The scene when he took out the owner of the Pawn shop. A very dirty owner.

  • I like how the bad guys in The Punisher are different than your regular Marvel movie bad guys. They're not just foot soldiers following orders or dealing in smuggling or stuff like that; you can feel these guys are rotten to the core (especially this one right here). That's why you can't help but feel they deserved to be put down permanently and as brutally as possible, because a punch in the face from Captain America or Black Widow would just be too generous....

    @divaalfirman3295@divaalfirman32953 жыл бұрын
    • For sure. The Punisher touches base on the darker side of life (reality) that effects the every day person instead of some over glorified super hero stuff. Love Captain America but Frank Castle appeals more to the every day person. He is the darker side of what some of us wish we were.

    • This was in the 2nd season of Daredevil, which is honestly one of the best live action Marvel products period, in movies or TV. It’s sharp, mature and takes itself very seriously with ramifications that feel real and grounded. If you haven’t seen the show yet, I’d highly recommend it. My only criticism is that the seasons can run a little long sometimes, 13 episodes per. But since when is more content a net negative anyway?

  • I actually saw great significance in this scene in painting a picture of The Punisher’s moral compass. You’d expect heroes the likes of Captain America and even Spider-Man putting a beatdown or subduing criminals selling stolen property. The Punisher is a different breed - he can overlook the petty crimes but the more horrendous crimes he sees as capital crimes and that’s where viewers get to see why he’s called the Punisher.

    • Poor examples as those crossovers are cheesy and written expressively for Batman. If you look at actual training, combat experience and feats you will see Punisher is far superior to Batman in every way short of hand to hand; here Batman has an edge but not by much. Batman is just way over-hyped now; has been since the Animated Series. He is about as inhuman as a human has ever been in any comic. Punisher is also far easier to relate too ... combat vet who lost his family vs a ultra-wealthy ninja-assassin-trained super-genius. Sorry, have a hard time seeing anything actually relatable about Batman. Batman is good only because of his Rogue Gallery, without them ... he'd suck.

    • Daredevil lost in their first encounter, only time Castle lost handily was on the boat and at that point Frank was clearly unwilling to harm Matt and was seriously conflicted. Batman was great when he was the Sherlock Holmes of DC, but when they decided to put him in the same league as Wonder Woman and Superman- they ruined him IMO. Other than PIS, on paper- Frank should be at minimum equal to Bruce; but Batman these days is OP Batgod wank material.

    • @@ambushalliance9737 So you just like gore and violence, not actually seeing a character grow? You guys do realize that the fact that Frank is being the Punisher is because he's choosing to drown into resentment, anger and bitterness instead of grieveing his dead family and try to start a new life? Is this the life example you tell me I should follow?

  • As odd as it is, this is one of my favorite scenes for Frank. It truly shows his character, in my opinion, and circles around the fact that he really is a good person. He only hurts those who are in the need for it and would never harm a child or anyone as innocent as. Really love this character!

  • This is why I love the Punisher, he doesn't follow the trend that all heroes must do good things all the time. This dude is an anti-hero which is usually so much better. They do things for the greater good that are in the grey area sometimes even in the black. If you are evil or do evil acts like child pornography, he takes a bat to him. Pedophilia to me is the worst crime imaginable to me, pedophiles DESERVE TO DIE.

    • Exactly. Rape and pedophilia are the worst crimes and the people who commit those two 100% deserve whatever happens to them. That's why anti-heroes are the most entertaining characters because like heroes, they have morality, but the only difference between the two is they have the balls to do something about it. Daredevil's rehabilitation argument is completely flawed and Frank was right to call Murdock out on his BS. Would love to see Matt defend this scum's right to live. ☠️

      @ambushalliance9737@ambushalliance97372 жыл бұрын
    • No one deserves to die as no one deserves to live. People just do that. But pedophiles must not be tolerable by society. They should be rejected, whether it is a moral thing to do. Some crimes are unforgivable, but you have to prove it first.
