Francis is the man, he followed his heart & stood against injustice, resulting in one paycheck that surpassed his lifetime earnings since he was a kid. Boxing is where the $$$ is for the top 10 in their weight division. UFC athletes need to strike for at least a year, it's the only way they will be taken seriously. The UFC has the worst pay plan of any sport in the USA, it pays 14-15% of the total revenue to the athletes. The NBA, NFL, NHL & MLB all pay approximately 50% & majority are not taking blows to the head, except the NFL. UFC athletes are top tier athletes & are grossly mistreated when it comes to finances, a strike is UNAVOIDABLE. PAY THE FIGHTERS!!!
There are many reasons why the UFC is the best product in combat sports today and one of them is the meagre fighter pay. It is sad but the reality is UFC fighters are the ones that are laying everything on the line to win the 50 grand bonus. It is a better product than two boxers only punching each other and many a times protecting themselves from taking risks. UFC fighters can only fight thrice a year due to how taxing a fight is on the body. You give them 2 million a fight and they are gone for two years and the UFC wouldnt be able to put up good fights for you and me to appreciate. Its the hard reality. UFC is the only organisation which is able to put together dream fights. Boxing has struggled with it for many years. Only now Saudi Arabia may save boxing! Just may. We'll have to wait and see

Had Wilder won it would have been AJ Wilder, again because of the Saudis. As i said in my comment the Saudis may save boxing, but well have to wait and see! The bottom line is Saudis have to showcase their country and get ready for alternative economies before the EVs take over all over the world.
