Underdog Destroying GOATS in Muay Thai | Jonathan Haggerty

2023 ж. 29 Там.
310 037 Рет қаралды

He proved the world wrong, twice... by taking out 2 GOATS. This is the story of Jonathan Haggerty, the general. It's rare for a fighter with 20 fights to take out legendary champions with 300+ fights. The world didn't believe Haggerty could do it, but he believed it, and then did it.

    • Yup since his fighting days he is n all rounder in Muay Thai boxing but his punching power is not there yet after he goes up weight he also improved his punching power from his fight with Nong O I predicted he will lose to Nong O maybe bye KO or TKO but I,m so wrong instead he Jonathan KO Nong O,from his striking n his moving up weight I honestly believe if Jonathan n rodtang will have a rematch in Jonathan weight class rodtang will lose the fights maybe KO late rounds 4 or 5 oh my personal perspective of Jonathan now bless him peace cheers

Trained for a few months at his father's gym Keddles (now known as fordes) and it's just mad to me that I'm training in a world champion gym. Never met him like yourself, I bet he's lovely alike the people who work and attend at the gym.

To have that level of Muay Thai technical knowledge and such a high level Muay Thai fight IQ with only 20-odd fights, and especially as a non-Thai, is absolutely mind-blowing. He fights like a native Thai with 200+ fights. It's unbelievable to watch.

  • I saw a lot of comments here that sought for our soreness when our fighter lost to a farang fighter. That's wrong ! We're already happy world people like Muay Thai and we're actually looking forward to a farang fighter who's really good and honest to Muay Thai among tons of 'contaminated' fighters who just self-branded MT for own benefits. Winning our GOATs doesn't mind as long as he's honest and doesn't just impersonate MT as other martial art for own promotion like many world fighters do. Jonathan Haggerty is true to MT, his style is authentic, we respect him for that and he's really good with demeanor.

  • This is what sets this sport apart, haggerty was still a teen fighting the worlds best, boxing will forever be a crooked shady sport, Muay Thai fighters and most mma don’t get the recognition they deserve, absolute warrior I can’t state the respect I have for these men 💯👑

  • For me I think he should give another chance to Nong-O like how Rodtang gave him the second chance though, but seems like he just want to get more belts. respect him though he is really a beast!

  • What impresses me a lot about Haggerty, he beats these Muay Thai legends with a ton of more experience than him. Reminds me of how Bazooka Joe would beat all these guys with way more experience. Just shows how high of a skill level these guys are!

    • What I mean by Haggerty having less experience… Nong-O has over 300+ pro fights, and Haggerty has only 25 pro fights. It’s really impressive seeing guys like Haggerty beat guys with 10x more experience than him!

  • The only difference between Rodtang and the guy this documentary is about. It's the mentality. Rodtang is fighting to the death in his mind, while the other guy is trying to win a fight. He would need to change his mind set to beat that guy. Good luck bro! 👍

  • I knew I was right to covet him as my favourite several years back. I hope to be just like him but more, and eventually meet him head to head in the ring.

  • Haggerty's first leg kick from O that "rocked him" probably hurt O like hell too, because he checked it very well.
