Many casinos allow betting as soon as losing chips are removed from table, this speeds up the game. Usually they ask that you don’t bet near the marker though, until it’s removed (leave a street open to the right and to the left). I notice in Vegas you can’t bet anything until marker is fully removed…. Slows down the game, but reduces chances for payout mistakes.
