Today we are going to tell you about Atlas ATV - the Ukrainian all-terrain vehicle that will surprise you with its abilities. The vehicle is designed for border guards and for military use, but the developers say it may be a private off-road vehicle.
The Atlas ATV is powered by a small 1.5-liter diesel engine and it’s extremely fuel-efficient. The ATV has all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering that helps it conquer any kinds of terrain. This is one of the most capable off-road vehicles we’ve ever seen.
Unfortunately, we can’t tell you the price, but we believe it will be much more affordable than the price for any competition. This ATV is equipped with a traditional steering wheel and a manual transmission, so basically anyone can drive it.
Usually you make a car with wheels. A nice change to see tires with a car.
Haha 😂. It’s true.
😂😂😂
This comment is genius
Best comment pin this 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Seems like it was developed in the right country, for the right purpose, at the right time. Strange.
I thought the same. It could be useful to my friend who is fighting near Donetsk right now.
It’s been around for awhile
RIP Ukraine
Ukraine won the Kiev battle and just won the Kharkiv battle. The two largest Ukrainian cities. The Russian military look like a bunch of amateurs in a paintball fight. They were ranked #2 but now they’re at like 11😂
Well SHERP is from Ukraine too
Looks like a fancy enclosed copy of a sherp so yeah, probably pretty good and cool that it's potentially road legal
No wonder. Sherp was also designed in Kyiv. AFAIK atlas designers are the same people who designed Sherp. The only difference is that Sherp had few managers from russian. Atlas does not.
Built at the same factory.
It looks like the GTA-5 version of the Sherp.
@@GREATVOVA Alexei Garagashyan, designer of Sherp, is Russian. So I doubt, that Atlas was designed by him ;-) Sherp had managers from Ukraine, because Volodymyr Shkolnik bought design from Alexei and started serial production.
@@GREATVOVA Sherp was designed in Saints-Petersburg bit product in Kyiv
I wish they had more footage of the inside.
It’s said to be a military vehicle. That would mean super plain inside and basic.
@@WillF1980 unless you customised it. But I can only IMAGINE how much that would be!!!
"The process for purchasing will be just like when you buy a Bugatti car". Yep, that makes it so far out of my league as to be ridiculous.
The problem will be now how to get it out of Ukraine.
I think they mean like the Bugatti, you need to provide custom input.
The last time I bought a Bugatti it was such a hassle. I don't want to go through that again.
@@davidlindsaytroffer2801 I talked to my guy at Bugatti and he assured me that they could transfer the information over to Atlas, for a large fee. I signed up, of course.
Exiting!I think it will be joyful to drive it.
Good luck getting one of these now.
That thing looks like a lot of fun thanks for video
I want one. This is the vehicle that is needed where I live.
Wow, wasn’t expecting it to be able to swim in the water. This is a pretty cool vehicle. And a 90 hp engine!
renault engine )
Good luck getting one any time soon. How do u change a flat tire?
The condition of the roads in our city... I'm buying one!
🤣 What city?
@@eUK95 lol, any city in north America!
@@elmhurst86 haha! Same here in the UK man 🤦♂️
This look eerily similar to the green Fisher Price off-road toy van I had in the 80s.
Finally a good recommended video on my KZhead
Sherp 2.0? I dig it too! I have dreams of turning one of these into a campervan, with pop top bed, concealed/convertible bathroom & fold down/out back porch for sunrise coffee & sunset drinking. Thanks, down the rabbithole I go. 🤣
YES ITS SHERP)))
No it should be a Fat Truck. You can’t buy a Sherp any more. Guess where they were made.
THANKS FOR THE INTERIOR SHOTS
We use them at work they get stuck a lot great in slush or water but not good for medium mud
Is the tire pressure a factor?
They look like they wouldn't be hard to flip
Reminds of something you would see in a 90's film taking place in the future.
Amazing stuff bro
I'd love to drive that around it just looks cool
Basically a Sherp that can steer its wheels. Seems to steer like a bigfoot too which is nice for this type of vehicle.
It's a small, all terrain, troop transport. In the same vein as the fictional APC used by the CMC (Aliens 1986). Good idea.
Great vid👍
The windshield is a flat piece of glass. I like it.
Really cool design ... and it floats! Might want a wider wheel-base to reduce risk of rollover. The small diesel engine is a good choice -- plenty of torque and low maintenance.
A copy of the Russian Sherp.
@@Andrew-df4ru Sherp is Ukrainian as well...(Well a Russian/Ukrainian partnership)
@@justicar5 Be not stupid. Sherp is Russian product.
@@justicar5 Gagarin is American kosmonaut, Adam and Eva are American citizens. Edem is located in Washington. The whole world laugh at your education level. A, Biden is 18 year old.

I swear to god if I had any kind of decent money this would be in my drive way. THIS is the only way I would go camping.
Yes, and it’s easier to escape cryptids like dogman if you encounter one in the woods
Why is camping so unappealing to you that this is the only way you would do it? What exactly does this vehicle change about camping?
@@sir_john_hammond It changes my chances of not dying on a camping trip.
@@Shadowcub69 how? Thing looks tippy af.
@@Shadowcub69 a big gun'll do that too
Sherpa redesigned western style. Are you guys building them in the USA yet?
Ukrainian. Guess we won’t be seeing many of these any time soon. Cool rig though.
As soon as he said "the company is located in Ukraine". I thought if I'd ordered one last year, they might have been sending me an email saying 'the vehicle you ordered is now being used by the Russian army and we have no idea if or when they might return it:.
Hard to tell how big it is. The proportions are so funny.
It's huge.
I ordered one but my purchase was delayed. For some reason odd production has been stopped.
Wow. This would be great in low lying areas that flood and/or in areas where the snow gets really deep making one not being able to get out should the need arise.
Imagine driving this late at night, and you run into a Sasquatch.
Suddenly not as scary anymore, just run over him.
Sasquatch may drive them
I pre ordered it on amazon 😳🤣✌️🍺🇺🇸
Amazing!!!
I'm ordering one NOW!!!
So cute it looks like a character from the movie Cars.
One very cool looking ATV. I wonder what maintenance is required every 800 hours? An oil change?
800 hours, as per the video, you'd have done 4 oil changes.
Looks like something the “Banana Splits” would drive.
Это супер . Машина будущего .👈
They said "Let's take a Stomper 4X4 and make it real sized."
It feels like it would rollover easily.
It looks that way, yes. However despite it's shape, the center of gravity is extremely low. It'd be really difficult to flip it even if you were trying to do so.
I was going to say, it looks like it was going to roll over, right before the camera cut away? It looked like it was going to tip over in the intro at 0:27?
Only if you're driving fast.
@@mojrimibnharb4584 you are definitely no physicist sir.
@@mojrimibnharb4584 It doesn't drive fast, 40 mph top speed.
This thing is awesome. I could never afford one. Lol. But I’d like to. Even just going grocery shopping. This would be my every day car. Lol
This looks like something out of a Star Wars movie. I need it.
Is it bullet proof? (Hood version)
Does it run on AA or AAA batteries ?
stolen from SHERP
In case U don't know, Sherp also was designed in Ukraine. And Atlas has completely different construct.
@@hennadiiminskyi6088 dont tell different design, Say its an upgrad, or modifed sherp
Same people. No stolen. 🇺🇦
Ukraine has other things on their plate at the moment, sorting out arguments amongst the uninformed isn’t one of them.
At 1:33, they answered your claim already. You need to watch the whole video before you comment.
Looks cute in a way
good handling
Pretty cool. Seems easy to flip over though. I wont be able to afford the replacement tires alone!
It cannot be flipped over. I asked atlas producers about it when saw them on exhibition in Kyiv last year.
I agree. If you hit the throttle at the wrong moment, I'm guessing it will flip.
Can I choose an automatic transmission
I’ve seen few along side the I-44 in MO
That was mine and it was a Fat Truck.
GHE-O is also something that deserves our atention…
The Atlas ATV company should consider moving to the U.S. This vehicle would sell here, especially, in the southern states where there are many outdoor enthusiasts.
They could sell a bunch of these up north in Minnesota for hunting and winter rescue operations. I wonder how good the heater works? Hell it's big enough you could pop in a little woodstove! I like this machine.
I agree.
Quiero uno !!!!!
Wow, 12 people capacity! Didn't think it would fit THAT many!!!
If I was Sherpa I'd be contacting my lawyers
I will wait for the Electric in-line motor all wheel drives for this.
yeah that would be sweet
The batteries would be too heavy above the COG if you want to maintain the 24" clearance. This configuration would be impossible for an electric. I would not want to get stranded when the batteries die, you could freeze to death or starve in the middle of nowhere. Diesel is hard to beat on one of these.
@@bobbrenna9507 i think the Green Hydrogen/Fuel Cell combination and Higher battery densities are fast catching up. Thx. for your reply, I never thought about the weight though.
So cute. I WANT ONE.
Love the original Sherp tho 😇🙏🏼
Look at the Fat Truck, so much more plus you can’t buy a Sherp anymore. Guess where they were made….
@@4by4squared88 they were made in Kyiv. And atlas is new Sherp.
Pretty cool!
I wonder if Car Max has any on their lot?
I like it.
Is that a larger Sherp?
That engine choice is... Interesting.
It's all about torque and gearbox. This thing can't go faster then 60 kph or so.
The tire is the backbone of this thing.
That is a nice ATV
Standard US commercial : 30 seconds of actual content, run in a loop 20 times.
Sherp is one of the best . If not a great design
How many gallons per mile does it get?
This thing is huge IRL.
So what is the Base price?
I placed My, "LADA" on old snowmobile. 🐈
Amazing vehicle
Looks like the vehicle from the old tv show "Lost in Space." Danger, Will Robinson!
Perfect vehicle for the zombie apocalypse. Good protection, room for friends and weapons and you can stay off the main roads when needed (because its harder for zombies to keep up on rough terrain)😁
Is the zombie apocalypse shtick still a thing?
@@randomv3iwer Nah, for a zombie apocalypse to actually take place they would have to inject you full of a nanotech self assembling synthetic nervous system to override the natural one in your body, then put a WiFi chip into you to act as a brainstem that'll be connected to a 5G infrastructure in which Artificial Intelligence would be able to remote control you from. It'll never happen. ;-)
Actually if they are getting signal from a 5G tower or satellite signal they'd more than keep up. They'd be fast movers not effected by pain or muscle strain, and their own eyes would be like surveillance cameras for all the others connected to the 5G/AI control grid.
nah.. any damage to those tires and you're fucked. good luck finding replacements.
Gamma Goat. US Army circa 1979
Whichever is cheaper-- sherp or this Atlas-- is my FAVORITE.
Man I want one ☝🏼
This HILARIOUS!!!!
I can see someone from the US getting one & figuring a way to swap a big V8 in it.
Or a Cummins R2.8 diesel with 161 hp.
Mo powa babeh
' what country made this both black / white ATV cars
I was gonna buy one of these. But there didn't appear to be any statement about the number of cupholders. NO SALE!
A 4000 pound vehicle carrying 12 average size men, with only 90 HP, I would think that little 1.5L diesel is working its tail off. Maybe it's "adequate " but I would want something more powerful. I believe the Sherpa torque rating is only around 140 lb ft. Also uses a 1.5L diesel.
Yeah I was thinking that. But also remember it's geared fora top speed of 60mph
@@thetechlibrarian 40 mph for this one.
Makes me wonder about the feasibility of an electric drivetrain in one of these.

Wider lower smaller sleeker for the elites bed bar sunroof
Well im going to order it right now
MAN! one of these just a little bigger than a full sized van insulated with a bed in the back to live in.
how high can it operate... can climb mount Everest 3 quarters of the way at least? Also, does it operate at low temperatures like Antarctica or the south pole? if it is stuck does it have retractable helicopter-like rotor blades to fly for a short time l or even drone-like fans for a short burst? if not there is clearly room for improvements. I ' rather wait for the finished product.
Ты че самолет покупаешь или подводную лодку ?)))))
Wanna have the bulletproof 6x6 version of that
Looks like a Mars Rover , I think it's on the Wrong Planet. lol
if it can keep up with traffic it would be a great vanlife vehicle
How much does it cost
Interesting concept, but a nice Yamaha grizzly or Suzuki king quad will take me anywhere I need to go, fit in more trails, is way more lightweight, faster and can do all kinds of work very reliably, and won’t tip over super easy.
@@Alexestpersonne dude people take their quads through super deep shit all the time. Also I don’t expect to ever have to cross a lake? How is that necessary?
