I’m a Christian and we are concluding an important season in our calendar. I completely understand the sadness you feel about not being able to feel more connected with your religion and feeling like you’re not doing good enough compared to others you see around you. but you’re totally right. kids are blessings and they are the most important work we can do while on earth. mashallah dear sister leena that's so nice to see u doing really good and yes don't be upset that u aren't getting much time to worship during month of ramadan because afterall u are taking care of ur family which also an act of worship . well, overall Allah knows our intentions better! here's a tip that : u can include dhikar in ur routine , while doing cooking or doing any sort of work which is again going to gain u more rewards inshallah. and yes do keep vlogging coz u are an inspiration me. i really like when ur husband helped u in cooking , ur parents praying together , children praying mashallah subhanallah and yes i really want try that dish u made seems so delicious. lastly lot's of love from India :)

Hi Leena, my husband is from Kurdistan the city Erbil. We make Maklobah (thats what we call it in Kurdish) It is a Kurdish style. We make it totally different that the Palestinian way! I make 2 rices one pot of rice is seasoned with tumeric and the other pot is seasoned with the Maklobah seasoning, I fry eggplant, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, onions with the carrots and potatoes for flavor, I put a ton of chunky lamb on bone pieces in my instant pot so it cooks well and is so tender! I season it with the maklobah season. The I layer it all in a big pan ans let that cook on low for a while and then let it sit for all the flavors to set in. I flip it on a big pan! Maybe try our's??? You would LOVE it! I am also struggling with this Ramadan! Your not alone in that.

Leena, it is a blessing to nurse and nurture your kids, so do not feel bad if you are neglecting your worshipping. Allah SWT rewards you for the little consistent efforts and worshipping. After all you are human. Mashallah. 💙
A little tip, I use parchment paper on the bottom of the pot before I start stacking all the veggies! Everything releases and it gets nice & crispy but doesn’t burn ❤️ Also the shape where the rice holds when you flip it is if you let it sit and rest after turning off the fire. If you flip it too fast it’ll fall apart, but if you let it rest for about 5+ minutes after it’s done cooking it’ll hold the shape when flipped my cheesecake tin came with perfect round parchment paper & it fits my maklouba pot perfectly. So I use it for meals that stick a lot for me which is maklouba, biriyani, and jeej bi curcurm

Alhumdulillah praising Allah for everything in your life but Leena, please remember not to say Allah's name in the bathroom 🙈 I see in another comment Leena mentions her bathroom is separate from her make up area so that was wrong for me to assume. Alhumdulillah ❤️
Why is that?
Allah's name is not mentioned where a toilet is present. In A washroom where you make wudu/ghusal and no toilet is present you are *required* to say Allah's name and make Dua during wudu. Please stop assuming things without having proper knowledge, to "assume" just makes an ass out of u and me🤦. Ughh the ignorance, this is the problem with the Ummah. Ignorance and bad opinion, su thun.
It’s pretty common to have a separate room for the toilet. Especially since she built her house, I’m sure that’s the case.
People really need to comment with DALIL/PROOF. I think sometimes we just want to hear ourselves talk. Insha'allah, let's do better to keep comments to ourselves about religion when we don't tag the proof. Furthermore, her entire family is muslim, you should assume the best, maybe she knows that, maybe she has a water closet, etc.

Salam Leena, i have IBS but alhamdullilah it got better in the last 3 years, im 21 now. Im still on a strict diet and i cant eat things that contain gluten but i do try to put a bit of dairy in my food. Can you do some recipes please that are low fodmap. Love your videos. It's hard to find bakhoor in USA or Canada. Best thing is when you go to the Middle East (Dubai, Saudi etc) stock up a bunch. Especially if you go for Umrah in Makkah they have great ones for a good deal
