  • My takeaway from this is that it was the rigth choice to buy the megane instead. Faster in the 1000km test, better infotainment that doesn’t freeze, not dictatorship built and it’s even slightly cheaper to buy… It seems that having high top charging speed is negated by the high consumption in the Brabus. By the way I think many hasn’t realized that Ionity is cheaper than circle K yet. Circle K cost 5,49 sek/kwh with no subscription. Ionity used to be above 7 kr/kwh for drop-in.

  • I drove the #1 Brabus for around 2 months (4000km, in summer )as a free loaner from smart Germany because the delivery of my car took longer. The Brabus really is thirsty. I averaged it around 23kwh with mixed roads (50/30/20 | city/country/Autobahn). My #1 premium sits at 16kwh. That is quite significant! The Brabus would never do above 300km per charge in my case. The premium easily does 400km per charge with around 4% to spare. Such a weird and massive difference. I also always drove the Brabus in comfort mode, used Brabus Mode in the beginning because it really is a lot of fun 😊 I will get the #3 premium as a loaner on May 13th '24 because my car has software issues which need to be fixed. I'm quite curious about the consumption on that Model. Great video as always, Bjorn!

  • Don’t have too much expectations of the EX30 when you get it. I’ve had the EX30P for a week now and the route planner is VERY basic, super disappointed at that! The car lacks a lot of features e.g the mirrors do not dip when put in reverse, the radio volume when you start the car is insanely loud and has to be adjusted every time, the steps in the volume are way too big so it’s almost impossible to find the right volume, Pilot Assist is quite nervous and too much ping pong for my taste, the car throttles the power already around 21% (maybe even earlier, have to verify this) and i found it dangerously weak when accelerating to the motorway, regen is too weak for my taste and starts working after the battery is less than 90-95% etc etc. I am expecting a lot of updates and will be very disappointed if there is not. Apple CarPlay should come week 16 according to my dealer. I’m hoping it was not a mistake not getting the iX1 instead…😔It drives well and is comfortable, maybe even a bit too soft for my taste, seat side support are too soft, it’s fairy quite, rear seat is small and smaller inside than my i3s that i had, side mirrors are quite small too and not easy to adjust due to no dedicated buttons.

The dealership contacted me end of January and told me the situation with production as Volvo had shut down production because of the Houthi attacking shipping in the Red Sea and also this major software re-write which would push my delivery date back to the end of July. By chance the dealership was sent one too many demonstrators in February in the colour and interior I’d ordered but with extended range so they offered it to me, which I decided to accept. So… maybe May/June delivery may well be pushed back a little?

      @flolin8766@flolin87662 ай бұрын
    • @@flolin8766 no that's simply not true. Permanent magnet synchronous motors (as in this smart) do need energy also while not in use. Otherwise they would start to recuperate (with obvious energy loss). That's why most higher trim EVs need much more energy than the "smaller" ones.
