Damn, this is one awesome epic song! John Waite is such a fantastic vocalist. Everything in this song works so well, an unqualified classic and a band that deserves a much larger audience.

Saw these Babys open for Styx in 1980. Can barely remember the fresh feeling of an under-produced concert. Back then it was about the music.

Ok, this is how old I am, 😆. My friend and I went to see the Babys tape a Mike Douglas show here in Vegas at what was then the Hilton Hotel in 1978. I was 15. After the show, we got to meet them all because they were all gambling, and it was hard to miss super-tall Mike Corby, or John Waite's flaming hair! Got all of their autographs and got a kiss from Mike 💋. So cool growing up in Vegas 😉

That's how I am with my podcast show (on hiatus from it for a bit!)...I would have to "get in my right mind" to go to broadcast...LOL! My show is so dark and foreboding...I couldn't do it sober because I'm typically a positive person...Besides, I don't think sobriety has given near the inspiration that non-sobriety has! Look at the Romantic Era poets for example...Samuel Coleridge could have never dreamed the glory of Xanadu and the lands of Kubla Khan without the nudge of Demeter herself
