How to Secure Your Wealth During a Crisis - Robert Kiyosaki, Kim Kiyosaki,

2022 ж. 1 Қар.
421 035 Рет қаралды

US government bonds are considered risk-free. The interest rate at which all other bonds can be sold is determined by this risk-free rate on US government bonds plus a risk premium, which depends on the creditworthiness of the debt issuers. Therefore, when the yield on the government bond rises, the interest rates on mortgages, corporate bonds, credit cards, and student loans also rise-unless you’re in an inverted yield curve. Today’s guest explains what a bond is, what bonds are the safest, and the best place to put your money.
Adam Taggart, Founder of Wealthion, says, “An inverted yield curve is one of the most dependable signals for an approaching recession, and you should say to yourself, ‘I have to get prepared that we may be entering a pretty material recession.’”
Hosts Robert and Kim Kiyosaki and guest Adam Taggart discuss the likeness of a recession, the safety of investing bonds, and how to secure your wealth during the next financial crisis.

  • Wonderful insight. Banks couldn’t just offload the long term bonds like that. They were on the books as “held to maturity”. If they’d moved them to “available for sale” they would have taken a massive write-down on the value of the bonds. With the 2008 financial crisis, which led to the decline of several money market funds below $1, brokerage companies began to acquire banks.I have pulled out more than $340k from my bank. After all, the FDIC covers only up to $250,000, and the implosion could have bad effect. Looking to invest into the stock market now.

We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing. The way I see it if you have a $1 million at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k-70k in dividend income...

My stock equities portfolio, at $750K, is in the red. I'm constantly losing due to inflation. This world will crumble under its dictatorial rulers, just as Rome did. If you are thinking about retiring but are worried that your pension won't cover the rising cost of living, I apologize. Diversify your investments, including your 401(k), stock portfolio, and ideally your real estate assets and REITs. The long term is the secret to building wealth. If the USA ever opts for a digital currency I would support that as long as it is backed by and can be exchanged with gold and managed/issued directly by the Treasury Department and not the Federal Reserve which I would support dissolving/disbanding.

  • Love your tuna analogy. I'm doing it here in South Africa....pressure canning food as fast as I can and focussing on meat. Our money is becoming worthless and I'm a pensioner. Now and then I manage to buy some silver coins. I am nowhere near the levels that you guys are operating at financially but I have learned a lot from you....actually almost too late. Thanks so much for your vlogs. Much appreciated. Blessings from Cape Town. ❤🇿🇦
