Well I’ll tell you this, being someone who’s not such an idiot and actually has a clue what’s going on: Israel likely baited and was aware of the impending attack, similar in many ways to the Pearl Harbor attack, for example. And unfortunately for the Palestinians, just as the Japanese populace faced the consequences of their military’s actions, the Palestinian people are now facing the consequences of Hamas’s actions. Did Israel bait the attack? Almost certainly, they’ve wanted to take complete control over Gaza, we know that Netanyahu wanted this. But Hamas still carried out the attack. Both sides are to blame. Now apart from assigning blame, there isn’t much that can be done to actually fix the situation if you’re one of the many that just want people to live in peace. Realistically, Israel-Palestine situation can only end with one side utterly destroyed/expelled, probably Israel in the long run. The status quo is unstable, and can’t last. Therefore, we basically need to pick which side we want to keep, or just stay out of it. Personally, I don’t see why we should lend Israel any support, but I also don’t see why we should lend support to Palestine. If we could rewind time, I personally would have avoided Britain’s attempt at a two state solution, and just let the Palestinians be in charge. Let the Jews come back to Europe or wherever else and not worry about the whole Zionism thing.
The difference is, one is internationally recognised as a nation by the majority of the UN, yet the other is a militia which is internationally recognised as a terrorist group which claims to fight for the independence of the country Israel occupies even though it is not the government of said country. The fact you look at both and say they are both terrible, should be very thought provoking

This youtuber doesnt look at trusted sources or even liveuamap, he just trusts what israel says and ssys that they took the north, and now khan younis but it shows on live ua map, northern gaza isnt fully taken and they are actually retaking it in some areas.
I believe he uses war mapper as a source, which in turn uses geolocation, satellite imagery, and IDF operational control, and I would not take liveuamap to be an accurate source, for example the IDF cleared Ash Shati and the North Gazan port back in November, but liveuamap falsely puts it as Hamas controlled.
I'm tired of seeing this "Free Palestine" bot comments in every video's comment section including those that have nothing to do with the current conflict. Some people even believe that saying this word to an Israeli makes them them to fight for "justice." Why can’t people say free Palestine from Hamas instead? Do the people who post this phrase everywhere realise they’re indirectly blaming Israel for this entire conflict? Did they forget the war started because Hamas attacked Israel, took innocent civilians as hostages, raped women, and killed them? Ironically, they also say that it's the Palestinians "fighting back" for their "lands." Israel should respect the human rights of people in Gaza, but they need to defeat Hamas if they want to survive as a nation. As far as I can tell, the only way to do this is by invading the territory. Imagine how much longer World War II would have lasted if the allies had not invaded Germany. None of the people calling for peace right now have any practical solutions. It is the same Arab and Palestinian groups that cheered and celebrated this attacks and are now weeping when Israel is justifiably protecting and defending its people from terrorism.

No it’s not. Genocide is the active aggression against a different country’s ethnic people with the goal of wiping the said peoples out solely because of hatred to their race. Israel so far has: 1- Defended itself from a Hamas act of aggression which by definition was a genocide against Israelis. 2- Israel’s goal is not to kill or wipe out the ethnic Palestinians, rather their goal is to occupy all of Gaza by force. 3- Israel gave evacuation orders to ethnic Palestinians in Gaza with the recommendation of moving south out of the country. If Israel’s goal was genocide no evacuation orders would be given.
