DIMASHHH!!!! OGNI PIETRA!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!
Thank you all so much for waiting and for recommending Dimash to me. This journey has been incredible and I really feel like I have learned a great deal just by watching and analyzing his technique. There is more Dimash to come but I really feel like this was a milestone for me. It's longer because I used the official video and then at the end skipped around through fancam- I'm glad I did because you see his face so well, but truly the audio from it is terrible so I'm glad I listened to the official video first lol!
As always, I know react is in the title, but I do strive to do deconstructions and analysis of technique. When I listen, I am more focused on really understanding physiologically what is going on that making silly faces- but I promise my brain and heart are both exploding during this.
Also, we're almost at 10,000 subscribers! That's insane. Clau and I are very very grateful for your love and support- and we hope you are all staying healthy and safe right now.

  • If he just did traditional Opera, nobody would know who he is. Opera singers around the world should be in awe of Dimash for bringing light to a forgotten form of music. Dimash is making Opera Great again. I can't stand Opera but I can't stop listening to Dimash sing it because he's bringing it into the 21st century. I shouldn't say I can't stand Opera, I've never really given it a chance before because it just wasn't my cup of tea but Dimash is making it cool to listen to.

    • I kinda've to make a sort of confession. Before Dimash I used to look down and even refuse to listen to the voice of the male sopranists and countertenors. It seemed to me that they were somehow usurping the role of female soprano opera singers. I used to tell myself, why to hear this?, I better listen to a real woman sing. For me, Montserrat Caballé and Diana Damrau were unbeatable and incomparable in terms of opera, since I grew up listening to them because my mother was a huge admirer of opera and they were her favorites of different eras. But from Dimash onwards, that is to say a little less than four years ago, my musical taste in terms of voices changed. I've been able to "accept" the talent of countertenors in a better way. I have come to enjoy to hear them sing. For example I love Forestella. However, nothing compares to Dimash, his talent uniqueness and musical eclecticism is overwhelming and totally fascinating for me.

  • DIMASH KING OF THE VOICE Hi Azzara, I know you are hurt, it can be seen from the changes in your face and eyes. Dimash was prepared by his teacher to be the best opera singer, but he wanted to go further. If at that time he chose to become an opera singer, then the world would not know him, so he chose to become a pop singer as the main road without ever forgetting opera music. Singing not only his life but also his education. Kudaibergen completed the Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014 he graduated in Classical Music (Bel Canto) from the music department of the University of K. Zhubanov in Aktobe. He graduated from the Kazakh National University of Art in Astana where he graduated on 27 June 2018 with the Vocal Department.

Further conjecture without citations, making claims no-one can prove, so you chose to become a poop slinger as the main road apple without ever remembering opera music is known by plenty. Slinging not only your life but also your miseducation. More details people can look up for themselves. in 2014 things happened in music (Babybel Cheese) from the music departments of every university on P. Earth. More information because still not done yet and redundancy to follow from the department of redundancy department.

  • Now that you've seen this, here's a real treat: Dimash did a live performance at Igor Krutoy's 65th birthday gala, with Aida Garrifulina and Lara Fabian, of "Ti Amo Cosi". The three voices blended very well, but what was most impressive was how generous Dimash is as a co-performer. He modulated his performance to support and compliment each of his partners, as different as Aida and Lara are, seemingly without effort.

  • For dears : Now everyone finally knows why some of us prefer the fancam version of Ogni Pietra!! I don't care even if the sound is bad!! Vocal coaches NEED to see the fancams too!! Why?? Because the official versions usually have SYNCING problems (esp when the camera pans and shows the TV in Kazan arena. What's shown on that TV is a few secs late)!!! 🙄🙄🙄 syncing problem may lead ppl to mistakenly think of it as a lipsync coz THINGS DONT MATCH (even if it's only a second late) This is not an excuse as I have seen THE FANCAMS of both Ogni Pietra in Kazan and in Arnau KZ, NO MISSES (and most importantly shows his whole mouth and neck area so you know he's really singing!!!) unlike the official versions!! 😑 Now the lipsync accusers are very happy coz they can happily comment here, yayy!! 🙄 For Angel : Anyway, thank you Angel for the reaction!! 😁😁👍👍always love your explanations!! P.s. these ppl who accuse Dimash of lipsyncing is funny, they say Dimash is lipsyncing in a performance bcoz he doesnt have in ears BUT they also accuse Dimash of lipsyncing in another EVEN IF he's wearing his in ears 😂 another time they say they can't hear Dimash's breathing so it's a recording BUT in a different performance they also accuse Dimash of lipsyncing EVEN IF you can hear his breathing in almost every verse!! funny right? They make up whatever excuses they can find to suit their accusations lol don't care even if they're not being consistent!! 🤣🤣🤣 I'll make it easy for you! If Dimash sings perfectly = lipsync! That's all folks! 😝 That's the source of all evil 😂 then they build their reasons around it 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ One more, people who compare a one hour performance and a whole 3 hour concert are too narrow minded! Of course one can sing perfectly in a one or two song performance!! 😅 Imagine singing the same perfection for a 3 hour concert where you have to jump, run, dance, etc 🙄🙄🙄 not to mention technical problems when YOUR IN EARS DOESNT WORK (remember in ears is very important in a STADIUM concert where there are lots of noises!!) 😑😑😑

For Dimash she is his Idol. he sang many of the songs she wrote. most famous for dimash is Adagio. her name is Lara Fabian. she is from Belgium, she sings in French ( Je suis Malade, Parce que tu pars, ... ), Italian ( Adagio, Caruso, Perdere l'amore, ... ), English ( Adagio ( the one sang by Dimash), Broken vow, you're not from here) ... and many other language 12 as i rememer. Lara doesn't only sing. She is for my opinion the woman who bring the most emotional charge in her songs. many professionals that reacted her songs can't retain tears. i will not give you a particular song. you can choose in the ones i listed . just rememer to take a Live performance. and for "Je suis malade" choose 2001 in paris there is a good version with sutitles. the 2010 in moscow is more emotional ( my opinion ) ... and the 2003 one... heartreaking even she sings less HAHAHA. sorry for long message. i really like your work and you have a new regular viewer

  • Opera singer reacting to Dimash in an operatic mode - delicious. Thanks for this! Let's clear up a detail. The song was composed to be performed in a sports arena - not a theater. It's an exhortation to athletes to give their best performances - not a story-driven opera piece. For that reason, I'm pretty okay with Igor Krutoy's arrangement, which is adapted for sound propagation in a stadium. But I'll agree with you if you demand from Dimash actual opera performances with classical accompaniment. That would be great, too! Now: am I nuts? Don't answer that. I'd rather not know. But in this performance, it seemed to me that when Dimash finished his first head voice section and returned to baritone chest voice, he didn't get the timing right - and he stayed off time with the orchestra and singers for quite a few of the following measures. Eventually, he synched back up with them, and the ending was fine. It wasn't exactly a large timing difference, but I hear it every time I listen to this recording. What I suspect is that his click track got messed up a bit, and then was resynched on the fly by the sound engineer. Did you notice that? Or am I nuts? Don't answer that! :P

  • Both times you interrupted the Bb5 - C6 -D6 run before he hit the D6, losing out on the effect of that moment. 😅😅😅😅😅 Dimash is simply amazing.

  • I like this kind of combination of the operatic and the drums and and whatever else you didn't like as far as the instrumentation. I don't think it would have as wide an appeal if this was standard opera. This is the beauty of Dimash...he blends styles and reaches more people. It's a new musical landscape. It doesn't mean that the opera in it's pure form will be lost....but actually more appreciated as people are more open to such singing. Thanks for adding the fan cam version. I don't care for all the interruptions and explanations of technique as a reaction video. But, I know your purpose for it. Thanks again.

  • Its "perrrf.." lol. Super reaction & interesting perspective on this piece. If you like his low notes you need to check out #Love is like a dream #...Also the otherworldly Passione(New wave 2019 performance) to my ears as a layperson sounds more operatic in the traditional sense✌

  • Dimash has "overcome"/smoothed out his breaks/his passagio AND he can sing in all the registers. He can sound like a baritone, a tenor and soprano (I'll have to pay attention to his alto next). In his recent song "Your Love" he nails an F2 and sounds like a bass...Yes! He's Willie the Whale!

  • He sings like a tenor, achieving what a Baritone achieves. But as Dimash kudaibergen has several voices and difficult to classify, perfect.Kisses from Brazil

  • YAY! I win twice--I've been waiting for this release and I'm first here on the comments. :) THX I'd still love to hear you do Passione. I don't see many people recommend it--there is apparently some lip sync stuff with the back-up voices (you'll see what I mean when you watch it), but Dimash's singing is live. He uses his "Opera" voice for a bit of it and it has a more classical arrangement for sure.

    • The Meaning of Eternity is one of my favourites but it's a very short video game theme song. Ive seen reactors combine it with another - Moonlight Blade the video game that won best OST at the Academy Music Awards I forget what year. It's called Ocean Over Time but the video is more about the game with Dimash mostly singing over the graphics. His voice sounds exquisite in both.

Dimash said in an interview that in singing, before college he had studied as an opera soloist. I thank you for that, because we can hear your bass notes that way we have a versatile singer, who can give us much more.

  • Thanks Angel. The orchestration has an upbeat presentation to suit the event, OP was specially composed for dimash to sing at the opening of the European Olympics in Belarus last year. His VTB Arena performance I like is nicer and a tad slower and of course there's the duet with Aida Garifullina and trio with Lara Fabian at the same concert. Those are real treats imo. Good reaction btw👌💕
