2025 Ferrari 12Cilindri Walkround | Up close and personal with prancing horse’s wild new V12 coupe
Ferrari 812 Superfast replacement packs a 611kW V12 punch and revs to 9500rpm 👉 Full Story. www.carsales.com.au/editorial...
The 2025 Ferrari 12Cilindri has been revealed as a wild new V12-powered coupe and Spider inspired by some of the prancing horse brand’s most famous GTs of the past.
Unlike other premium auto brands that are dropping V8 and V12 engines in the face of tightening emissions standards, Ferrari has blessed the 12Cilidri - as its name suggests - with a new naturally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12 that spins to a stratospheric 9500rpm and produces a punchy 611kW.
But there’s much more to Ferrari’s stunning new 812 Superfast successor, as John Mahoney discovers in this exclusive walkround video.

I've seen some hate on another video but I actually really like this design, feels more like a GT as opposed to supercar
wtf hi ferg
It looks like hot sweaty pile of garbage
Love the GTB4 Daytona-inspired design.
Yep. Could we see a Spyder? What about an Aperta?
finally Ferrari is coming out with cars that feel like Ferraris again!
But look like a Honda!
@@wingcommanderdaltonwalton67and what design cue or line on this car even remotely resembles a honda??? I swear people just love to vommit out BS whenever a new car comes out “it looks like this it looks like that 🤪”
I agree with the OP, Ferrari is getting back to their roots ☝️
@@jjchockey oooooo, somebody’s tired! It’s just my subjective opinion,I love the 812 and this is a huge change. It is rapidly growing on me and I’m starting to like it but calling out bullshit to anyone with a differing view is a bit dramatic😂!
@@wingcommanderdaltonwalton67 saying you like the 812 is one thing. You are claiming it looks like a Honda which is just idiocy because it does share a single body line or doesn’t cue of any Honda ever made.
Never seen this presenter before, don’t know who he is, but he’s doing a bloody good job of describing this car. You see some right idiots trying to talk about cars like this, but this guy absolutely nailed it. Professional job.
It kinda reminds me of the Ferrari Roma. Brings back the looks of Daytona also. I actually like this new release Ferrari 🤔
a herritage from ferrari 365 gtb/4. thank God for V12 engine. it just not a car, but also an art. well done ferrari 😍😍
The front looks like the new Prius 💀
I think ferrari needs Pininfarina!
Pista ? Daytona SP3 ? 812 competizione ? Portofino M ? Without Pininfarina.
The front looks like a Honda… looks nice but like a Honda….
I have a Honda, and I'm pretty sure no one is confusing it with a Ferrari.
As Ferrari did with the F8 Tributo, naming the car after the engine indicates the 12Cilindri will be a “tribute”- the final v12 production car. It was time for an update of the 812, and Ferrari has delivered beautifully. Vastly improved in every way, except for the exhaust note. The credit for that malaise goes to the same group who are effectively taking away the V12: the government regulators.
what is this Nissan?
Ferrari needs to get a little creative with their light design
Your 'amazing' front fascia looks like the one on a BYD Dolphin
I can see from Hyundai and Honda in front, some ford around, some Mazda on side, some jag and Aston st back. But those who can’t afford one has no right to judge, so those are realy jsut words that came out.
It looks like Honda were asked to make a new Daytona
What, no Chinese influence in the design ?
Can we stop this trend of whenever a new car comes out people saying “it looks like this it looks like that 🤪” when it literally doesn’t share a single design cue or body line with any of those cars. Are we on the same planet? Are you blind? Disabled?
Love the revived 365 GTB/4 Daytona look, one of my ["modern"] all-time favorites alongside the 288 GTO and 512 BB.
It is definitely a stylish car. At first glance it is not very clear about the usual Ferrari DNA on the front. It almost gives me the idea that I'm looking at a Roma with a full bodykit on. The V12 is totally respectable tho.
What a beautiful car. Gorgeous proportions, a very retro-futuristic classic in the making! Amazing.
HEY Shmee150... Where are you??? You missed this one.
I went to look for his upload. I think he will post it in the morning. It might be too late for him to post. The car was just released
He can miss it, it’s fugly
This colour combination is like you go to Yoshinoya and order chicken&beef combo, GREASY
Best Ferrari in years.
I’ve read all the comments…and those who hate it are crazy! It looks classy as hell! I never liked all the cut outs/wings and defusers on every Ferrari that’s come out! This doesn’t look like those I’ll agree. But if those other models cars are your thing then go get a job and buy one! The cockpit is also very classy compared to the 812…(which was plan and dull) to me at least. The homage to the Daytona is the only thing I’m not crazy about…something about the two tone front end that’s off setting! But I could surely get over that! Very classy and I love the rear steering innovation that’s been added. My opinion is it’s a great design. Not a typical looking Ferrari for sure…but that’s what’s cool about it! I’d like it in black to minimize the Daytona two tone front end! Again just my opinion…
Looks Gorgeous ❤
Beautiful car..
Beautiful. Reminds me of testarossa also
Love it, especially the Daytona front. It’s not pretty, it’s beautiful. Like Sophia Loren. I’ll have one in antique white ext. with light tan/black int. Thanks very much.
Looks like if an 812 and a Roma had a really ugly baby together in my opinion. I’ll definitely keep the 812.
You have an 812?
people talked shit about the 812 when it came out, and how the f12 looks much better. This new v12 looks epic and will get better over time.
@@DiaperSNiFFER Yes had one since 2019. It’s been my daily driver since I had it.
@@AlexanderLam1122 I don’t know if it will grow on me because I almost instantly fell in love with the F12 and 812 when I first saw them, but on this new car the feeling I get when I look at it is it looks like a sports EV with a V12 in it. This is just my opinion, and maybe this is one of those cars that look better in person.
I have an 812, pre-GPF. It appears the 812 was the last of the line in terms of both external styling and interior design. I’ll keep my 812.
It looks amazing!!!!
Awsome looking car, good job Ferrari
Front end reminiscent of the GTB4 Daytona
On black with red inside ❤️
great modern take to a classic but i miss pininfarina styling
Beautiful specs in this colours. But why quieter than then 812?
Emissions
I lost hope wit Ferrari. Even if I want one and can afford, I can t get it. I had 2 in the past, but they were briefly pre-owned. So I am no one for them.
Would probably look better in a matt paint as the numerous reflective curves look complicated and overly fussy.
Very busy design
Very clean design. Has a lot of line flow. Get your eyes checked. Far more timless than an 812. You will look back in 20 years and say to yourself what was I thinking.
I'm in LOVE ❤️
Not sure about the front design. But I like the side and the rear though
Accord rims??
vw gti.....accord stole them too.
Top!
Koenigsegg and Pagani are way ahead in terms of Design...
is that a rebadged Honda? 😂
Roma had a Mazda-like design, but this car has a Toyota-like design. Are the wheels Honda style?
Supra ?
Create a Ferrari Chariot and Ferrari Pegasus
I want it at any cost 😊😊😊😊
Great tribute to the Daytona
thought it was a Honda accord at first glance lol
Honda CR-Z at the rear
I suggest you don't stand in the way of all the shots.
Bold Design ! Love it
Cant understand the animosity about the appearance. I think this looks great!
It looks great but it's not Ferrari great. If Toyota, Mazda, Maserati or even Lamborghini designed this we would applaud them. But a Ferrari's design language should be special, not only the overall proportion but in the little things. Compare this to F12 and it falls short hard! It's as if the designer copied from Ferrari's past and is taking credit for it.
It's as ugly as a hat full or arseholes.
Lool $660k AUD, gonna be more like a mil mate.
This could split 40-50% of opinions? The small Daytona inspiration at the front is ok. Overall, it does not get my vote. It's like something from an episode of thunderbirds lol. I dislike the rear area of the car, more so from the lights upwards and roof/coupe black and red smooth panels. Not for me at all. I may not think that 100% of all Ferrari sports cars are perfectly proportioned - but this is not really not my cup of tea at all. The black and read at the roof and rear is not my thing. I've cancelled my pre-order... :D
Is it a one off?
Unfortunately, no.
Hopefully
I was expecting something to go up against the Lamborghini Revuelto.
ébueltó comparativè de SF 9 0
Looks like the new 350z
Its a beaut, however it does not posses the wow factor of a top of the range Ferrari, maybe I see much of the Roma ...but nothing beats a v12 ...
A couple too many pennies for my lot, but that's a nice looking car innit? Bet it's a decent bit of fun if cash is something you burn to heat your mansion. VERY nice ride indeed
Yeah I agree it doesn't look as good as the 812 super fast and I personally really like the 3 scoop hood of the 1965 GTO
Looks far better than the 812. It will age better, brilliant design.
Rover SD1 front end
Why does it look like a 2024 Hyundai Elantra at the front? 😂
812 looks better in my opinion
I have nixed feelings about the new model, the Ferrari Pacer.
😮💨
Supra?? 😂
Looks like honda 😅
them Headlights ain't it men
812 and Roma within the design and chassis
It's very handsome but the mechanically package is, shall we say, rather conservative.
The blacked out part in between the headlights looks off, but the rest of it looks way better than the 812.
Honda, Prius, Chinese design, I just read a few comments and each wrote his bullshit. Even the Daytona picture in the video is not enough to make you understand?
Looks like it's worth about 80k.
These cost a LOT more, in Canadian dollars maybe 10 times that! These are VERY expensive indeed :)
The front took from a Ioniq 5 🤮
5:25 Quieter ! I will take a pass !!!!!!
Ah a new Toyota camry 😢
Wow so many experts on these comments. Amazing just how many have so much to say about how bad it looks. I guess these people are just wanting their boring Japanese cars. Personally i rather like it. A bit of unique styling not your normal cloned look alike
When you can't afford it , you become highly critical.
812 running gear Roma chassis Daytona homage nose SF90 tail. This abomination screams “AI designed.” Hopefully Clarkson’s observation holds true: When Ferrari’s F1 team is winning, the road cars are forgettable; and vice versa.
I’m a fan of the classics, but this looks horrible.
Looks classic
Looks more classic than the 812
Serialism and wtf kind of name is that for it
Totally disagree about the looks. I think its fabulous.
It looks just like the classic Ferrari Daytona
Sorry man but its ugly. The f12 was beutiful no one could argue. This...this...is more toyota supra than ferrari
Emperors own clothes - without the badge people would say its ugly.
It has a very peculiar.... look 😏🤧
they fucked the rear lights! they really need to stay true to there dna/design language
how would you describe the front light situation?
as mentioned channeling some Ferrari Daytona vibes … it’s passable but bordering a little busy … but it’s ok. The n/a v12 is its saving grace. F12 would be my dream car one day as I think it’s the best visually of the modern v12s the tdf version would be the ultimate
@@huyaha IMO the front end styling seems a bit too radical for pairing with what is being marketed as the 'classic' v12. Agree that the F12 is beautiful for a front engine Ferrari.
Looks like a Honda or a Kia
Looks better than it's predecessor
Wtf
Just having fun listening to all these car channel announcers completely butcher the Italian language within the first 10 seconds of each video 😅
Damn the done ruined my boi
Why is it this bad looooking nooooooooooo whyyyyyy 😭😭😭😭😭
More beautiful than even the SP3
Definitely not a looker
Yup, Ferrari's current road cars are so good. It's likely that Scuderia will win this year or next. LMAO
Rebodied Roma/f12😂
Im ok with the design, but it is saturated with tech....like, TOO MUCH. There's a reason why the 60's era cars are more visceral, challenging and exciting. The road will always be the road. This much tech is more suitable for aircraft.
Beautiful car, but dude spend the $20 bucks and get a hair cut and a shave.
He can't spend the bread, these are really expensive cars
@@devilsoffspring5519 True. The car takes priority.
Looks like Ferrari stuck a V12 in an EV. This thing is HIDEOUS!
To each their own 'cause I think it's looks graceful and 'funky' at the same time and I really like it! I mean, shit, I can't afford one of these, I wouldn't even want to risk test-driving one. But Ferrari has built some very nice looking cars indeed and this is one of 'em
Ferrari needs Pininfarina back.
The Enzo still looks better.
Can't believe it looks like that 🤮
make it electric and ill buy 3
Cilindri sounds like an itchy medical condition that require oitment.
Unfortunately it's not pretty... especially when compared to the 812.
I don't like where Ferrari is going... 812 looks better
That is not a good looking car at all
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😇😎😎
Why torque is.very low.... 812 comp much better than this
