The problem with Bob Sapp was that physically he grew up quite huge, but mentally he remained a bullied child who one day, it appears, suddenly discovered that he had power. But without developing sound techniques, he could not exploit his power. His power became his limitation.

Ernesto Hoost was not in his prime almost 40 years old. There were only 2 weight classes at K-1. He also had big troubles against Semmy Schilt later on, who was not as powerfull as Sapp but a high skilled kickboxer. If he might landed one kick to the liver instead of low kicks it would've been over pretty soon. But that's easy to say. I mean even if you are Mr. Perfect, hitting someone with a low kick who's thighs are much bigger than yours is kind of useless.
