@kevinkasp Ryan is no slouch, that's are selling Ryan way too high. Floyd vs Judah, Pacquiao vs Cotto, Mosley vs De La Hoya, all were way closer to the 80's classic bouts than this. Then there's the Floyd, Castillo, Corrales showdowns and the Marquez, Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera showdows, all HoF, classic bouts.
I believe he can beat Haney if he stay focus and patient.

Ryan basically learned from this fight and used it against Haney. Caught Haney early similar to how Tank caught him early, then its cruise control from there. Although, Ryan actually landed right punches, good jabs that made Tank think Ryan was the best he fought after the fight. Tank's coach eliminated the left hook, great plan to take out the left hook by scoring with the early counter that dropped Ryan. By 7th round Ryan was gassed, that body shot hit his injured side and he was gassed and dehydrated, no reason to keep going. Smart decision, live and fight another day.

This was like watching a cobra (with lightning-speed strikes) going against a mongoose (whose reflexes are even faster). Garcia would strike, but Davis dodged and countered before Garcia could jump back. The mongoose jumps out of the way of the cobra, strikes back before the cobra can recoil, and in the end kills the cobra.

Ryan garcía is constantly out of position and Davis makes him pay for it. Even against Oscar, Garcia was always out of position after throwing punches making him vulnerable. Maybe Abel Sanchez should train Garcia who trained GGG, if you watch GGG he was rarely out of position.

The difference in Ryan is the side to side movement. And the uppercut. Ryan looked really skinny in this fight. If they fight at 144-143. It will be much closer. But Tank is a masterful defensive fighter and devastating counter puncher. You miss and over commit, you pay bigtime.I'd stay away if I'm Ryan.
