One of my favourite players ever. Her one handed backhand was absolutely beautiful and her all court game was impressive.
Absolutely!!! And a very nice and sympathic woman🙂❤️👌!!!
Fantastic one hand backhand....
Me too.
hands down, she was one of the greatest ive ever seen. not going to compare or play that "who was the goat", but she is really close to the goat title i would say.
Mine as well, she was brilliant in all aspects of the game… serve, volley, drops, backhand, forehand, court coverage, strategy, mental toughness… a complete player with an elegant game. She is my all time favorite.
My very favorite woman tenis player from all times, her single hand backhand was unbelivable, we miss you "petite"
The last of the true dominant, all-court players on the WTA. The “last” only because coaches just don’t teach it and juniors don’t have the patience because it takes most too long to learn the transition part of it. So, 1-dimensional tennis is what we get to watch now.
She reminds me of RF ! ❤❤❤
My only favourite female Tennis player....Justine was a beauty....her one handed backhand was as graceful as Federer
Was the one player on the WTA that would often get the better of Serena during her brief 5-6 year stint of dominance. She beat her in 3 straight slams in 2007. It’s a shame she retired so early. She played a style that you only really see the men pulling off.
Perfect summary. If you notice, she even has the 'ATP' Modern forehand style with the shorter backswing, like a Federer or Nadal.
But Serena has a 8-6 record against her. You know that?
@@marc-andregauthier5139and…
@@marc-andregauthier5139Entirely different level of steroid use.
@@charlesfaure1189 Serena was tested and tested and tested and never failed a drug test. Sorry that you are offended by a woman who achieved unparalleled success without ever resorting to cheating. You might want to redirect that anger to some other players, not Serena though. And Justine had a losing record versus Serena but was a fantastic opponent who had a few salty moments towards the Williams sisters.
Greatest backhand in tennis history.
This is unreal there's no womens tennis player that could match the skills of henin they talk about her backhand but look at power of the lethal forehand its strong big and versetile.
I miss her so much 🤩
That technique... Best in women's tennis.
She was untouchable in 2007. She didn't drop a set throughout the tournament.
Small trivia:- Henin is the only female tennis of 21st century to played all 4 slams final in a year (2006). Graf done that 3 times (1988, 89, 93) the most.🙌🙌
hingis 1997 too
@@sudthatus I say in 21st century. Yeah Hingis done it in 1997. But from 2000 Henin is the only female tennis player to achieve that feat.
@@rajusaha855yes thanks to Roberta Vinci
That match against Venus was insane. They were the two players with the highest level that tournament. Beating peak Venus is no easy feat. I was gutted for Vee because she played unbelievable level but Justine found a level higher. That was the final for me. Whoever won that match would win the tournament. Beating both Williams en route to the final. What a player. One of the very few who could consistently challenge Serena.
HER GAME WAS BEAUTIFUL
The freakin first point.... That's EXACTLY what Federer would've done... Or rather, Federer just copied Justine Henin 😝 What a freaking legend
#9 should be #1 Maybe the greatest passing shot of all time
Miss you Justine! ❤ My favorite
La semifinal 2003 vs Capriati fue uno de los mejores-sino el mejor- partidos de la historia del tenis femenino y el primer set de la semifinal 2007 vs Venus Williams fue el mejor tenis de mujeres que se ha visto en el UsOpen...
0:23 That's what I call a BACKHAND
Amazing player my favortie female player to watch! She had amazing technique so beautiful tennis
Everyone accused her and Serena of doping. They sad Justine was too small to win and Serena looked too muscular for a woman. Both of their bodies were heavily criticized throughout their careers. They struggled heavily mentally because of this but they silenced the haters. Turns out everyone’s darling Sharapova, whose body everyone praised, was the actual doper. The irony. The men never received this level of criticism on their bodies.
After Steffi Graf she is my favourite tennis player. In fact women's tennis were not the same after her retirement. May Iga Swiatek change my mind some day.
my all time favourite womens player. i just clocked that I have been watching tennis since i was 10
Those times when you could remember Women tennis player names....
Indeed
what does this mean? i dont understand
lol
Dementia?
Che spettacolo che era Justine❤
Henin isn't a person I've thought about in years. I had a one handed backhand though and of course I liked to watch and take inspiration from her :)
Une vraie championne et super sympa en vrai aussi
Pete Sampras and JH my two favourite players to watch!
The best one backhand wowen ever
My dream is to meet her in person and get an autograph maybe. Legend!
❤❤❤

Henin...comeback
She's 41 years old.
henin forever
Hold on, the Henin vs Venus match was a SF MATCH up between the reigning French Open vs the Reigning Wimbledon champion. The match was an insane match, the best of the tournament, even probably the best match of the whole 2007 WTA season in my opinion. They didnt meet in the QF, it was a SEMIFINAL match, the player that Henin had to face in the QF is none other than Serena Williams, she lost in the first GRAND SLAM BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS at the QF as the reigning 2007 AUS OPEN CHAMP VS 2007 French Open that year. It was a season where Henin had won 2 GS TITLES out of 3 tournaments she entered, she didnt participate in the AUS OPEN that year to resolve her personal issues with her family and ending her first marriage in divorce. Each Williams sisters got one title each, with Henin leading the whole pack of wta players as the world champion. Her level at this particular US OPEN was insane, the only minor flaw that she was still struggling with during the tournament as she has always been with her game in general, is her inconsistent first serve. While her serve wasnt necessarily a bad weapon, it has a tendency to become less effective due to its low percentage first serve delivery, but she doesnt have a weak 2nd serve as well. The serve are just not an outstanding part of Henin's game if we can compare it to Serena's serve or Venus. However, the rest of the other type of versatility and her tennis arsenals were shown at the very best here at the US OPEN. IT WAS SO TOUGH TO GET to the ball and effectively redirect a passing shot to get her out of position at the net, eventhough she's very tiny. Her speed and footwork was impeccable, the groundstrokes were spraying all over the court like a huge canon, amazing tournament for her. Miss Henin so much
Never seen in Women Tennis History a Backhsnd like this.... Something Unbelievable.....
That backhand. Just delicious
Лучшая!
единственная за кого я болел из соперниц российских теннесисток. для меня лучшая в истории женского тенниса
There’s Roger Federer & Justine Henin.

👋
Justine looks like Carlos Teves
lf she did not retire Serena Williams grandslam tittle would be only 10_14
❤❤
Its too bad her wins are tarnished by doping bans. She was too small physically so she doped to win and got multiple bans.
it's too bad you have no evidence to back up your statement and feel the need to post your comment again to make yourself relevant, where was the evidence I asked for? You still haven't responded with any links. Now, you are saying being small, caused players to dope, that's means ash Barty and Billie jean king were doping too according to your statement. you have nothing to back up your statements and are starting to look delusional.
Serena doped as much as Henin.
I think ur a african american who hates blonde people if they dominate serena u just can't take it ur a racist ur just here to bash henin putting loaded comments shame on u
@@carrerau7138 A list was leaked and Henin was on the list. I didn't see either Williams sisters.
@@chrisak49 A list was leaked, yeah….. 😂 You are a US citizen by chance…? 😄😆
Wonder what Henin's career would be if she didn't dope.
I guess you've got some "inside knowledge" that nobody else knows?
@@redfalcon3721t’s hardly “insider knowledge”. Everyone knows she got a silent ban in 2008 that lasted for 15 months. She came back in 2010 but got caught again in 2011 and got permanently banned. Once a cheater, always a cheater.
@@akizaizinskii Rumours that "everyone" knows.
She never doped.
@@rajusaha855 No I don't believe she did, she was just a great player. There's so much BS on the internet.
