    • That's why tennis is so unforgiving. You have to play your best tennis every single round against some of the best players out there. One bad day at the office and you are out. That's why I find people laughing at players loosing a final so stupid. They have no idea what a monumental effort it is to reach a final in a Grand Slam.

    • I don’t think it was against Osaka in particular. I mean, Halep gave her one of the worst beatings of her life in a GS final and she wasn’t bothered at all. The issue is as that the top half of the draw was a joke, making the match against Osaka the last real hurdle to the trophy. Serena turns into a nervous mess when she’s close to breaking records, not because she’s bothered by any particular player.

  • Sabalenka definitely played better here than Osaka did against Serena. Serena unfortunately showed up at 10% potential against Osaka. That's okay, because Serena still GAINED lots of points from this AO, improving from a 3rd round loss in 2020 to a SF appearance in 2021. She will re-enter the Top 10 and she needs to focus on the fact that at her elite level she is still IMPROVING! Hence the frauds who say she "needs to retire" have no idea what it looks like to put in work and IMPROVE, even leaps and bounds above other WTA players 10+ years younger than her. So its not that something extraordinary happened and serena lost, she was supposed to lose against naomi 5) And i am saying again you cant say every time that serena loses that it was on her, It may makes u feel better but that has nothing to do with reality and it will also not win her the 24 major. Serena in her last year before retirement defeats the young Sabalenka, who has become a source of fear for all current tennis players. But look at Serena, what a talented queen she is. I believe if Sabalenka had faced Serena from ten years before this video, she might not have been able to win a single set. Have we lost a lot???

I can take Aszeranka, because though she’s loud, she doesn’t scream. But Sabalika and Sharapova are just too loud. Now that Screama is gone, Sabalika has replaced her. If someone was killing her, nobody would call 911, because they‘ll think she’s just practicing tennis.
