    • @@robertcarter1358 I have my suspensions there's plenty of fighters that get away with injections in the UFC too. As far as pride rules goes it's more like an actual fight and most of those KO's didn't come from the extra pride rules. There were a few downed knees, but mostly kicks and punches.

  • Massive respect to the fighters that knew when to stop even without referee interference. As a non fighter (read, basically no martial arts experience) I expect it takes a lot of experience to tell the difference between someone who's hurt to the point that their combat is compromised, and someone who's hurt so bad that they can't compete anymore.

  • My word, that legkick knockout starting from 9:10 is so damn brutal. A clean hit to the head will take you out instantly and the pain clears up after a few days most times, but you just know that that guy is walking on crutches for weeks just to ease the sheer pain walking will cause him the way he got kicked through the ring.

  • I really like the enthusiasm in some cases, but I think the ones that win out for me are when the fighter knocking the person out shows genuine concern, or doesn't let out a big scream. To me, it shows a level of restraint, concern, and respect.

    • Totally agree. That Thai fighter's leg kicks were brutal and caused his opponent's mobility to become crumble. The ref let it went on for too long and his opponent just took too much damage.

  • The refereeing is absolutely stellar at One FC. The fact that in a video of 12 minutes including the most vicious and brutal knockouts, you would have to nitpick to be able to say something bad about how late a fight was stopped is a testament of their quality. Incredibly impressive. 👍

  • One thing combat sports taught me is if you can't knock out your opponent with clean power shots to the head. Then next step is to target the liver. Never underestimate the body shots and if for whatever reason if that some how fails. The next step is attack the legs. If they survive your onslaught you either are in there with a killer and might need to work on your game. Lovely work from ONE Championship
