  • I use it for Super 35 mode. So if I’m at 200mm and need that extra reach I hit the button and pull in to 300mm.

  • hi, at last, i found you , .. am on a6500,,,70,,,350 ..am just getting into wildlife birds ..so I am setting up memory 1 and 2 for perched birds and birds in flight ..how can I use the fh button for birds in flight and free up my memory 2 in-camera for another scenario ..so basically the fh button becomes memory 3 .without using the card as memory 3 ..hope that makes sense ..my silver hair cant get my head around it .thanks ..

  • I have the Sony Fe 2.8 70-200 GM OSS. When I set the lens (physical setting on the actual lens) to MF Manual Focus, and use the focus ring, the camera zooms in rapidly. However, when I take the picture, the camera reverts back to when it was not zoomed. How do I get it to take the picture while it's zoomed in? I am using Sony A7III with the lens.

    • That isn't a zoom that's for assisting with focus. Another commenter on this video mentioned seeing super 35 on the custom button which gives a little zoom at the expense of resolution

    • Nope, they're all the same function. It's just so that when you go from landscape to portrait mode you'd still have a button under your thumb of the left hand :)

  • hello, i use it for subject detection, but when i push all 3 buttons are doing the same thing so how i can make each buttons different things?

  • Aaaand what is the G button doing if you make No customization? How to use it? Does it help in AF, and in which AF mode?

  • I set it to eye AF it will stop the focus box jumping from eye to all face and back randomly, so it will keep the green box thingy on the eyeball.

    • Try to remount the lens, maybe some pins weren't connected properly...
