    • Yep. Just MMA......plus boxing, kickboxing, karate, TKD, BJJ, wrestling, muay thai, sumo, judo and pretty much every other combat sport in the world. Actually come to think of it, yellow cards in soccer are pretty much the same thing. I mean shit, fouling someone in basketball is blatantly cheating but you still get a whole handful of those before you get the boot. Even if the foul is accidental in MMA they're still not allowed lol That's why they're fouls and result in point deductions if they keep happening.

  • Great video! One more thing you could have brought up is the fact that in mma you could go sign up for a gym and take a class and see a professional mma fighter taking the same class. Or atleast in the same gym traing with the same ppl. Boxing is a bit similar but in mma theres so many different diciplines pros are everywhere learning from everyone, along with themselves owning and running gyms while fighting. You can train at a fighters gym and watch them fight troughtout their career.

  • Another one: Women's events drawing as much audience as men's, unheard of in any other sport

    @marcosbona8260@marcosbona82603 жыл бұрын
    • That doesn’t happen in MMA. Invicta isn’t drawing Belator numbers. MIXED cards draw, but women on their own don’t.

      @Thor-Orion@Thor-Orion3 жыл бұрын
    • @@Thor-Orion fair enough, but I meant events and not cards. Ronda pulled some crazy numbers, and big ufc events nowadays are headlined by women. The thing is you have to put it in perspective and compare it to other sports. No one in their right mind is excited for a wnba game, other than a few sjws 😂, same goes for football, american football and basically every other sport. Tenis might be an exception. But the expectation that a WMMA fight can generate (in comparison to men's) is unmatched 💯

      @marcosbona8260@marcosbona82603 жыл бұрын
    • @@marcosbona8260 and i am HUGELY supportive of wmma for several reasons, highest being to inspire girls to learn how to defend themselves. Ain’t nobody taking advantage of the love of my life Shevchenko. But I actually have this crazy idea that they should host mixed rules events. Top level kickboxing, boxing and mma all on one card. I think it would be great for fight sports.
