that to be able to look at their parents and know that it’s not something they need to change about themselves.
