For some reason I haven't watched this version of Ogni Pietra before, so it was very interesting. Thank you Dr. Marisan! The event was Igor Krutoy's 65th "birthday party". All songs and instrumental pieces were composed by Igor Krutoy. Besides Ogni Pietra Dimash performed the songs Know, Passione, Ulisse (with Aida Garifullina) and Ti Amo Cosi (with Aida Gaifullina and Lara Fabian). The most popular version of Ogni Pietra is the one performed in Dimash's solo concert Arnau. I so loved Igor's piano playing in this version! I mean I always love his piano playing due to his incredible control and exquisite humble support of the musical arrangement (his of course!) and voice of the singer he's playing with, but he also varies his emphases and in this version he added this dramatic super sweet quick double high note emphasis (there must be a proper musical term for it) after each time Dimash sang the line "Sei forte, sai!" (and similar), leaving just the right amount of air/time -- about half a second -- for the line's impact to settle, and synchronized with the choir beginning their echo of the line. That was so pleasing to my ears!

If there's one song that really shows off his _bel canto_ and more technically trained side, «Olimpico» would be it - the super-clear vowels, impeccable posture and relaxed, dropped jaw is just👌😙 *chef's kiss - you could almost say, it's jaw-dropping! (I'll get my coat, lol!) Written by Igor Krutoy for Dimash to perform at the 2019 European Olympics, the song is so positive and motivational and just perfect for such sporting events, that imo it really should be adopted as the Olympic Official Theme - though of course, I might be just a teeny bit biased! May I ask if you'd also please react to the following song of this concert, his operatic duet «Ulisse» with Aida Garifullina? It's my favourite of all Dimash's (many!) collaborations, yet it's almost criminally under-reacted to on YT, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! Haha, watch more of Dimash to see he can swich from extreme high to very low in less than a second. And Dimash did master every register. From vocal fry till whisle note. (He has the worldrecord for highest note in a live performance.)
This is the first song that between C4 and C5, due to the high volume he's producing, the sound of a counter-tenor is shimmering through. Usually he sings a lighter soprano than that. It's rare that you can hear these two different characteristics of the two colours in one person next to each other in a song. If it would, maybe we could avoid some of those "falsetto" discussions.

Thank you for finding this performance of Olimpico! I’ve seen two or three other versions of Olimpico but never from this incredible concert with Igor Krutoy’s accompaniment on piano. This same gala had such incredible performances such as the trio Ti Amo Cosi with Dimash, Aida Garifiulina and Lara Fabian along with other incredible performances by Dimash and Igor’s favourite artists. Dimash's repertoire is large so you have the choice: in operatic style: Passione or Ti amp cosi, emotional ones: Daybreak (Bastau version, important to know the real story behind the song), Love is like a dream, Love of tired swans, cover: Hello (L. Richie), Adagio (L. Fabian), Kazakh folk songs: Daididau, Samaltau, Qairan Elim, crazy vocal acrobatics: Your love, Stranger, Know (my absolute favorite one, with lyrics or vocalise version, both are absolutely breathtaking). You said that he can sing in every register, you will see that he can sing in every genre... He is an absolute genius.

Diana (dramatic contralto, "Queen of Goosebumps") 18 for Can't Help Falling In Love, 15 Wicked Game, 14 Rechenka. Angelina (won Norway's Got Talent at 7, Barefoot Princess") 9 I Put A Spell On You, 13 for Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT,. Dimash, Diana, and Angelina are the "Prodigy Trifecta," jaw-droppers all. There are loads of fantastic female singers who are not as you describe'pop dance and skin show'.To name a few that I have discovered on youtube-Angelina Jordan,Aurora,and Eivor.Dimash and Angelina are my favourite singers.Diana is not my cup of tea, I don't think she has a beautiful voice.Unique, yes,and no doubt a very good singer, but it sounds a bit creepy, to me, anyway.

I am sorry, she was 11, now 12. Also, in the Semis (I gave you the Audition), by the end, she sings duet with herself, kind of harmonising. It is different from Diana Ankudinova and some others, singing sub harmonies. If I remember right, she does the trick in Finals, as well.
