Lamborghini was literally the nicest dealership I went into on Friday (Ferrari, Mclaren, BMW, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce) They could easily tell me (a 16 year old) was not looking to buy a car but asked if I needed help with anything or wanted to see anything. Super friendly staff and ended up actually buying a Lego countach 😃. They wrapped it up in wrapping paper and put it in a bag and thanked me for coming in

I went to a Lamborghini dealership once with my dad and I thought that taking pictures was banned. The salesman literally welcomed us like any other dealership, with respect. Even though we said that we won't buy anything, they still let us in and we talked about the car. They were even kind enough to let me sit inside one of the cars and take a few pictures.

One of our family friends is a multi-millionaire. He wanted a Ferrari a decade ago and got practically laughed out of the showroom floor (he dresses in jeans and flannel button shirts and old man Reeboks). Long story short, he's a dedicated Chevy guy now and has a giant external garage full of vintage Camaros and Corvettes and buys new ones anytime new models drop. Ferrari fucked up big time.

Ferrari is in such high demand, their full production is sold-out ahead of time. New-Ferrari wait lists are years long. When demand is THAT high, Ferrari can be choosy as to who they sell cars to. Nobody cares if you like it or not - Ferrari doesn't 'need' you.

If so then you should know that Ferrari had sent a warning to deadmau5 for trademark infringement and not the wrap. It was because of the custom badges he put on his car and even though Lamborghini allowed him to mess with their badges, a trademark but somehow sued a restaurant for trademark infringement because the restaurant's logo was similar to theirs. Double standards from Lamborghini. Now, it's upto you to judge and you still may opine that Lamborghini is better than Ferrari as a company.

Ferrari is making decent cars, but they never stick with anything. They are said to release 15 new cars in the next 3 years, which is too many imo. Their new demographic is old people with too much money. Gone are the days when young people can own Ferraris without getting sued and their car taken away.

Ferrari historically have shorter life cycles for their products, ex - the 360, 430, 458, 488, F8 all had shorter life cycles compared to the equivalent Lamborghini - Gallardo and Huracan. The reason behind is to stay relevant and on par or ahead of the competition. Ferrari never made all these cars at the same time and each one succeeded the other unlike Lambo where you can see a bunch of pointless and meaningless variants on sale at the same time ex - Huracan EVO RWD and Tecnica or Urus S and Peformante. Also, let's not talk about those few off rebodied Aventador's with more than a million dollar price tag, bunch of cash grab cars. Lamborghini's were never a driver's car, the STO and Performante changed that notion to a bit but still compared to equivalent Porsche's and Ferrari's they were behind. Also I've seen Lambo benchmarking their cars against older generations Ferrari's - the Huracan was benchmarked against a 5-6year older 458 and the same happened when the SF90, almost 4 years old now, was benchmarked against the Aventador replacement.

Thing is, it's not only ferrari that's doing that, they just get the most light on it, Porsche, lamborghini and most other supercars or in general luxury oriented cars do that. It's mostly for more of the higher end models, it's a list you get onto with prior ownership of their more "budget" models.

You can't do that with Ferrari. In Pagani's case, they build very few cars per year (not even 50) so Horatio Pagani himself is very selective : for example, there is a 0% chance you can buy a Pagani if you're a lottery winner or a soccer player. There's also zero Pagani merch because Pagani wants to keep the exclusivity

He talks about McLaren and how he owned one, that when he took it to the dealership there was a upgrade available for his car to make more power and when Jay asked how much it would be the dealership said it would be free. McLaren doesn't try to shake you down. Ferrari dealers literally try to make you spend as much as they can get out of you. They have the mentality that you owe them. They don't owe you. That's the type of service they have.

I found out that he said the application process and ownership rules for the Ford GT, from his video, was good and justified and looking at the Ford GT application rules, there was one particular rule or condition which was regarding how many other Ford cars the applicant owned. But when the Ferrari dealership asked him to own a few Ferrari's before owning a special Ferrari, he became a very grumpy man!

My old boss wanted a mid to high tier Ferrari and was denied. They wanted to sell him an entry level car and let him own that for 2 years before letting him buy a better car. Me his low level employee had owned a Dino and a 208 GT4 many years ago, was sent in to purchase his car for him, a California hard top if I remember. He kept it registered to me for 2 years and drove the Hell out of it before selling it to himself and paying the transfer taxes so he could then buy a 248 I think. They look at your ownership history and decide what level car you can buy. 😂 It was back in 2013ish and the California was close to $300,000 as spec’d but he could have flipped it for $425,000 the next day with 5 miles on the odometer. I drove it a couple times and in all honesty a well kitted Supra is better imo, and way cheaper with less maintenance problems.

My grandpa once told me a time when he walked into a Lamborghini Dealership, they looked at his eyes and went up to shake his hand looking at his palm and the dealer asked. "You wont't regret your purchase, whether it be time or car" He then bought an Audi Quattro based on the Lambo dealer's recommendation and said "talking to that dealer was worth grandma's fury" I was then told to just buy a Hyundai or Toyota and maybe a Porsche and call it a day.

Super friendly staff and ended up actually buying a Lego countach 😃. They wrapped it up in wrapping paper and put it in a bag and thanked me for coming in

I went to a Lamborghini dealership once with my dad and I thought that taking pictures was banned. The salesman literally welcomed us like any other dealership, with respect. Even though we said that we won't buy anything, they still let us in and we talked about the car. They were even kind enough to let me sit inside one of the cars and take a few pictures.
Porsche also treat you with the same respect.

Ferrari historically have shorter life cycles for their products, ex - the 360, 430, 458, 488, F8 all had shorter life cycles compared to the equivalent Lamborghini - Gallardo and Huracan. Ferrari never made all these cars at the same time and each one succeeded the other unlike Lambo where you can see a bunch of pointless and meaningless variants on sale at the same time ex - Huracan EVO RWD and Tecnica or Urus S and Peformante. Also, let's not talk about those few off rebodied Aventador's with more than a million dollar price tag, bunch of cash grab cars. Lamborghini's were never a driver's car, the STO and Performante changed that notion to a bit but still compared to equivalent Porsche's and Ferrari's they were behind. Thing is, it's not only ferrari that's doing that, they just get the most light on it, Porsche, lamborghini and most other supercars or in general luxury oriented cars do that. It's mostly for more of the higher end models, it's a list you get onto with prior ownership of their more "budget" models.

You can't do that with Ferrari. In Pagani's case, they build very few cars per year (not even 50) so Horatio Pagani himself is very selective : for example, there is a 0% chance you can buy a Pagani if you're a lottery winner or a soccer player. There's also zero Pagani merch because Pagani wants to keep the exclusivity

My old boss wanted a mid to high tier Ferrari and was denied. They wanted to sell him an entry level car and let him own that for 2 years before letting him buy a better car. Me his low level employee had owned a Dino and a 208 GT4 many years ago, was sent in to purchase his car for him, a California hard top if I remember. He kept it registered to me for 2 years and drove the Hell out of it before selling it to himself and paying the transfer taxes so he could then buy a 248 I think. They look at your ownership history and decide what level car you can buy. 😂 It was back in 2013ish and the California was close to $300,000 as spec’d but he could have flipped it for $425,000 the next day with 5 miles on the odometer. I drove it a couple times and in all honesty a well kitted Supra is better imo, and way cheaper with less maintenance problems.
