The End is commonly referred to as a ‘trap level’, meant to mislead Wanderers into thinking they have escaped the Backrooms. The layout of The End consists of a seemingly endless modern library, with the main area in the center decorated with letters reading 'THE END'. Wanderers who enter this level will experience nearly complete silence, with some areas measuring to below -6.2dB. The center region of the level is nearly as silent as the rest, though the computer terminals within buzz loudly. It is recommended to remain in this area and not explore further to avoid getting lost. Exiting The End is very difficult due to the unstable nature of its geometry. For example, the level seems to loop when walking in a single defined direction. However, turning around at this point may cause one to run into a wall. Exits do exist, but there is currently no feasible method of documenting them. In addition, the level can render wanderers unable to perceive others, even if they are within close proximity. It is rumored that this level may be a cover-up for the “true end” of the Backrooms. Some say this level has a hidden gateway to arguably the true final level: Level 9223372036854775807. If one uses the computer (pictured) and runs H97Run.exe, it will transport one to The Hub. After walking through the door, several different possible outcomes will occur: The door that one entered from will disappear; After staying within The End for an undefined amount of time, one may be sent to a random level

Always wanted a crisp the end found footage. Always gotta respect the glitches. Also, that part where the wall was closing in, was SUPER cool! A fun fact about "the end" is that the original picture was taken from a Borders Bookstore that was being closed, some person wrote "the End is Near" on the board thing for fun. This is so accurate. To the environment aesthetics to the camera shaking everywhere when he’s in level ! But what I like most is that the camera shakes for a while in his hands after level ! It’s either from the knowledge that he could’ve died so easily, or the facts that he ran 6 miles at top speed while being chased by several entity’s.

I like the transition from Level ! (aka "Run for your life") to "The End"... and the video does do well on representing a running sequence by swaying the camera like they arnt trying to record the experience of running.

I worked for Borders Books for years. One of my jobs was to travel around and help open new stores, so I got to see quite a few of them before they were stocked and were nothing but bare shelves, just like this. Watching this video gave me such an overwhelming sense of dread because the setting was just so familiar.

I really liked this entry! I have only recently "discovered" The Backroom genre, so these are still quite new to me. I especially like how you added a realistic bit of dialogue (the young man wondering...naturally....what he was seeing wasn't making any sense). The way the walls sent him FLYING was the best twist....very original & dream-like! I look forward to more of these. :)

I miss Borders. Even as late as high school I would usually go there after school every afternoon. Most of the times just buying a drink and nothing else but the occasional magazine. Oop- Edit: finally finished it and this is epic merchant! I love how it tied in with the last rfyl backrooms video and the smoothness to it. The sound effects were great too! But may I suggest that you add some glitching effects to the video and a small buzzing sound since it's the backrooms? The camera quality probably wouldn't be that good down there and it would be glitching left right and centre due to the bad connection down there Other than that this was incredible! Well done mate!

I always thought it was odd about Found-Footage when the person is doing all kinds of running & surviving yet never instinctively "ditches" the camera. A series of Go-Pro style FF videos would be quite intriguing and may even be a step-up to the genre. The End is commonly referred to as a ‘trap level’, meant to mislead Wanderers into thinking they have escaped the Backrooms. The layout of The End consists of a seemingly endless modern library, with the main area in the center decorated with letters reading 'THE END'. Wanderers who enter this level will experience nearly complete silence, with some areas measuring to below -6.2dB. The center region of the level is nearly as silent as the rest, though the computer terminals within buzz loudly. It is recommended to remain in this area and not explore further to avoid getting lost. Exiting The End is very difficult due to the unstable nature of its geometry. For example, the level seems to loop when walking in a single defined direction. However, turning around at this point may cause one to run into a wall. Exits do exist, but there is currently no feasible method of documenting them. In addition, the level can render wanderers unable to perceive others, even if they are within close proximity. It is rumored that this level may be a cover-up for the “true end” of the Backrooms. Some say this level has a hidden gateway to arguably the true final level: Level 9223372036854775807. If one uses the computer (pictured) and runs H97Run.exe, it will transport one to The Hub. After walking through the door, several different possible outcomes will occur: The door that one entered from will disappear; After staying within The End for an undefined amount of time, one may be sent to a random level

Really Really good! I liked everything in this video! The only thing I thought was slightly annoying was that the camera was a little too shaky in the still moments, but even then that could be called realistic because who wouldn't be shaking?

Always wanted a crisp the end found footage. Always gotta respect the glitches. Also, that part where the wall was closing in, was SUPER cool! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! I loved the voice acting and the whole thing felt so.. human with the breathing, shaking, etc. Really made me feel for the guy. Sound effects were also on point- scary and unsettling. Love it.

I really love the moving wall. As much as I always love the various creatures roaming the halls in backrooms media, I always find it much more interesting when the halls *themselves* are somewhat alive and hostile to some degree. Really cool video!

A fun fact about "the end" is that the original picture was taken from a Borders Bookstore that was being closed, some person wrote "the End is Near" on the board thing for fun. This is so accurate. To the environment aesthetics to the camera shaking everywhere when he’s in level ! But what I like most is that the camera shakes for a while in his hands after level ! It’s either from the knowledge that he could’ve died so easily, or the facts that he ran 6 miles at top speed while being chased by several entity’s.
Everything you do in these videos are amazing unlike other videos, you show different sections of the levels, show the entities, have voice acting. Keep it up

I like the transition from Level ! (aka "Run for your life") to "The End"... and the video does do well on representing a running sequence by swaying the camera like they arnt trying to record the experience of running.

Overall this is one of the best videos of backrooms I've ever seen! If I tried to make one of these vids it would take me a good 7 months and you did it in a month or so your a great animator keep up the good work!

I worked for Borders Books for years. One of my jobs was to travel around and help open new stores, so I got to see quite a few of them before they were stocked and were nothing but bare shelves, just like this. Watching this video gave me such an overwhelming sense of dread because the setting was just so familiar.

I really liked this entry! I have only recently "discovered" The Backroom genre, so these are still quite new to me. I especially like how you added a realistic bit of dialogue (the young man wondering...naturally....what he was seeing wasn't making any sense). The way the walls sent him FLYING was the best twist....very original & dream-like! I look forward to more of these. :)
This is amazing, camera work looks realistic and all. My only suggestion is to add even more vintage VHS kinda filters and effects over the video.

I miss Borders. Even as late as high school I would usually go there after school every afternoon. Most of the times just buying a drink and nothing else but the occasional magazine. Sampling at the music section and skimming through the books was so fun. Cool video especially the ending with the Windows 98 computer

Oop- Edit: finally finished it and this is epic merchant! I love how it tied in with the last rfyl backrooms video and the smoothness to it. The sound effects were great too! But may I suggest that you add some glitching effects to the video and a small buzzing sound since it's the backrooms? The camera quality probably wouldn't be that good down there and it would be glitching left right and centre due to the bad connection down there Other than that this was incredible! Well done mate!
This part of the back rooms is described in the lore as being very quiet which may explain the quiet in the video

I always thought it was odd about Found-Footage when the person is doing all kinds of running & surviving yet never instinctively "ditches" the camera. A series of Go-Pro style FF videos would be quite intriguing and may even be a step-up to the genre.
