UPGRADED AMG A35 By Brabus!! A first exclusive look at the A45 rivalling hatch! Welcome back to RBR guys and today we we get a first world exclusive look at Brabus’ first upgrade program for the New A Class - the Brabus B35S with the “BRABUS PowerXtra B 35 tuning kit” upgrade. The standard A35 is a great car, being close in terms of drive train and feel to the old A45. But it always felt slower than that flagship A45.
Thats were the makers of monsters, #Brabus, come in!! The B35S provides a plug-in solution giving the #A35 365BHP and 460NM of torque! It also has a host of design and subtle carbon fibre upgrades to this initial version that we will explore, as well as the valve control exhaust you’ll hear!

    • Your performance review recently in respect of the new AMG A45S really piqued my interest. 421 HP is not to be ignored! My question to you is when will the Brabus A45S (aka. B45S) go into production/become available? Then there's the question of the likelihood of buying this vehicle in Australia and in compliance with local ADR's. I have yet to track down the Australian Brabus agent. I loved your coverage of the Blue 4 door C63S. That's a wild machine! It's just a little too big for my needs and above my pay grade. Keep up the great vids as they are far better then your "competition".

  • I literally saw this video by fluke !!!! I have an A45 AMG and I really want to take it to Brabus but I’m not sure if the money to power is get is worth it ...??! I have 381bhp any suggestions of how much it would cost for the extra 30bhp and is it really worth it ?

  • Bummed they didnt get rid of the piano black plastic.. It feels cheap and attracts dust/scratches. Also, the plastic by your head on the standard car is scratchy and feels cheap, was hoping they at least uphostered. But as you said, they wanted to keep the cost down.

    • nevarran I was thinking the same... until for the exhaust and power upgrade came in at £3,700 and then I started to think... £62/hp gained is not worth it!

  • I'm not too bummed about the A35 being underpowered. Mercedes shouldn't entertain fantasies too much because the A35 cannot be as fast or as highly powered as an outgoing A45. Respect for the outgoing range topper must be maintained. Same way that a Gti club sport can't be as fast as the non facelifted Golf R just because it's a new model in the range... equally so a 440i cannot be faster than a e90 m3.

  • there's really no point in this brabus upgrade. I think the look of the a35 looks better. And the sound isn't much different. You could purchase a custom exhaust and it will sound 10x better than this. And then you could have the car mapped which wouldn't cost a lot.
