PLAID DYED LEATHER - One Piece Leather Card Wallet - Leather Craft

In this leather craft video I make a wooden jig designed to help create the look of a plaid pattern on the exterior of a simple leather card wallet. The wallet itself is made from one single piece of 1.5mm thick vegetable tanned leather that is cut, folded and stitched together. The folded leather creates two interior pockets which both allow for a large capacity of cards to be held inside. I hope you find this video & method of dying leather interesting and that you would be inspired to try a plaid dying technique on your next leather project.
