that tablesaw cut is a goodway to lose a finger. do not press the wood into the fence and adjust while making cuts. that motion can lead to kickback. respect the tool before you end up with nubs
My exact thought and reaction wtf!
Agreed
Crazy, a few seconds work isn’t worth a finger (or four)
My dude, its edited to look like that, he actually did the cuts properly.
@@firstnamelastname6271 That's even worse. people watching the video might get the idea that you can adjust the fence mid cut
Do not follow any saw use examples from this video. That homemade mitre saw is terrifyingly dangerous.
Exactly what I was thinking. That's thing is asking for a really bad injury.
My channel
The first table saw vid I was thinking the same thing
When using any cutting implement NEVER cut towards your hand like this guy does.
I was about to say the same thing!
After 40 years as a Carpenter I can safely say some people should not be allowed near any sort of tool whatsoever.
These videos are horrible. The Cringe runs deep.
There's always someone like this strutting around in the comments 😄
@@fclefjefff4041 yeah..someone with sense...go be a pussy somewhere else
As not a carpenter I know these “tricks” are 95% garbage
@@PeteGoode what about the otgerv5%?
I'm convinced they lock these people in a room with tools, all kinds of random supplies, and a camera and say "film every weird thing you can come up with"
I believe that would be something that could happen for real
👋
"yes master"
@@tukangblink5899 👅
Um. Planning and self-discipline preceed skill building, not haphazard and randomness. Sometimes we don't know when the muse of creativity might hit, but I won't occur outside of some stints of hard work as well.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Applies to a lot here 😅
Some people were born with the talent of, making DIY look practical. Some of it is, the rest...... well, isn't. 🤦♂️
Why?
hi
@@seanp9157 you could louse a finger or two in the process
@@MARTIN201199 in the process of what? That's true working with any tool, and up to you to make sure all safety measures are implemented. I didnt see one thing that's egregiously dangerous. That's why asked that, but didnt get an answer. You replied, but then didn't tell us what was so dangerous in your eyes. If there is, by all means share it. Nobody wants to see anyone get hurt!
The old rule holds good. Do not cut towards your hand, especially if using a razor sharp Japanese pull saw.
On several occasions I winced at how close they came to losing a finger. Some very dangerous practices in this video.
Let's take a moment to appreciate the absolute state of the board on the right half being completely crooked at 2:57
Yes! It was fine until he drilled it….why bother?
LOL
@@KorraTheFrenchie apparently he wanted that open gap, perhaps?!!?
Whoever said it was a nice tips n trick, must have never work with wood before.
Idk, wood velcro sounds useful af, ya know, like leather socks
@@freedblowfish3705 hahahahaha nice joke pal
I love how the caption goes "PERFECT!" when the joint they are demonstrating is obviously sloppy like shit.

No vacuum when glueing!! You want the glue in the vacuum filter?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I highly doubt they're using a filter just a shop vac full of glue, saw dust, bits of nails, chucks of wood ..potentially fingers along with other safety equipment hell the shop vac might have a saw or angle grinder...fork?.. attached to it to "fix" some sort of problem .we'll find out next video with probably an even worse song
What was exactly what I was thinking
Seriously... They sell glue syringes for this exact reason.
Dang boy, nasty gaps, crooked joints, and OSHA nightmares, all in one video great job.
0.30 - the guy has his finger almost on his table saw blade. Insane.
My favorite is the wood glass table. You score some wood, glob way too much stain on with the wrong brush, then place glass on top with no way to fasten it there. Table. Also do not cut toward your hands. That's like toddler level safety bud. Do not do anything this guy did with power tools as they are literally how to lose limbs.
and the best part is some lady in lululemon clothes bought it for $800, lol
Here you got everything: from nice tricks, basic knowledge, repeating content to overcomplicated or utterly useless/bad advice.
hallo
I'm gonna have nightmares about that makeshift miter saw
I enjoyed this video because I have little wood working experience. I guess everyone else's wood working should be of your caliber. Where can I find videos of your techniques and advice?
Someone teach me the "deflate and reinflate the wood" trick lmfao
@@maus6967 See, when mommy and daddy love each other very, very much...
I, too, like to make joints so loose that I can see daylight through them. Them’s called expansion joints, useful in areas of extremely high temperatures, extremely high humidity, and extremely low visibility.
No safety on the table saw 😬
Got to 2:15 before seeing anything useful that I haven't already seen a hundred times. That's actually a pretty clever way to quickly make a bunch of matching tenons without having a tablesaw jig.
hi
Perfect, perfect, perfect. I could not make any of these joints perfect, I don't have that skill; but none of these are even close to perfect. Junior high carpentry kids can do better than this
I'm probably spoiled by some of the woodworking channels here on YT, but I was surprised some of the joints in this compilation were deemed good enough to show others.
Wood n trees are cutting down every moment, this piece of wood you making, just imagine how many years it took to grow up just to that small size itself. Save Trees🌲🌳🌴 save Life, please🙏
Shut up, the company he bought that from probably plants more trees than any of these save the trees initiatives
What kind of mustard is that you use on the wood?
Wtf? Sure are a lot of extra steps here.
Your wood working skills need a lot of work.
Most of it is ridiculous. That orbital sanding pad holder, though? Genius. I have recently realized a problem with mine being all over the place. Definitely making something to hold all the grits i need, labeled, and maybe a slot to slide the old ones into.
I love people who are brave like you. I have been trolled once and that is enough. You have literally just solved 2 problems that I have been debating for the last 2 weeks so thank you very much. oh ill subscribe now
Which problems?
@@CLove511 A childhood tree was claimed by high winds. I asked for a slice of the trunk. That 8 inch trunk was now more Ike 2 ft. I was very disappointed when it dried and cracked way wider then I expected. When I saw your video I was delighted at the solution, brilliant, thanks.
На каждом стыке зазоры и щели.. На залипательный перфекционизм не тянет.. В целом норм...
I wish talented people skilled in woodcraft or other minor artistry are appreciated in the same way as it is done in western countries. In my country India, such people barely manage to earn enough to ensure two time meal a day. Although, here even doctors are not appreciated, engineers left the league a decade ago, PhD scholars struggle for job and teachers are underpaid. So, a wild dream for us may be.
🥱 go away kid get a life, people ain't here for your politics
100 percent of those joints can best be described (using purely technical terms) as kinda gappy.
I'm sitting here like, "Do other woodworkers just fill in their gaps with filler, or are those just...
Always remember to cut TOWARDS your hand.
Fingertips are evidence of a novice.
the barbed connection is where i lost it all🤦♂🤦♂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me watching this video: yeesh, I have little experience woodworking, I shouldn't be so negative with my mental narrative. Me reading the comments: I'm quite kind and clearly have more experience than this person.
Best ideo ever for wood working tips
Miter saw blade teeth are angled differently than a regular blade to prevent kick backs because of how it cuts the wood. His miter saw is just plain dangerous like a lot of other “tips”. Please take down for public safety. Also 1/8 gaps aren’t “perfect”
That's good idea you can use magnets to make locks I hadn't thought about that
A magnet on the end of a dowel, for holding a nail in place while hammering. Seems like a good hack. Saves fingers.
As much as I absolutely love the music, I wish there was more explanation in this video.
All the explanation you need is this video is 95% nonsense
Shit music non sense video
I honestly was really impressed
You should probably keep that to yourself.
I also have a useful woodworking tip. At 0:40, sand with the wood grain. Cool video
Some of this is just down right dangerous
Ай ай ну умничка просто, детишек развлекать самое то
Have you seen how close your hand to the saw was....
A really nice mix of cool ideas and bat sh!# crazy.
I dig the music!

Just wanna point out that while a couple things from this were good, they don’t necessarily show reality or good faith. The fork thing as an example. Didn’t need to do the fork at all on that second shot, it was already lifted enough for a bar
Ingenious!
Hi good work job in Pakistan
everything is perfect
I wish I had this much free time.
I came for the woodworking but stayed for the music 🎵 🎶

When you realize there's no actual legitimate use for any of these techniques and will mostly like end up harming you

"I'm doing weird things with horrible gaps, cracks, etc. I also try to play dangerous games with one of the most dangerous tools, circular saws" Well, at least in half of the "tips and life hacks"

Love the orbital sander sheets jig!

Old school woodworking Dovetail, and wood pegs tongue and groove etc.
Great ideas. However , if my carpentry lecturer saw you use a saw like that, omg you would never be allowed to use one again.
Прикольно мне понравилось
Don't know why this appeared on my feed but damn, this is so satisfying!
👋
Some of these things are cool things done in a hurry. Alot of them are good ways to loose a finger.
Perfect
@0:01 the magnetic dowels would be a cool lock for a secret drawer or something
I feel guilty clicking and watching part of this, it feeds them. 😅
If it is this therapeutic to watch, I can't even imagine how satisfied this craftsman is actually doing it.
Kerjaan dan tiorinya trampil sekali ,om salam kenal dan salam sukses ya ,, ⭐⭐
Super projekty 👽👍
Залипательное видео!!! В конце вопрос зачем я это посмотрел )
Number 4 is the perfect way to lose fingers, hands and such
Super 👏👏
Everyone remember to leave a thumbs down, and try not to comment because that boosts the video.
Wow amazing wood art... Watching here from Philippines I wish I can also have all the equipment that you use in your shop... Good luck and god bless.
Not his shop 5 minute crafts shop lol
Watching the tenon split at @5:11 is hilarious.

It looks cool and all but when would ever need any of this
Mind - why are you watching it. Eyes- shut up and just keep watching.
Большинство моментов красиво да, НО не прочно, как мебельщик скажу

*joinery exists* The internet: “These wood hacks are incredible.
This is very silly but entertaining
Good job bro
Amazing
WowSome !
"Wood is uncoiling back in hot water"????????!? 🤯 Yo bro...I have NEVER seen wood with those properties! That HAS to be a joke or something.
A lot of it was borderline ridiculous but that absolutely sent me, there are sponges you can't do that to lmao
No it was real, but I'm not sure which wood works best. There are some very rare and niche circumstances where boiling wood to make it soft is useful. I think there is a mallet designed by/associated with Abraham Lincoln where this technique is used. edit: i was mistaken about the mallet but I know I've seen the boiling water technique used before! The mallet is still fascinating tho lol
Great job teaching people how to saw off their fingers.
5:15 is mind blowing 😮😮😮😦
Craftsmanship and quality
So nice
Finally a good use to Uno cards.

I sticked to watch whole video just to hear the songs
wow, that are some loose joints. enough said, apreciate the effort, but man you have to find another job
Can someone help decipher what the first one was supposed to be showing? Like yes he put magnets on the them so they were Attracted what am I supposed to do with that info tho
Nice job 👍
Wish I have tools like yours :/
Great video
most smooth , most accurate and most satisfying ever! nobody talk about it?

Классно!!!

Абсолютно все забитые гвозди в видео, были криво забиты😁😁😁 ну а вилка как гвоздодер, это просто верх инженерии)))))
