This is one of the best Grand Slam Finals that Maria has played she won the 2008 Australian Open without dropping a set and she has only won 1 Australian Open title I would love to see her win it again for a second time.

Ana Ivanovic always looks so friendly, so feminine, so delicate, so pretty... And she smiles, even during her most stressful times. I never saw her giving a tantrum or being aggressive. Sad to see that she does not play anymore, because EVERYBODY AROUND THE WORLD LOVES HER.

LOL that is so true. I think it's her grunting that puts people off. If it's annoying as a viewer at home can you imagine how annoying it must be in the stadium. plus IMO Ana just comes across as being a bit more likable.

Most of those female Russian players began to hate Ana because wherever she went to play, EVERYBODY LOVED HER! And, that is a fact ! Even in the USA, when she played against Serena Williams, within 30 minutes the people began to part for Ana, just because she showed that she is a kind, sweet and zero-confrontation player. And, she is beautiful too! We will miss Ana.

Maria's grunting was bearable here. Then got much worse the rest of her career. Ana really had her chances in the first set. But Maria is a little stronger physically and mentally and I think that was the difference in this grand slam final. Maria is also tougher too. This was certainly the most beautiful grand slam final I've ever seen. ;) I don't know who the announcers were but they were excellent. And the man talked about their feminine biceps at one point. I think he said the feminine bulges they have in the bicep. Interesting comment that I don't know would be as tolerated in 2021. It's a woke world now so who knows. I think both players deserve to be in the Hall of fame.

Ana is more likeable than Maria in many more ways, even though it's Maria who is the more successful by a long shot. Ana can't beat Maria on a tennis court (2-7 H2H) but the only thing that she can really beat Maria in is in the glamour stakes ;)

La mayoría de los atletas se dopan legal o ilegalmente, pues siempre que uses una droga para mejorar tu rendimiento físico o mental, ya es dopaje. Otra cosa es que los organismos encargados no se pongan de acuerdo y hay drogas que a veces son ilegales y aveces no, Sharapova llevaba años tomando esa droga, pero no era ilegal, la volvieron ilegal unos meses antes. Ahora, si cada atleta que ha usado una sustancia ilegal fuera suspendido entonces nadie tendría título alguno, ahí están las Williams que llevan años dopándose con Metilfedinato, bajo el argumento de que padecen Déficit de atención. En cuanto a Ana no me sorprendería que haga las mismas cosas, en cuanto renunció a su equipo de entrenadores dejo de ganar, y no sólo es que dejo de ganar, se convirtió en una tenista del montón, a lo mejor ya no la dopaban adecuadamente, tanto que hasta adelgazo dramáticamente.
