please tell your boss block all dealer markup price 15 k to 35 k price .
If you order the car dealer can't mark up the price because you are getting the car direct from factory. I know because I order my cars an never got mark up price where I live.

I talked to Toyota corporate about it. They said they will let dealers do what they want because msrp is just “suggested.”
@@mannyphantom7323 usually takes 3 to 4 weeks normally but with everything being slow might take a little longer. I had to wait 2 month for my 2022 4runner to get delivered to dealer before I was able to pick it up.
@@americandude3825 While ordering your car you let them know you don't want anything added on other then what you've discussed. Usually a good dealer won't try to add extra stuff on but it's always a good idea to let them know.
As someone who owned the gen 1 sequoia, and owns the gen two….this one looks nice but really fails where Toyota Sequoia used to shine. This has lost about 35 cubic feet on the interior. It’s barely got more room inside now than the current 4Runner. It costs $21000 more than my same trim level of my gen two. Mike Sweers wanted to keep it “garabeable” so he didn’t make it a competitor with the suburban and Yukon XL…ya now it’s got way less cargo room. The second row doesn’t slide anymore. So if you slide the third row forward for cargo room, the third row passengers lose ALL of their leg room against the back of the second row… As a sales gimmic, it’s not offered with the ttv6, without the hybrid platform. It could be $5000 less if it didn’t have the hybrid only option. My 08 5.7L has 206k trouble free miles. I will keep it for 200k more until the next Sequoia refresh because this thing…is just a 4Runner XL not made for families or cargo.

Toyota needs to make extended length Sequoias like forever now since the last gen of Sequoias. People would definitely buy em & switch over from Expedition ELs, Suburbans, Yukon XLs, & Escalade ESVs.

We need a good local dealer here in Grants Pass Oregon. Loved the previous Toyota dealership (the salesperson I used for previous purchases left after dealership was sold), but now will drive to the next county or simply buy another brand unless local dealer changes ownership and improves service department.
The all new Sequoia is awesome! One thing that you can do is add an extended wheelbase version to compete with the Chevrolet Suburban.

The engineer said he wants to make sure it fix it’s a garage. As far as cargo it sucks hardcore. The redesign is 30 cubic feet smaller than the second gen. It’s almost the same interior as the current 4Runner. They really effed it up bad.

@@Fryingpan1000 I actually like how the Seqouia line has had a shorter wheel base all this time; easier to turn and park, and I can hide it in a garage, having to rarely need going for a trip to the car wash

For those curious: Price increase $11k from 2022. 4wd gets 20mpg. Only 3 more mpg hwy than my second gen. Interior is 35 cubic feet smaller. Second row doesn’t move anymore. Third row has minimal leg room and decreased cargo. To add cargo slide third row into back second second row. Now third row passengers have no room. This was not designed to appeal to sequoia lovers. It was to take sales from ford and gm. My 02 and 08 sequoias are way better than this thing except for the creature comforts. RIP TOYOTA SEQUOIA
They were planning to stop making the Seqouia line this year until one of the head designers in Toyota USA said his wife wanted a Sequoia

It’s 30 cubic feet smaller than the 2008-2022 models. It’s the size of the 4Runner Interior now. They made it pretty to try to hide its inability to function as a family vehicle. The second gen is way better.

Amazing job Toyota. My only wish was that some of the Capstone features were available as add-ons for TRD (Interior lighting, HUD, Ventilated rear seat, leg extention) or ability to give capstone the TRD exterior look.

Dealers jacking prices up way over msrp.
This vehicle is very nice. But inside quality is very very cheap. Specially front seat sides. Crack's after 5k mile. Other sides also cracks with little tension. I am regrading buying this vehicle.
You need to keep a tighter leash on your network of dealerships Toyota. $15k markups 4Runner TRD Pros, $20k markups for GR Corollas, $5k "dealer adjustments" for GR86, and now $10k to $30k markups for the new Sequoia. You make amazing, reliable vehicles Toyota, but your dealerships are ruining your products by making them inaccessible for anyone who's neither rich or stupid.

The most catastrophic suv redesign to date. It’s an absolute laughing stock in the large suv space Significantly Shrunken interior, unusable cargo space, no independent rear suspension for better packaging or better ride / handling balance and it’s overpriced Dead on arrival. It’s rivals obliterate this joke. You can’t redesign an suv with pathetic specs and call it competitive. This failed to impress and it’s a last place suv. No one came away impressed or wowed. In fact the vast majority of people were severely disappointed
