In this video, we'll compare the 2 coolest offroad expedition vehicles in the world i.e Atlas ATV versus Sherp ATV. Atlas is from Ukraine and Sherp is from Russia but with its headquarters located in Ukraine. Both All Terrain vehicles are Amphibious ATVs and can move on any terrain including Water, mud, swamps, Rocks, and more.
Sherp ATV and Atlas ATV are two distinct types of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) designed to operate in extreme conditions, including challenging terrains such as ice, mud, water, and snow. Both of these ATVs are built with unique features that make them ideal for use in various industries, including oil and gas, mining, search and rescue, and military operations.
The Sherp ATV is a Russian-made ATV designed to operate in harsh terrain conditions. The Sherp ATV has a unique design that allows it to float on water, climb over obstacles as high as 70 cm, and maintain a high degree of stability on any surface. This ATV has four massive wheels, each measuring over 1.5 meters in diameter, that can be inflated or deflated to suit various terrains. The Sherp ATV is powered by a 1.5-liter diesel engine that provides ample torque to drive it over any terrain.
The Atlas ATV, on the other hand, is a Ukrainian -made ATV designed to operate in challenging terrains. The Atlas ATV is built with a durable steel frame and has a high ground clearance, which makes it suitable for use in areas with rocks and boulders. This ATV is also designed to operate in deep water, as it has a waterproof engine and electrical components. The Atlas ATV has a four-wheel-drive system that provides excellent traction on any terrain, making it suitable for use in search and rescue operations.
Both Sherp ATV and Atlas ATV have unique features that make them ideal for use in various applications. However, the Sherp ATV has a more unconventional design and is better suited for operations in extreme conditions, such as the Arctic tundra, while the Atlas ATV is better suited for use in rocky terrain and deep water. Ultimately, the choice of which ATV to use will depend on the specific requirements of the task at hand.

  • Sherp also has Ukrainian origin. However, Sherp was focused on the russian market, so he had a second office there. Sherp models for the european market continued to be assembled in Ukraine. Atlas (compared to Sherp): steering wheel instead of levers; more powerful, standard engine; gear instead of chain; higher speed; large elevation angles (up to 45 degrees); longer service interval (due to the absence of chain drives)

  • The design fo this type of ATV is not from Ukraine. Give kudoes where it is due. The Sherp was orginally designed by a Russian Engineer for use the extreme terrain of the Tundra and Siberia. It was tested and terrain hardened for Russian markets. Atlas is a variant of the original Sherpa idea. It has some improvements given how much technoloigy has progressed and Ukraine's access to European markets. Dont bring geo politics into product reviews.

  • This must be an AI generated video. The narrative sucks. The comparison is horrible, it's like someone just googled some basic stats and compared them. Everyone knows at this point that SHERP is horrible in the cold. Yes it works but the occupants would freeze as the heater is very bad. Also the searing is bad. You wouldn't know that though if you didn't even research the topic.
