Love when the orangutan kisses the baby theough the glass!! So sweet!! ❤🦧❤️
Awww after giving the kiss, the orangutan looked around and saw the people laughing, then flashed a little smile. Why people find it so hard to believe that we evolved from a common ancestor is beyond me.
Sadly, not as common as the psychotic chimpanzee. Maybe if we were more related to Orangatans people wouldn't act so poorly.
The theory of evolution is a myth. There is not a single link between two different species. Species suddenly appear complete in the fossil record. Without "failed experiments in evolution," scientists couldn't even apply evolution to bacteria in the lab, as not a single new protein appeared in a million years of evolution. And this, according to the theory, is impossible, and therefore undermines the theory itself. Rather, all scientists, with all their very, very advanced laboratories and laboratories, could not create the simplest types of life, or even a strand of self-replicating DNA. I feel frustrated that you adhere to this myth. Your consciousness cannot be explained physically, the consciousness that allows you to perceive my speech cannot be explained physically, do you realize what this means, our science is not a purely physical world, God is true, you cannot deny Him, Glory be to Him , I hope that God Almighty will guide you and have mercy on you, I advice you to read about Islam , Islam have your question answers❤❤❤❤
I literally just now left basically the same comment on a different video. Was titled 'incredibly intelligent orangutan' if you're interested!
People seem to have trouble with the whole evolved from a common ancestor. They make the mistake of thinking the common ancestor was either a monkey or a human when in actual fact the common ancestor we share with Chimps was neither human nor a monkey
Oh so Ur greatgrand parents were monkeys?
They are highly intelligent. We share 97% of DNA with them.
We share 60% of our dna with bananas.
50% with cabbage. So what?

Love that he’s being sweet with the baby but can they make his home bigger, greener more natural. Please 🙏🏽
Yes his home literally looks like a prison...lots of plants and maybe even some type of waterfall if they can do that. To go from a lucius jungle to gray concrete is just depressing...
They have a whole outdoor area to wander around in at that zoo. So do the gorillas, who are in the area right next to them. It gets cold in Colorado during the winter and the enclosure gives them a place to stay warm. Even when the weather is nice, they hang out in there a lot more often than you might think.
@@cmc5394oparva I've seen the outdoor portion and their exhibits are trash, it's just not enough space or greenery....animals shouldn't be caged for our amusement at all period.
@@SS-vk3yo Considering these zoos are some of the last places ensuring these animals don't go extinct, your complaint doesn't really hold much water. Nor does your clearly biased criticism of this particular zoo's enclosure spaces.
@@cmc5394oparva A lot of the time that's not the case, they are known to take animals from their home then breeding them in captivity they would literally have no chance of survival in the wild.. Now a misfit zoo for wounded animals and animals with physical disabilities would be acceptable, but at least make their habitat more suitable. Lots of greenery space and a good natural looking water source. I really don't understand why you're trying to debate with me here lol must be a zookeeper at some shitty zoo. As for the, "it's cold bring them inside,".... Sure ya that's fine, but they could of at least made the inside exhibit more suitable. These animals deserve at least that much since they don't belong their to begin with...shits not natural at all man. Lol clearly you're the one whose biased you bigot.
I saw another video on Reddit (I think) that showed an adult female Orang coming up to the glass to see a baby. The baby was in a carrier facing his mother. The Orang came up to the Mother and pointed at the baby, clearly asking her to turn the baby around so she could see it. They are such awesome primates. They have such a gentleness about them.

They should make cages more big and green
TheCatsMeow PrettyHorses u so dum
@TheCatsMeow PrettyHorses What ignorance you have shown by this remark - in my humble opinion. 1. I think that Enrica means that most animals would prefer more grass, flowers and trees to enjoy - irrespective of colour. THAT IS ONE DIFFERENCE IT WOULD MAKE. 2. Elephants, chimps and humans are known to paint in colour - which seems to indicate that not all animals are colourblind. Please think carefully before you criticise other people's carefully thought out comments.
They should be free 😢
There shouldn't be any cages in the first place..
@TheCatsMeow PrettyHorses Not all animals are, animals who eat fruits need to see colour. And it would also make it more homely.
Aww that's so precious, they understand more than we'll ever imagine. Bless them all.❤
I think of Maurice 🦧 from the Planet Of The Apes trilogy whenever I see an orangutan behave like this in a loving way.
So kisses pre-date human evolution, or what? Kisses are not exclusively human? I had no idea. (Not talking about dogs licking your face: that's a doggy "kiss" - we think. (Expressing affection.) ) But the / oops, I fell asleep.
I highly doubt that. Orangutangs don't even know how to make fire.
They can understand what a baby is... Because orangutans also get small babies. It's not like they're massively intelligent (although they are fairly intelligent for a non-human).
@@edntz if some1 taught them they culd probly learn. kanzi bonobo was taught to make fire, and orangutans are as smart if not more.

No Lewis is correct it is a female.
Lewis Murphy 😂😂😂
The Mistaken Lunatics female do gets beards But it's easy to tell it's gender Going by the size it's clear that the orangutan is a adult Males grow large cheek pads when they're 15
The Mistaken Lunatics in mammals generally the males are bigger. There are exceptions such as hyena where the females are the bosses and usually larger than males. The opposite is with insect world where usually the females are larger.
Orangatangs are one of my favorite animals, they are so sweet and calm.
Monkey: “ I’m related to you, you are related to me” Baby: “ 👀👄”
it breaks my heart to see such an intelligent creature is kept in literally a prison.
Feng Q he has an outdoor enclosure as well that is connected to this room, this is more of a jungle gym to him xP
Tyler Anderson I can see how you'd think that. Please read the description of the video. It explains why this sweet guy is in a zoo. He needs constant care and attention that these people give him which would not be possible in the wild. He also has an enormous outdoor encounter that has trees to hide in if he wants privacy. He truly doesn't have a bad life. Don't totally disregard these people's jobs, most of them just want to help the animals and give them the best life possible, but to get the money to do that means allowing people other than the caregivers to be involved, but donations are also amazing :)
Feng, It breaks my heart that you exist! Shut up and read the description before you go ahead and make assumptions!
Iroquois Pliskin y You could say the same about a prison for humans. Would you like to live longer?
It would probably break your heart to see the creature die and get devoured by a steak of tigers within 20 minutes of being in the wild.
An evidence about animals have a soul.
Ray Alberto Gutiérrez Balanzar ...I think so too. Well, I don't want to say that some animals have a soul, and others don't...but in some of them- you can just see it in their eyes..like gorillas , orangutans, elephants, dogs, cats. lol I got carried away.....sea otters lol , they are like the naughty kitties of the sea.....you know they all have a soul ..
No, nor is there evidence that humans have a soul
Lol, people still believe in souls?
Theblade12 So
It is just childish, no matter how you look at it. Such beliefs are obsolete, and have no place in a modern world.

Big Prick it’s a joke...
Exactly bruh
Big Prick lmao I agree with the first comment, humans are the worst thing on this planet. And I’m a human- the fact that it’s coming from us speaks for itself. Why would we down talk ourselves if it wasn’t true? Lmao. No matter which way you turn it we are what messed up our planet lmao. 😂
Anyone wonder where legends like Tarzan come from? I thin this ape may try and care for a baby if it found one alone.
Katlyn C-M. Maybe but this is not a flanged male. Most likely not dominant. Also i had a male cat that brought home a litter of kittens once. We had to feed them but he did everything else. I know a male orangutan may not raise a human baby but the interest is at least there.
Where is the evidence the orangatan would kill a baby if he found it? He's shows nothing but affection in the video. I think PTeifert is right.
P Teifert oragutan will definitely care for the baby.... But remember great ape babies are generally much grown up at birth.... Humans are the exception.... Human babies are more tender.... So the oragutan would hurt the baby without realizing.....
P Teifert hi baby
The Wipits.. Research Lion Prides & males killing offspring of other males. It happens..... Though I haven't heard of this happening with orangutan.males which are generally gentle primates.
Animals show true and more love and affection than some of the human beings ...
They are like humans protective and know that’s a baby and feel the love to love the bundle of joy.
I hope some day we give more credit to animals for their intelligence and hearts.
Wow, that baby didn't scared to orangutan when the face near.
That's probably the most impressive part of the video
Don't be fooled , he only wants to know how to create fire.

How pure soul both are ❤️ 😀 .
its sad that he/she is in a cage😕 and not in their natural habitat.everyone deserves to b in a place which they can call as home.😞 but m sure they treat them well over there..
The way I see it, at least they ain't a meal for some predator, or poached by a bunch of a-holes. I realize why people hate zoos, but I don't think it's the worst thing that can happen to an animal.
Sadly this may be the only chance they have to avoid extinction. Their natural habitat is being destroyed by us.
Sree Chatterjee some animals and mammals have no choice, their natural habitats are destroyed by the humans fairly quickly sending some into extinction purely by hunting for foreign delicacy or aphrodisiacs. A zoo's main intent is to give certain animals a chance for procreation and preservation of life. Main reason Rhinoceros' are almost naturally extinct from the world, only reason some exist is because of zoos raising them. Same goes for aquariums, a lot of sea life is being hunting merely for their fins, look up high end delicacies that Asian countries eat, shark/whale fin soup, turtle soup, etc. They just chop off their fins including dorsel fins leaving them alive and dumping them back in the ocean. It's really sad. EDIT: plus it's also really educational teaching humans from current, and future generations we need to save animals or mammals from getting poached to extinction, and also learning more about wildlife and how we can better the world.
Problem is that we have to bring animals in zoo's. People are destroying earth unfortenatly. But in general your wright. Animals belong in there habitat. Let's hope people will act more against the companies, like oil for example. We need the sea and land, so that our childeren can still enjoy it.
Sree Chatterjee if u put it there (considering its probably always been here) it would most definitely not survive. That's why. Can't say the same for ones that are brought in, but it's usually because endangerment. Basically, if an animal Is seen in a public viewing area, it is 100% better off in captivity these days.

I saw a documentary about gorillas where a couple of grown males in the wild came across a young owl that hadn't learned to fly well yet. They were so curious yet gentle with it. Really incredible the depth of emotion and thought these beings have. Our hairy brothers and sisters of this planet. :)
Many species react specifically to babies with recognition. Love to see such shared emotions! Very few species have ANY level of sentience, but even animals that supposedly rely on instinct alone react to babies, hugs, music, even painting (elephant artists, anyone?) Doesn't make the world smaller, just CLOSER!!!
Orangutans are quite caring. When an orangutan mother is tired, they will often allow a trusted female orangutan look after her baby while they rest. Some orangutans even get jealous of other orangutan mothers.
Well said, however, you suggest that Elephants are an example of Animals relying on instinct alone, however, they clearly have some sentience.
Animals are so intelligent!! They recognize, love. It doesn't take much caring to have feelings.
