Ciao Andrew, ho ricevuto qualche giorno fa il Book4 pro da 16". Sono d'accordo con le tue opinioni, è un pò caro ma è fantastastico come design e le prestazioni, almeno per me, sono davvero soddisfacenti. Display forse il migliore sul mercato, ottima batteria, silenziosissimo. Con una buona offerta ho preso sul sito samsung Italia a € 1411. Ottimo affare. Il wifi 7 è interessante ma al momento non credo sia tanto importante... non condivido la moda del touchpad enorme in stile macbook, non capisco l'utilità...serve sempre il mouse per poter lavorare comodo con AutoCad e software simili, un touch più piccolo non sarebbe un problema per me. Speravo in un audio un pò più performante, non è male ma si poteva fare qualcosa in più. Penso pure che ormai ci dobbiamo abituare alla ram saldata, vendo sempre più pc con questa soluzione. Credo che nei prossimi mesi ci saranno aggiornamenti e perfezionamenti al bios o al microcode della CPU che faranno aumentare le performance e l'efficienza, ci sono ancora margini. Ovvio che se si cerca un pc con potenza bruta bisogna guardare altro, a discapito della leggerezza, del design e della batteria. Questa serie di laptop a mio avviso sono di "rappresentanza" , per chi mette al primo posto il design senza avere troppe rinunce. Very good review thanks, new subscriber 🙂 ! Your Audio was fine and the Video was OK. I have the book3 pro 360 but won't updagre to book4 360. Not enough improvements and single/multi core performance still as mediocre as book 3 pro 360. Not doing any graphics so I cannot judge video performance improvement. Nevertheless I love this 2 in 1 and will stay with Samsung. Go for AMD Ryzen Samsung !
Hi Andrew, great video, you are no.1 at reviewing laptops. I bought a laptop because I am a student (use it in AutoCAD, Excel). I use pc most of the time, so doesn't need a powerfull laptop. The laptop I bought is Asus BR1402f 2in1 garaged stylus, 2 side cameras (i don't know how to switch between them), i3-n305, 256gb, 8gb ram + 1 slot available. Is below 600$. Can you make a video about it since is non of it on the internet?! It is a pretty good laptop for his price.
Okay PC. Camera and mics were good. Keyboard layout fair. You know my opinion of the numpad from previous review of the other Samsung PC you reviewed earlier. Sound on this was okay. One is paying a premium price for a unit that is crippled in upgradeability. If I was purchasing a new PC I would pass on this unit. Still a great and honest review of this PC.

The price comparison with the M3 Macbook Air is unfair, because you're comparing it to the 8GB RAM with 256GB SSD unit. The 16GB+1TB model costs exactly the same as the Book4 Pro 360 having the same configuration. On a different note, have you tried running the benchmarks with the laptop in tent mode? It might improve air flow quite a bit. Also, it is a realistic way of using the laptop if you're gaming with a controller or if you're just putting it in that position while it's doing some long processing job.
That extra space below the trackpad could fit a bigger battery....maybe to have a similar size as the HP Spectre 16

Hello, I have the laptop since Monday and am enthusiastic about the display. brighter than my Tab S9 ultra, better color display, with normal use no reflections perceptible. when used at the desk I actually notice 0 of the wall 90 degrees from me on the right
In my country they are offering an s9 fe throughout the month, and for the ultra you get an s24 128gb and a gitf card. thats pretty tempting

Samsung laptops underperform relative to laptops by other major brands within the same budget. Last year I suffered a lot with their ultra edition and I was given a refund at the end of the year when I sent it for repair for the third time. Buyers, please enter at your own risk! Later, I bought an ASUS latop from Best Buy with less than half the price with a higher-end CPU, and OLED display, an upgradable RAM and SSD, a privacy shutter for its webcam and a third gen RTX GPU. So far so good!

Thanks for the nice review. Did you put Dolby Atmos on? Is much better sound than, however still not as good as in the Macbook. In Germany I got the 32GB version und I am happy so far - also with the great integration of my Galaxy S23 ultra with Windows 11 and the additional Samsung software. Best regards from Berlin, Elmar

I was choosing between this and the HP Spectre x360, as I'm moving away from Apple, specifically my MacBook pro 14 M2 max. I think the main thing you missed was the anti reflection of the screen of the Samsung. It's so good. Thankfully the HP sits somewhere in between the Samsung and Apple in that regard, so the compromise was tolerable. Aside from that the HP was better in almost every way. Speakers, keyboard, and trackpad were significantly better. Going back to using a mechanical trackpad was terrible lol. Anyway, I think you nailed this review. Way to highlight the pros and cons. I would really enjoy direct comparison videos! The MacBook is the gold standard in terms of hardware, in my opinion. I just couldn't get used to MacOS. My only knock is the display seems outdated (when comparing directly to OLED), and it's a bit on the heavy side. Battery life and power was elite. I'm happy windows finally has OLED options that can last a full work day.

@@onlyvishal1411 it'll really depend on your preference of software. I was only using the MacBook pro because of the long battery and overall excellent hardware. The Spectre 14 finally allows me to go back to Windows. I still have both, but I'll be selling the MacBook for sure. I should add, if you're doing demanding tasks, the MacBook may serve you better also. For my use case, I just needed something portable with good battery life, while having a great display.
5:40 how is more weight not a bad thing? Heft should never be encouraged in portable devices. They should strive to make it as light as possible.

I wouldn't be surprised if the extra graphical performance is a byproduct of meteor lake being more power eficiente allowing the GPU to have access to a bit more power.
I heard it has screen cracking issue. Let me know if you have any problems with that. I am looking to buy one.

Please review the galaxy book 4 360 but that one that isnt the pro, it has an i7 150u with the iris exe graphics, but I am not sure about the screen, because it is a 15.6" FHD Led display (1920x1080), I can get the laptop for 999€ in spain, another thing is that I have read some comments saying that the screen is fragile, and the thing is that I am from Colombia so I wont have any warranty because a relative will buy it in spain, so it is important to me buying a laptop with good quality materials and good design. I need it for programming and I want a laptop with at least 15" and I havent found any laptops like that for that price in spain
I had an older Galaxy Book with a Ryzen processor and the fingerprint sensor would just sort of stop working periodically until I rebooted it. Looks like that bug is still around.

in the cinebench 2024 comparison against the spectre x360, the difference is 1.37% lower not 53.5%
One thing to note about the price point is that Samsung tends to give good offers when you buy their products, e.g. currently you can get 500€ tablet on top of Book4 Pro 360 and 200€ earbuds.
When I look at the scores, I know real world use can’t be measured by scores but my question is if you’re losing performance anywhere year to year, who was this made for the graphics are way higher. I get it the battery life is probably way higher, but why would you want to pay more for less? I could be totally wrong but I can’t justify buying this laptop. Any suggestions to what I’m not looking at if I am wrong.

Thanks for the review. On the price comparison with MacBook Air 15, it is the same price if you increase the hard drive to 1 GB instead of the 512. But I agree the price of the 360 is too high. Should be no more than 1,500.
@@ahaimes6320 The macbooks offer more performance for sure. The Pro 360 appeals to those that want a touchscreen with pen input, which the macbooks do not provide. I see the Pro 360 as an alternative to the macbook air, not the macbook pro. And the price of the Pro 360 includes 1 TB of storage, not 512. Still too expensive at 1,900, but if you have a samsung phone it offers some benefits. I would wait for a deal that takes off 300 to 400 off before buying.
Andrew, I enjoy sharing your reviews with my family. I do wish you would refrain from using pseudo explaitives in the titles. This may initially catch some attention, but detracts from the seriousness of what you have to say.
I own a Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S8, and Galaxy Buds Pro 2. I also have a Macbook Pro 16 M3, an iPad Pro 2020, and AirPods 2nd generation. While I'm impressed by the Samsung ecosystem, finding it as good as or even better than Apple's in some ways, Samsung's reliance on Intel chips for their laptops was a dealbreaker for me. The fan on my Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 frequently kicks in, even with basic tasks like using Outlook and a web browser. Despite reviews like Andrew's mentioning improved battery life, I still have doubts about Intel's efficiency compared to the M-series chips. In addition, the touchpad on the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 felt inconsistent, and the inclusion of a number pad wasn't something I preferred. Finally, limiting the memory to 16GB for a pro model seems like a missed opportunity.
How do you compare screen wobbles and hinge quality?
@@hosseindianati7798 Macbook Pro is way better. Because Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is designed for 360 degree rotation and thin & light, the screen wobbles and hinge is not that strong. Given that Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 appears using the same design as Book 3, I suspect the issues still remain.

I would play it safe and recommend the Macbook Air simply because it is a solid choice and will run cool and will be silent.

Great review buddy. All in all I feel this laptop is overpriced for what it is. I hope samsung corrects it's mistakes next time around. Smaller Haptic track pad bigger battery better speakers are on the top of the list.

Ok interesting, now I have watched review. so I opted for the 512gb 360 16 pro at £1799 but I could have got the 14 pro at £1599, I prefer the larger screen size, on the plus side, I did get an S8 Ultra bundled with it, (circa 600-700 value) which my Son can have for his birthday, so despite the truthful review pointing out some if it's flaws, I think it was still a good buy. @andrewmarcdavid - do you agree?

@ahaimes6320 my wife's got an lg gram 17 from a few years ago, was fairly impressed with weight and screen size. Guess am a bit of a samsung junky. Either way hopefully will feel like an upgrade to my 7 Yr old Dell.xps 9560, although it served me well, the weighty beast.
@@luvadealme I got the exact same version as you, here in India at £1099 exactly on pre-order. I have been playing with this one since a few days now and the major pros include an absolutely stunning screen, snappy performance, great integration features with my galaxy ecosystem (tab s8u and s22u) and insane battery life. I have a macbook m1 pro with retina XDR display as my alternative work laptop and I can assure you that the display on this one is wayyy better. The cons include it does stutter at times especially while watching content out of nowhere even though this is still a brand new unit and it gets super hot even while performing basic tasks. Alongwith that the keyboard has disgusting key travel coming from a mac I mistype almost even couple of minutes. Lastly, the trackpad is not a haptic one which is a bummer at this price and competition but the worse part is that it is severely ill-placed which makes it super duper inconvenient to use. But then again, considering the pre-order price, I'd say this is a sweet deal! Hope you enjoy using your unit too brother

That result is exactly what the test showed. It is not exaggerated. In real world use it varies as everyone has different use case scenarios

Am I the only one confused with the differences in Link to Windows, Samsung Flow, and Quick Share? Not quite sure when to use which...
Use Quick Share for transferring files between your devices. It serves the same function as Bluetooth, only infinitely faster and easier. Samsung Flow is similar, but also include ability to share texts. I hardly use it. Phone Links let you share clipboard items between phone & PC, use Android apps on the PC, read your messages, call & answer phones right on the PC and much more. I use QS for anything I used to use Bluetooth for, and Phone Link for any other interactions between my PC and the phone. By the way, these integrations are much more seamless if you have galaxy phones and galaxybook
@OluwadiyaKehinde Thank you for the detailed reply! I have the Book 4 Pro 360 and the S24 Ultra. Just trying to figure out how increase productivity and be more efficient with the two devices. Also, I noticed that when I do a screenshot on the Galaxy Book and edit with the S-pen, some of the functionality is not the same vs the S24, such as drawing "perfect" shapes. Am I missing something? Thanks again!

360 has S Pen Support and is a convertible. There are other slight differences as well l.
Too expansive for what it is should be around 1400 dollars.
It's a 16 inch 2 in 1 laptop and that's the biggest 2 in 1 laptop I think

While watching non HDR videos on youtube with this device, the colors seem washed out for all such videos. Anyone have any idea why though?

@@ahaimes6320 Apart from brightness the miniLed on the macbooks ain't better, response time is slower while scrolling a webpage, more reflection then on these newer Galaxy books and thus in need of more britghness! Colours still poppy with HDR mode set in windows... I have them both at the moment... Both are just great screens and devices!
It's expensive, but can I play devil's advocate for a moment? I think it has to be for the market segment they are going for. Premium laptops have the "tax" the Microsoft tax, the Apple Tax. You're paying for name, you're paying for quality build etc, and maybe not so much the spec sheet. Remember too, there's the Samsung ecosystem. Sounds a lot like the other two suddenly to me.

My recent encounters with Samsung products have left me quite dissatisfied. The pricing, particularly for their laptops, feels unjustifiably high, especially when compared to the performance offered. In contrast, brands like HP and Dell seem to outshine Samsung with more reasonable prices and modern features. It's worth exploring alternatives that provide better value for your money.

@1:11 Even the information you had, showed a 32GB version of the Book4 360 Pro? Add to this, the Ultra was supposed to have a 64GB option. All the hype and press releases leading up to nothing actually being available. Totally wasted my time Samsung. They're offering $700 trade-in for my Book3 360 Pro, no thanks.
Consider using swappa for much better return on how much you spent on your boo3 360 pro.

Why the hell they added numpad in their lineup
If this came with 32 GB of RAM at the same price, then maybe I'd say it's a decent value. But 16 GB of soldered RAM for over $1500 is ridiculous.

it's less on the 14" and lesser then last yearts model 3

I feel that would be compared to Ultra with Core Ultra 7 and RTX 4050
The takeaway from the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 (2024) is that it has a lot more negatives than positives and as such I would stay away from this and not even consider it as a purchase option. The dynamic Amoled display is gorgeous, USB ports are generous, 1080p webcam, internal mics, speakers and battery life are all good but that's about it for me in terms of the positives. Negatives are the soldered RAM, laptop is expensive, no haptic touchpad, no 32GB variant, WiFi 6E instead of WiFi 7 which is the new standard for 2024 and less single core performance than last year. All and all it's a disappointment and I would certainly pass on this one and go with another brand for sure. Excellent breakdown review Andrew as only you can do it! 👍😁
