In a magical world where strangers both speak slowly and clearly, AND have time for you!...
😅😂😂😂
It's not magical mate, my own experience
😂😂😂😂
It's not magical, in Indonesia you can do that often
@@fivepointsgang5206 good point. That was my experience in Germany as well. Maybe one of the best living experiences of my life, if I could I would go back to live there again.
This is so much like my first moments in Germany! Except I was carrying two big suitcases and a huge backpack, I was exhausted from taking three flights to get there and the bus was packed. I struggled a lot with understanding the ticket selling machine and also with the coins which I was using for the first time in my life... Two lovely old german people helped me to get into that bus using broken English.... Although it was a tough moment I treasure it in my mind... Going to live abroad is truly an amazing experience but it is also full of confusing and difficult moments like this...
I dont understand those machines myself. It happeneds often even to germans that they buy the wrong tickets in trains. Because the system is complicated.
How is it going now?
I can see myself in this particular experience in Germany😅😅
@@indahooddererste Using these machines seems to require an engineer diploma. Where are the good old times when the bus driver simply sold us a ticket to our destination? I guess I'm getting too old to use public transportation nowadays.
Trains and transport in Germany in general just suck xD. At least from mine experience. It's pure chaos unfortunately. I'm afraid of traveling alone there, because I just know that there will be some train changes and I will just get lost. So I must admit, you have courage. And hearing VERSPÄTUNG every time when you use a train, became a routine.. Although, not every transport is that bad, there are some exceptions:)
Is it normal to feel more stressed after watching this? That girl just transmitted me all her nerves
😆😆
She transferred her stress to me too... 😬
Jajaja!!
I think you need to relax a little mate hahah
Me too :)
I must say, this is beautifully filmed. The atmosphere and mood is done incredibly well. This is how I would imagine Kubrick or Lynch to make a language learning video lol.
Hehe, I thought so too... maybe it's not so good for a classroom where everyone would fall asleep, but for a home theater the movie fits perfectly.
🤗🤗🥰🥰
This video made me feel the way I felt when I went to Germany for the first time. Same as her age, 23. It really portrays how in general the German people are. They seem rude at first. They let you suffer a little so you can figure out things by yourself. And then, just when you thing you might break apart..... They push you a little, so can figure it out. One builds character in this country very quickly. Nice video.
Thank you for you kind and insightful comment, Johan!

What a coincidence! I just find the first time I went to Germany is also 23, and celebrate my 24 birthday in Bonn where is the homeland of my favorite musician Beethoven. Also make many mistake when travel by train. But German people are so kind and friendly. I'm learning Deutsch in China, and hope one day can study in Deutschland again.
No way! I actually studied Chinese in Taiwan for 4 years!!!! I guess we both love German and Chinese.
Excellent lessons! It would have been "more excellent :) " if it had german subtitles. Tschüss
@Maşa Kanal how to watch with subtitles I cant find option on goethe

Yes we need german subtitles.

Great thing when you move to a new country is, you get into so many embarrassing situations and then you realise you don't actually die after all (I know, I've done it five time). Lowered my anxiety considerably.

Очень интересное видео. Вы молодцы! Спасибо!!!
Sus videos me sirven mucho, les agradezco por todo su contenido, saludos desde Guadalajara, México.
Thank you for this video, I'm facing the same experience literally nowadays, it is really a horrible feeling when you are in a new place, don't have any clue, and you need to do everything perfectly by your own.

Hahaha this perfectly captures the way you have to not fall down in the bus as it moves on before you're ready! German transit is excellent for improving your balance skills (and yet, I also admire how many elderly people take the bus and train, not to mention biking up hills (!!), I wish we had that here in the USA).
Вы ещё не были в автобусах стран СНГ
Grüße nach Deutschland! Aus Brasilien. Ein großes Dankeschön.
I'm going to study in Germany next year and I'm currently learning German. This girl made me so worried but I know we'll make our way around hehe.

I think I got the message of the video. I'm trying to understand German without subtitles, and I'll admit it was very difficult but after rewatching it again, I understood more.
Wesley Sorrell Das ist richtig❤🌹🌹🌹
And that is exactly how we learn any language.

Why do I have a feeling that this will be me on my first day in Frankfurt? lol
Same feeling am paying a lot of attention to her body language and she acted so well.for a stranger in a foreign land with minimal language ability
I was a bit scared, at 18, when I came directly from my flight from California to Frankfort and the main train station, in 1973. I was shocked that everyone was speaking German. I had taken German for 2 years in high school and 1 year in college. A lot of German people helped me through a lot of my challenging experiences. Almost 50 years later, I'm still in touch with Germans I became friends with, and who had befriended me.
@@johnr.6029 sounds like a great outcome!
I remember when I first wanted to learn German I watched this video, and when I came here the first time I almost went to another city in the train because I didn't understand the system lol , thank God I knew some basic german

I think this lady (Nevin Coşkun alias Sara Klapp) in this TV series is perfect in German. She just behaves like a struggling German language beginner. The way she pronounce the German words, can be easily judge that she is native or C2 level in German.
The german people are so helpful. Remember being in a train in münich. I even got off the wrong stop but then 1 of them germans somehow knew i was on the wrong stop and bothered to follow me outside the train and tell me that i got off the wrong stop and had to hop back in! Yikes! Very nice people i am surprised.
Das ist sehr schön.Danke.

Exactly what happened to me when i came to Frankfurt. Except I was trying to go to the Red Light zone, but ended in the front of a police station
This video is great. Whenever one is abroad, things always go wrong during the first few days, for no reason at all, as if taking the piss on us: bus route temporarily changed due to road work, office closed due to rennovation, ticket machine out of order/coins, and in case of Italy, one gets conned. For this, I believe the video would speak to a lot of us.
ah on my way home from germany, i had my friend with me all the time except this last journey. i accidently got onto the wrong train. had to get off at a random stop, and had to go up to a stranger to ask for help. his 'little english' was enough to have a full conversation. He helped a lot and i was able to get to the airport in plenty of time. Danke Olli x
So nice, the old man is so kind and caring
I totally agree with you, my friend

Vielen Dank!
