That by far was the best how to kill Bee Queen video. I've seen a bunch of different methods. Really didn't like any of them. Either just to many people required or a whole bunch of building involved. The bunny village on the surface can be used for multiple purposes. Hounds, food, (mini bosses) Varg, materials, etc. Best part the bunny's dont eat the drops. That was a very deep video. You covered everything. Covered everything, except the resource gathering, like having that much gold, not starving in the process, the time you spend traveling (and going hungry in the meantime) just to find the Bee Queen and the Bunny villages.
@@SirDavid290 Bunnymen are FAR stronger than Pigs, there's absolutely no comparison between the two. Bunnyman: 200 hp, 40 dmg, attack once/2 sec, running speed of 6 Pig: 250 hp, 33 dmg, attack once/3 sec, running speed of 5 A Bunnyman can dish 1200 dmg/min, while a Pig can only hit for 660 dmg/min. Bunnymen deal almost twice as much damage in the same span of time, and can run away faster when injured. Oh, Bunnymen also regen 8.67 hp every 5 seconds. Pigs don't regen at all. It gets even more absurd if you drop your Sanity below 40%, which turns the Bunnymen into Beardlords (200 hp, 60 dmg, attack once/1 sec) -- Beardlords do *3600 dmg/min.* Nothing more needs to be said.

CHARREDCHARLIE 44 if you’re a Webber just make the spider queen fight the bee queen along with some spider with you to help(place a spider den nearby and wait)
I like your profile picture. Also if you play Webber nothing without an area of effect attack can ever be a threat to you. And anything with an area of effect attack can be dealt with by throwing more spiders at the problem. If you send enough spiders at any problem it will usually go away. Or at the very least, there will be fewer spiders.

I may have missed it in there but you forgot to mention that food items (and Ham bats) stored in bundle wrap do NOT decay at all while wrapped in the bundle wrap meaning you can store food indefinitely without spoilage once the Bundle wrap recipe has been acquired. Also if you play on a server during the Winter's Feast event you can learn how to make Wrapping Paper, which uses one Papyrus and one Flower Petals to make 4 wrapping paper that function identically to Bundle Wrap.
If you don’t feel like making football helmets the combination of 76 bunny hutches will also suffice.
Hmm. I just tried this method yesterday, and the bunnies died before they could kill her. I likely could've finished her off if the game didn't decide to give me a hound attack. I only had 21 bunny hutches so that likely had something to do with it. Back to the drawing board

@@TheBeard777 Not really an exception, just like real life, jelly beans are made from animal bone whereit becomes gelatin where it then becomes jelly beans as that is why many vegans dont eat jelly beans and such, and as there is a vegan alternative. This is what many people do not know and think jelly beans are not animal product in which it actually came from the slain bee queen so it makes alot of sense.

Regarding the bunny men... With me being a Webber player I suppose befriending a bunch of spiders before assaulting the bunny men's little camp would be advised? Or should i just say to hell with the bunny men and befriended 100+ spider's and hope for the best? The spider's sound fun albeit maybe not too viable.
Ah, a Webber boy. I wish I could say otherwise but this method SHOULD NOT be used by folks who play Web, it's not only a suicide run, it will mess it all up as the bunnies will agro onto you instead of whatever they are supposed to be helping you fight. There are other Bee Queen methods out there and I am sure many videos about them so I would say try finding a good one out there for ya! Sorry that I don't have one but I will probably make one eventually! :D
Welp, it's still super helpful and very informative nonetheless. Plus I've always got WX-78 to fall back on if Webber isn't cut out of the job and my buddy mains Wigfrid so he's usually got my back for pig and bunny related stuff when WX-78 isn't an option. Thank you again, eh?
I will say this. The key to fighting the bee queen is simple. Keep the grumbles away from the queen so you can take her down. You can do this by building a large narrow swiggling path between fences. Grumbles or any creature will natually walk around walls or fences rather than through, even if they can fly. So exploit this and the speed difference between the queen and the grumbles. this will keep them alive, and away from the queen so this allows you to stop her from spawning new ones too frequently. Just bring great armor, you are webber so make yourself bee hats since I assume you have ample silk to spare. And this is a viable but difficult method that you can do on your own.
Another method that I really like, but its more expensive. Is get yourself a star caller staff and a few ice flingos. turn them on, drop a ton of grass really close together or anything flamable. And spawn a dwarf star near it. Anything that comes close to that area will be frozen solid near indefinitely. I hope any one of those two strategys helps

I'm working on a bunny military, working out just how many soldiers I am gonna use to scrap Queen Bee for parts to regenerate as WX with. The answer is yes. Oh and if you wanna pit the bunns against each other during farming (via combat in caves), a maxed out Lamb Idol apparently is enough to actually regain sanity. Also makes a nice town center for bunny villages. Kinda makes them look like they praise Lambert too, which is a kinda fun touch if you're into that.

Thanks a lot, dude! I'm finally exploring the caves for the first time and I am lucky enough to have a big bunny village right at the entrance. In a matter of days, I was able to build 6 huts already. I'm also soloing as Wigfrid, so seeing you do this gives me hope (although I'm not nearly as good at fighting bosses as you are). Edit: I did it. I beat her today after many failed attempts. It's all thanks to you. :'D

@@logan6768 Both. hahaha I didn't know you could play DST alone or the fact that it's different from regular Don't Starve. I played a bit with my sister, but she got tired of it pretty quickly. I also had to disable all the bosses and other stuff while playing with her, so I decided to play on my own and experience everything the game has to offer.
I always felt like you needed to have really over powered gear and stuff for this fight, but now I can just kill it in my spear time, cool

If anyone is wondering if you an do this with merms while playing with wurt, you can, Its just you have to befriend some of them first and also for whatever reason they can lose interest in fighting her pretty easily, But i did it with just 20 of them.

Whatever Wigfried skin that is, it is deceptive; it makes her look kinda sweet/cute.
after 2 rollbacks I finally did it! first try I only had 24 hutches with only one pair of armor so that didn't work out well, second try I had 32 hutches and few more armor pairs to spare but that still didn't work. then on the third try I gave the bunnies bunch of beekeeper hats and football helmets and holy hell that made such a different, I went from the queen killing all my bunnies to still having half of them alive after defeating her.

My question is, how do you know if you are hitting the Bee Queen or her beebees if you are surrounded in a clusterfuck like that?! I'm still fairly new to DST, and to me, it looks like your odds of slapping a rabbit with your ham are EXTREMELY likely.
It's why I call this fight the, "F everything fight"! DON'T USE YOUR MOUSE TO FIGHT! Just hold the F-key to target hostiles so that you don't hit your bunny army!

Loving this way to kill this Queen, The Tentacle one confuses me, how do you get the loot she drop’s when all those Tentacles are there?
The Tentacle method is just as, if not more, dangerous to the player than it is for The Queen. It absolutely destroys here but this method easily competes for the top DPS. When it comes to the loot though, you'll have to grab one, maybe two, things at a time to avoid getting spanked to death :D BUT, making yourself what is called a Lazy Forager is a must as it will suck items on the ground into your inventory without having to manually do so. You can make it in the ruins at the Pseudo-Science Machine (Ancient Crafting Machine).
Actually tentacles are relatively safe. All you have to do is keep moving. Sometimes I wear the bee queen hat and walk in circles through the hoards of tentacles for the massive sanity boost. Just keep moving at all times and you will always be out of their range. in addition to the tentacle method. You can save on some grass if you do an o oxo o. If you the perimeter full with the walls, you can do an alternative grid of wall, no wall, wall, no wall. Equally effective but saves you a fair amount of grass. As for picking up the items? Yea, you have to stop to pick up those making it extremely dangerous. But I am sure you'd been to a marsh before? you've seen tentacles kill spiders and you managed to get the loot without being killed? Just be careful, grab one at a time NEVER two. Better to be on the safe side. I hope this helps and good luck o xox o
@@shanejett3550 All you need is one tenticle spot, you use the book and use it on beefalos a single use at a time or a boss, or basically anything that is strong enough to handle them. Eventually you'll get maybe 2 or 3 spots to continue the process. While sure it requires maintenance but its still rather cheap all things considered. Would you rather build 30 bunny men houses? Or less and constantly have to replace their armor, much greater upkeep cost there. It all comes down to what you have available and what your preference is. I have never actually died to my own tentacles, so this is what my preference is.

Quick question, does the queen (and other bosses) regain health if you run away? I just tried fighting the bee queen and was forced to run away, and she, reset? I can get more honey, but I’m not sure if her health reset to max.. It will drastically change how I approach her for the next fight.
Hello, a bit late but : bee queen will go back to her hive at 13 tiles away from her hive. If you don't aggro her back when she's runing away she will reset (flying away). If she does reset well... her health is reset to the max ! Just hammer the hive again to spawn her again. So lil tips before going into the fight, : spawn her, take a fork in your hand, run with her following you and when she turns back just make a mark on the floor wioth your fork. But as I said before, it should be 13 tiles away from the hive :)

Cheeky little mods used back in the day, totally cheating but made recording a bit faster!
What about that other mechanic? “Battle shouts?” You can temporarily stun both grumble bees and the queen bee, as she panics. Her bees panic as well, while her majesty tries to make them SOOI (snap out of it). Warning: This May distract or scare mobs. Shadow creatures just doesn’t get affected. It surely scares minions. (Grumble bees, Lava Larva, moose gooses chicks etc.) BUT NOT THOSE SEEDS THAT POP OUT DURING DECIDUOUS TREE/POISON BIRCHNUT FIGHTS! This is exclusive, and only to Wigfrid, the performance artist.
Wigfrid's rework came out like 2 years after this video was made, friend...

No, you can't actually but thanks for trying. A bush hat works for the tentacle method, not this one. The whole point of using the bunnies is allowing for them to focus on the Queen while you handle the grumble bees as if the bunnies need to handle both... well, they simply can't. Queen's scream sends the bunnies into a frenzy, allowing for more and more grumbles to spawn throughout the fight, and since the bunnies won't all be fighting what they need to fight at any given time they will be overwhelmed as the fight progresses. It is why the player(s) need to kill the little bees to lessen the blow to your bunnies.
There has been a new update so when bee queen is killed she now drops sculpture blueprint just like all seasonal bosses :))

The one you are likely referring to is called, "Simple Health Bar DST", but I also use another mod called, "Show Me", that allows for even more greater detail into items and mobs!
