  • Great idea, layering with a plain sheet of clear plastic in between! This might be a good idea to get around a current spot I'm trying to make a plan for using a fallen tree. I like the idea with the vent duct hose over the stove pipe as well. I gave a subscribe in support 👍

  • It angers me that one would bring plastic and nails into nature. it's not needed. I truly hope you took it with you when you disassembled the "shelter". A rule of thumb almost every child in Sweden learns is to leave the spot as you found it, or better. - So that the person after you can enjoy the spot in the same way as you did. Meaning you do minimal harm to the forest. pick branches from the ground and not a healthy tree. if you find trash, pick it up. and obviously don't leave anything behind. All you need for insulation in winter camping you can find in the forest. you just need to be creative.
