    • We Germans tend to have a good understanding of English but we are not nearly as fluent than actual Americans. Our English is very German and therefore I can understand his point of saying his German sounds better then his English since he actually made a really good impression of the German accent which we Germans often really struggle with to get a proper American accent.

  • We had a similar pre SCM conversation happen at this particular Tegut before they tore it down and replaced it with a brand new shiny one this year. Our Canadian bud after a long journey got a couple of reds and in perfect German said to the cashier-"das war ein guter Flug" the look on the clerk‘s face, priceless.   • i remember when i was learning french, i spoke to a french friend of mine and his french was so strong and quick that i was hopeless. Any one and i really recommend this, go to a french speaking country for a month or two and practice the language. it was really frustrating for me with the money part of things but its worth it at the end of the day. I'm not gonna lie my spelling in french isn't the best but my french went from level 2 to level 10 within the first two weeks. Every-time when someone tried to speak to me in english i just told them to bear with me in french. When i came back from my trip to nice i went to my french friend and i spoke to him like nothing. I understood everything he was saying like everything. learning a new language is beautiful, because at the end of the day you can fall in love or save a life just by speaking that language.
